This definitely works, so don't listen to anyone who says it doesn't. I downloaded it months ago, I just came back to see if the new update had been uploaded, but I guess it hasn't.
After we reload our profile we are stuck in the house while the opening tutorial plays. Were supposed to wave at the bot like at the beginning of the game but we cant because were not in the elevator that you start at the beginning.
For future reference when that happens. Make a free google drive account. Then open the link again but this time click 'Add to my drive' in the top right. Then go to your google drive and right click on the added file and click 'make a copy' Once the copy appears simply download from the copy. You'll no longer get the exceeded number of downloads warning.
So download from something else... Google isn't the only host and others are just as good, if not better because of no data limits.(I'm looking at you Megaup)
Took some time to launch, but damn it was worth it. Creators did great job with Job Simulator and used the money wisely on making Vacation Simulator even better game. Never liked selfies in real life but in the game it was a complete blast to add scanner (backpack settings tab) that will port your image into Images folder on PC. Guess for once I'm going to have a ton of screenshots from game.
when you load it up uou have the gray screen with the boundaries for about 30 seconds and then it's a black screen for probably another 15 seconds and then it loads
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but, it's not loading right for me . EDIT: it takes forever to load (maybe just the first time to make a cache) but, it does work. Thanks!!
It takes like 5 mins or less. You should see a grey screen for a bit. Then it goes black. Then it loads. Everytime. If your worried, on the desktop view you should see "vacation simulator" in the bottom corner of a black screen right before the game fully loads .
Nothing that I know of. Only one way to launch the game. No other "fixes" or "cracks". My advice is to restart the whole computer. Not just steam VR. Then try to load it before any other programs (besides start up programs). It does take a long time but, no more the 20 min max I would say .could depend on computer though. Ive got a ryzen 1700x, GTX 1070 and am loading the game off a SSD. Takes about 5 minutes. Was 10 first start up.
I'm not 100% sure if you need Steam VR but, usually these games use a modified version of Steam.API to bypass any DRM etc. If other games work with Oculus from this site then o don't see why you would NEED steam VR. But, if you have steam, installing SteamVR may or may not help. I don't have oculus but use ReVive through SteamVR to play oculus exclusives.
