Yep. I have (pretty much) total trust in this site because if it says it's not safe it's the crack files. Mostly steam.dll files so if it doesn't run the first thing is checking my antivirus
Well after installing the file, a russian message popped up and multiple dodgy applications were installed onto my computer including fake applications that were stuck to my hotbar and taskbar... This is the first time I've seen it happen and the game works fine, but this was a bit dodgy. Who knows what would have happened if I ran those applications.
Also after the “click for link” button there is likely to be an ad before the download page. The fake application in the hot bar glitch is something that’s been going around in windows 10 for a week or so and it happens after deleting applications but restarting you computer should get rid of it just fine
No. You don't understand. I know how that works. What installed the dodgy application WAS the GOG launcher. It installed the game fine BUT also installed dodgy software I then had to uninstall. The russian messages popped up AFTER the GOG installer had completed itself. IGG does have a dodgy history that most people know about within the piracy community, that's not what I'm talking about, this was more likely a result of them sourcing the crack from someplace untrustworthy since they don't crack most of the games they have.
In the gog installer you should just uncheck that option you know? I had that too but I just unchecked the unnecessary options in that page(the russian one in this case)

doesn't work, pressing the launchers have the same effect as just pressing nova drift: Show up in task manager for a couple of seconds then disappear like it wasn't there.
the latest update has some kind of smart steam emulator that I don't understand at all, no matter what I do I can't seem to run the game, anyone else having the same problem? Would be nice if I knew how to solve it too! Edit: I seem to have found the solution. From the archive extract the files and folder seen in the screenshot except for the steam_api.dll and steam_api64.dll those two files are actually SmartSteamEmu.dll and SmartSteamEmu64.dll which have both been renamed. https://puu.sh/EoILm/decda84dce.png
Ah I figured it out what you were trying to say Yes,from the archive, extract the files and folder seen in the screenshot above except for steam_api.dll and steam_api64.dll, AND extract both SmartSteamEmu.dll and SmartSteamEmu.dll64 and rename the SmartSteamEmu.dll to steam_api.dll and SmartSteamEmu.dll64 to steam_api64.dll
That aint working. Renaming the files and removing the original ones, the game still doesnt launch. As for renaming the api.ini itself it causes another error.
