So uhh help. I've installed the game, but it opens up Steam every time I tried to open it, even after I logged out. And when I uninstalled Steam, it only asked "do you allow the following program to make changes to this program?". When I clicked yes, it doesn't do anything else.
I installed the game and launched it successfully, but I'm still suffering from controller recognition forever and the right side of the analog stick being continuously populated. The OK button is recognized when the USB is connected or disconnected. Therefore, the pad setting screen and the screen where the cursor can be moved keeps making sounds forever, and the cursor moves back and forth from side to side, making it impossible to play the game properly. The controller I'm using is an xbox 360 controller. Playing with the steam controller in "steam_emu.ini" didn't help. The driver of the controller is updated. Also, Fate / extra can be used normally by the controller. Only Fate / extralink has a strange controller recognition. Friend, please help someone because I really want to play this game comfortably.

see the codex folder? copy everything inside and paste into the place where you find steamapi, usually where you find the .exe file of the game. let it replace all and enjoy.
yo, i have some problems,when extracting the files, some parts errored, i tried opening it and it didn't work, said i'm missing some dll, pretty sure it is the files that errored
Not an installation problem. Is there other way to increase the difficulty of the early stages? When your level increase, those stages become so easy to the point they're boring, even on Very Hard. And with damage buff, it's even worse, even for harder ones and there're only a handful of lvl110+ stages, which can get old kinda quickly after dozens of playthrough. And I'm not counting stages where you only fight bosses. I change character everytime I finish a stage and it's less boring thanks to that
I was wondering... did they include Gozen Tomoe in this game? Played for a short while, unlocked 4 or 5 of them (or even less,) and I found most of characters are just meh for me.

Please help. So I installed everything just fine and I can run the game, however there is no audio whatsoever when I start it up. All my audio drivers are up to date too so I have no idea what is causing it but I can't play the game without any audio. I tried all my other games and audio works there but not with this.
Go to Control Panel, Sound and Hardware, Sound, under 'Playback' tab, right click on 'Speakers' and click Properties. Then go to 'Advanced' tab and set it to be under 48000Hz sample rate. It seems that Extella Link wont work above that value. Your welcome in advanced.

You need to extract everything from the CODEX folder and copy paste it in the root of the game folder. Then select yes you want to replace everything, and boom! Your game is cracked and ready to play
The root I'm talking about is the very first folder in your game folder. The first screen you get on when you click on the folder that has your game. You'll wanna just copy paste the contents of the CODEX folder, select yes you wanna replace everything, and it'll run normally

Can anyone please help me, I'm getting a little desperate and frustrated. I did everything in the instructions and installed everything, even the crack in the CODEX folder, but when I click on the .exe to run the game, nothing happens and I can't start it up at all (it loads for a bit but the game itself doesn't start up). I had the steam version as well before I got it refunded because I was having the same problem there. It was running at first, but no sound at all. After a reinstall, it stopped launching all together and with this version, it doesn't start up too. Please let me know what I can do to fix this because I just really wanna play the game.

anyone wondering, Yes this has DLC all of it , you will but you wont unlock 4 special costumes which you get only if the game sees you have saves from Umbral star, even a cracked copy save will work its running fine , has some frame drops but thats expected from Marvelous games
