1st undertale was made in GameMaker NOT RPGmaker. 2nd yes they are talking about "rpg 2d hentai" its literally at the start of the comment chain. Also there are plenty of excellent indy titles in unity that can be said to be as good or better than undertale, you really need to branch out and learn a bit more about other games.
Ruined? When was it ever glorified to begin with? RPGMaker games have never been considered mainstream. The relative few that have struck gold can be counted on one hand, and I think Zenix listed them all. And the rest of the RPGMaker games that have become hugely popular? Porn. Most are bad, I'll give you that, but the amount of quality H-games that have high sales figures and lots of replayability vastly outnumbers the amount of non-porn RPGMaker titles. It's not really that sad. Nobody is playing RPGM stuff and thinking they're discovering the next Skyrim or Witcher. The bar is set pretty damn low for these games as it is
