Hotline samurai : Dark souls edition edit: warning you need a gamepad to play correctly, keyboard + mouse its so fucked up ( which it SUCKS i hate playing with gamepads)
i dont download AAAs very often specially big ones (less than 20 GB) i downloaded jump force just to test my 1080 ti and got nice FPS but terribly dissapointed of the game i am mostly doing Doom 2 modding and playing indies, if they are good i keep them DMC5 looks good but 30+ gb and it seems to be a short game ( a lot of people already finished the game)
I wouldn't estimate the quality of a game based on the time one spends with the main storyline. ESPECIALLY not with DMC5. That game is all about mastery of the MANUAL combat system (no auto-assist). If you play DMC5 based on this I bet you can play 50+ hours and still not master the gameplay. I dare you hahah
lol l never gonna understand why people like games that looks like 8 bit cartidges, back then l was dreaming about games looking this good... Like how can you even resist to play dmcV when you a gamer. lt totally escapes my understanding.
8-bit definitely never looked this detailed. Not even close. Not even 16-bit did. (but they sure had nice colors, especially on Super Famicom.) SOME 32-bit rpgs on Saturn and PS1, maybe...
its a mystery but these days indies are getting more and more terrain rather than AAAs there some who are shiny jewels and gives you hours of entertaining (stardew valley, dont starve, hollow knight, enter the gungeon, darkest dungeon, slay the spire) i got a strange addiction for them as long they are not early access or bad ones
lol how that liking barely games that are barely worked on over AAA is refined taste? l think that maybe is that you are so full of yourself to actually believe that. Pitiful really...
dude l told you,l dreamed and imagined how good the games would look today when l was playing pc games and arcade games back in the 90s.... l played the original 8 bit games and MAME arcades for years,l got actually tired of pixelated games. Except for Metal Slug and KoF. How can you get exited to play a cartoony game when you can see games taht almost look like real,or how would you picture in your imagination... They are just there,to be played. Do you think l would loose my time playing litterally 20 years old grafical games? lts almost like you tell me you prefer the regular women flat body shape of the 80s over the current beautyful bootys most girls have. Do you catch my drift?
i used to be like you on the mid-late 2000s i played a lot of well know AAA titles but for some reason i got tired of them its hard to explain why i lost the interest of AAAs and have more for indies
this is exactly why l will never understand you people... Now ,dont wanna bother but,lm curious, let me ask you something. lf it would be posible for you to be a vidya hero or protagonist would you like to be one or would you rather be living in the real world and keep your life as it is?lf so,who or what. Just that.
just to clarify,in this hipotetical question you can still be yourself with all your current personality and everything that you know and experienced in life, l was not refering that you take the rol of said character. But you can if you want to
hahah lol good choice... But too bad you like money that bad that you missed that would be able to, for example, travel the entire universe as Superman. And would not be possible with all the resources on planet Earth. Just saying... but that akes me think that maybe your lack of apreciation is related to this, that you fail to see what would be more valuable at the time of choosing. And so with your taste for gaming is lacking the real appreciation it should have in a logical ,more practical view Now what is causing this would be a better find. But anyways thanks for replying. See ya...
The vast majority of "AAA" games have extremely primitive, repetitive, and boring gameplay compared to most indie games. I almost completely stopped playing AAA games a decade ago now. I only have a few ones, like GTA 5, Far Cry 5... And I actually have LESS fun than when I play Streets of Rogue, Realms of Magic, Avadon/Avernum, etc. These games are "barely" worked on? Actually, indie developers work on the gameplay with a rich experience, instead of AAA developers who focus only on looks and offer only shallow gameplay with no substance. Secondly, but it's only a matter of taste, pixel art is one of the most magical things which has ever been accomplished by mankind. lol ok , maybe I exaggerate, but still... Go look at the fighting stages made in the 90s in NeoGeo games. 2D and 3D shouldn't be compared though, anyway. But pixel art offers a certain atmosphere which can't be done with 3D, so these games will never die and there'll always be a demand for it, even when games look and feel like reality.
No no, to be more precise, you mean that the technical aspect of these games do require less work, because they're more "simple". Obviously, huge open-world 3D games will require many artists and programmers, while Streets of Rogue, for example, is made by just one guy.(and another one for the music) Stardew Valley was made by one guy too.
"you mean that the technical aspect of these games do require less work"...lol wtf? You are telling me what l ment when l writed my own reply? lol you are really just to much bruh.lm out
Yes, I mean exactly that. I never said you were wrong about this. I said that some of these 2D indie games have great gameplay and... Ok ok we're wasting time. I'm out too.
ooooh so i am not the only one with that tastes nice theres something you are right about pixel graphic gaming they are true artwork because doing sprite by sprite are more hard as fuck than doing 3d models heres a example of an amazing pixel graphic artwork https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0N4lp01tFwg
dude you have tomato sauce instead of blood... lf you get you kicks out of indie games. You dont know what you missing. Luckily some people doesnt think like you. And those peple make great things
