The fix for getting stuck on Kasumi splash screen is; Right-click setup file -> Properties and check the unblock option, then apply -> OK. Only then should you install/reinstall the game/updates. Don't forget to unblock the setup files for the updates, rinse and repeat above instructions. (An extra measure is to unblock the folder containing the game or updates. That option does not always appear though.) In case you have already installed the game, uninstall it -> delete DOA6 install folder and use ccleaner to remove registry files. Then perform a clean install using above install instructions. Test the base game to see if it works before installing updates.

The v1.20 is included together in the main files now (the 9 parts game +_+). Just look elsewhere if you only want the v1.20 patch download, I found some by random google.

There is an update that only includes patch 1.20, but it isn't by codex. Codex just released it as the whole game again, but with all updates already applied. You can search for the other update, if you don't want to redownload it all.

You don't need the DLC Unlocker after the first update, that I know of. Each new patch includes their own steam_emu.ini file with the DLC. You just set the value for DLCUnlockall=0 to DLCUnlockall=1

Dlc unlocker is to unlock the dlc costumes in game, cause even though you download the parts for the dlc they're like not immediately available in-game. You'll have to collect "dress parts" by completing DOA quest and then purchase using in-game money. DLC unlocker skips these processes. Update hotfix? No idea, I didn't even download it.
Sometimes I think the fan-made costumes (mods) are better than the recycled dlc Koei Tecmo bringing into doa 6. Some are really decent made, like Deadpool, Squall, Cloud, Tifa costume.

Unfortunately you have to install the other updates as well, they're like individual patches for fixes, new dlc costumes, new character, etc. I heard someone said you can skip start from v1.08 instead of v1.04, better just download all of em'.
I would suggest re-installing the patch 1.16 specifically and paste the crack properly, if is still doesn't work (this one kinda long work). Do all over (reinstall) from the base game, make sure no rar/zip files for the dlc are corrupted and try again. If it still doesn't work, I'd say stick with the older patch until a new patch comes (maybe its your pc). By the way, the update 1.16 works for mine.
MegaUp downloads are extremely slow, and the other ones are dead. What a mess. And on top of that the game doesn't have keyboard key-binding options. Seems fine to me. Played Kasumi and other characters no problem with new 1.14 patch. Just don’t forget to apply crack when patching, or remove any mods as it may conflict with new version of game.

I can understand dlc with a price but that's quite a number of dlc costumes like directly ctrl c + ctrl v from doa 5. Yeah, I'm definitely not the right person to judge (since I'm downloading this here) but for you guys out there who actually spent money on the dlcs..are they worth it? Tick the "copy contents of codex to install dir" checkbox. It will apply crack to the game. This will solve all problem people having below... Also when installing update, start with 1.08, it includes all previous patches, then go straight to 1.11 then 1.12.
Installed everything in order including the 1.02 update and codex. However, I keep getting this 0xc0000142 error, which prevents the game from starting at all. I even attempted to fix this using the solutions I found which involves system config, regeditor.exe, etc, all attempts have failed and I just cannot fix this error.

Thanks for the reply guys, but I kinda did the long way (trainers and cheat engine looked kinda troublesome). I just grind some Doa Quest to unlock the costumes, not that much actually...since I only have the three haven't fully unlock their costumes ^^. Thanks regardless.
With Cheat Engine installed, double-clcking the downloaded CT file should autmatically open the program and let you select from a list of options. Once you choose your options, you no longer have to run the program or the table unless you want to change options, since unlocks will be permanently applied to the DOA6 process.

Remember also to keep REDELBE version up to date as you install newer versions of DOA6; for example, when updating the game to v1.09 you should also update REDELBE to v1.1.

You first make sure your game is the original version. Then go find the update file for version 1.02. And update. After that, please be sure to update the version 1.04a, 1.05, 1.06 in order. Remember that no one step can go wrong

What I just did to make it work is to install core fighters from steam and then apply the crack of version 1.6. Quite simple, but temporary until they update the game again.
------------SOLUTION FOR LAG/FRAMEDROP FIX-------------- Change your graphic card settings in Nvidia control panel (select your graphic card, default is integrated), tips!!
Go to Nvidia Setting click Manage 3d setting select "Program Setting" tab.
click add to add the game.exe from box "1. select program to customize"
now click "2. select the preferred graphics" box and change integrated card to high performance nvidia card.
About the loading screen... The way i fixed it was..copying data and all the files from the base game of a legit version(i have a steam copy just wanted to try out kula) to the crack version then applying the files in the CODEX folder. It worked.. I have a suggestion haven't tested it but you can.Since base game with hotfix and dlc unlocker work copy the base game files and the file in data drop them in a new folder and save them for later then update the game and all 1.dlc unlocker 2.hotfix 3. Updates 104 to 106... Apply updates and copy the files inside the CODEX folders of each UPDATE. Then grab base game files that you copied and pasted somewhere else. Copy them all of it....data folder the 0A folders all of it!!! Paste in the current updated game.... Then go to update folder. 1.06v./CODEX/ copy all files... Paste into game... Then try launching if it works great!!! If it didnt then im sorry never promised anything...

Downloaded the game Installed all updates But can't install hotfix "02\02.bin Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: -1957095300" And ofc after installing updates the game is not working (Only first window shows with Kasumi and that's it)
Sure method I've got to work so far, is just download and install the base game version. Double-click .exe. This will launch it in steam. Let steam download the entire game. Once that's done simply copy the contents of crack folder from update 1.05 into steam version and then launch. Should work fine (long as versions are same.)

I downloaded the v1.02 also from CODEX and try using it without any other patch and it worked perfectly, however after installing the update v1.04a it gives me an error (0xc0000142) at launch (so not even the Kasumi image splashes). I did a clean uninstall and tried using the following order with the same results: DLC unlocker - game works Hotfix - game works v1.02 - game works v1.04 - error 0xc0000142 at launch v1.05 - error 0xc0000142 at launch Any ideas? thanks!
Uninstall the game completely then install the game ISO don't copy crack or do anything else otherwise installing the iso then install Update (1.02) not Hotfix not anything else then try to launch the game if success then install Update (1.04a) and try to launch Note: My game size is 31.8 GB are you got the same size?

16 GB RAM With all maxed out I'm having between 23 and 25 fps; checked some video tests with the same specs as me and they all run stable 60fps. I tried without and with the hotfix, installed all the necessary resources and nothing changed, any help?
Thanks! I followed the instructions and now it works way better; there's still some framerate drops but only when the effects get a bit hectic and it might be just a 5 fps drop. Other than that, I can max out the game with stable 60fps! Thanks again!
so I know on the system requirement it says Windows 10 is needed, but does it mean the game cant run on Windows 7? because apparently theres a game also has that system requirement but people are able to run it on Windows 7. I'm confused

in the end there was a problem with the iso as i tried to extract it instead of mounting it. also hanged around 50%. i redownloaded the game and it works great now.
you get the unlocker, it unlocks all the characters and their deluxe edition costumes. however, the costumes you actually want are still locked behind the grind.

Ok, so I have a problem. I played the game for a bit and tried to close it out. it decided to keep running in task manager so I closed it there. when I try loading the game again, it plays no sound and when it gets to the title screen to ask me to press any button, no buttons are working. not on my keyboard or the controller. Edit: Ok, so I figured out what was wrong... apparently the danm thumb sticks on my controller supersede all other buttons locking them all out including the keyboard... weird. sound is back to which is also weird. Still got a problem with the program hanging on after its closed though. EDIT2: NVM Again... the danm thing breaks every time I turn it off.

copy that X program in the game installation folder and open it , u will find "edit and start "' on keyboard and controller , press edit and then scrrol down and press configure all , there are buttons u should not configure, when u finish configure close and press save configuration and finally press start on what u just edit . and open the game it will work

the usual fix is that you need to apply the crack to the game files. I'm not sure if they have a new crack in the torrent hotfix files, if so it should be there inside the "CODEX" folder. if not, mount the disc image for the game again and and look inside for the same folder I mentioned. Copy all the contents and paste them into the game folder where you installed the game.

did you grab the "DLC Unlocker" download there above the System Requirements? Extract it to the game folder. it should replace the "steam_emu" config file and you should have all DLC outfits and what not. Edit: I'll have to download the game to see what's going on.

Maths To See Just How Bad This Unlock System Is Taken from reddit, credit to the guy who took the time for this. Didn't see this here (and if it is somewhere sorry) so thought yall would like to see it. "- If you complete arcade mode on the highest difficulty that will now be 70 points, and the cheapest new costume is 200 (3rd default colour is 100). But since it goes to one of the 200 costumes at random each time, in theory you could beat it 400 times and never get more than 140 points towards an unlock.
So that's 3200 matches against the max level CPU, assuming you never lost a single one. And we have no idea if the points are truly random, or weighted towards certain characters or outfits.
To unlock Kasumi's complete wardrobe is 7450 points. Even if you were able to unlock only for the character you were using, that's 107 arcade runs or 856 matches with her. If you're a newcomer and playing it on the lowest difficulty for 10 points, that's 749 runs or 5992 matches. The men need 1350 points, or 20 pro/135 rookie runs. (there is a slight variation in the totals, but for the sake of simplicity we'll say they're the same.)
If we say 10 minutes to complete an arcade run including load times, that's just under 18 hours for a pro, and 125 for a beginner, assuming every point went towards one female character.
There are 15 females and 11 males who need a grand total of 126,600 points, so that's 1809 pro runs or 12,663 rookie runs, or 14,472/88,641 matches. Or time wise 301/2110 hours.

Hey, I downloaded all of the parts, extracted them together, mounted the ISO, installed the game, but there was no CODEX folder (not including the DLC Unlocker steam.emu I copied over) for me to copy parts over. That means I'm led to the Steam page when I try to play. Am I doing something wrong? This is my first time doing a CODEX crack, so feel free to call me stupid or whatever as long as you can help.
When every part is downloaded, run the installer from the ISO. On the installer, click the checkbox to copy everything to the instaldir. It should work fine from there.
the edit was added to the downloads as "DLC Unlocker" it includes everything. from what I've heard, just extract it right into the game folder and change one line in it "DLCUnlockAll" from 0 to 1. Copy the DLC unlocker to the game folder, which is a steam_emu.ini file. Open it in notepad or somethingg and scroll to the bottom. Change the value to DLCUnlockAll from 0 to 1.
should be just like anything else. Download, Extract, Hit the setup executable and direct the install to where you installed the game. if there is a new .exe for the game itself, take that and copy it into the game folder to replace the one you already have.
The game is excellent but an update is badely require cause strangely the voices on the story mode are completely fucked up , don't know why . The voices are not corresponding . The game was also very slow the first time i launch it but seems the prob the game had, was the same that street fighter v had . you must desactivated v-synch in nvidia setup and then the game is running perfectly without any lag .

well that sounds like most companies now, including capcom. the ultimate scams they have going on. for example, capcom would sell a street fighter game, then not include guile and akuma and sell them at a price, which is ridiculous considering both characters are default characters. gaming has becoming ridiculous lately, between that scammed method and the fact that we can't play single player games anymore without having a internet connection, gaming has changed from the past and not in a good way. Same here, can't play this due to this issue. But, they said that you have to try unplug all USB, controllers connected like Bluetooth/WiFi dongle. Re-plug and plug it back. Disable the HID-compliant system controller under Device manager.
I quit the game, applied the dlc unlocker, changed the name inside the steamemu.ini (replaced codex by my nickname and changed the language into french) and I restarted the game. No more problems!

It should be there if you've run the game at least once (may even create the folders upon installation). Definitely works for me (*the game created those folders for me). The only content not unlocked is the music.

wow i loved DOA since i played DOA back in the day the gamplay to me was always more fun then slow games like tekken and soul caliber and games that require you to memorize 10 hit combos like street fighter as if i'm studying for a test. Seriously, with that costume unlock system, there is no chance I'm going to buy this game. I wasn't sure about it, cause this month are also "Left Alive", "One Piece", "Yoshi" and "Sekiro" released. But with such a moronic system in place, that requires grinding for days to unlock one costume, I'm happy that I decided against this game. Maybe later down the line when/if they patched it. But nope... no chance in this current state.
Throwing away this game because of a costume unlock system is kinda dumb though. Of course the costumes are a BIG plus, but you play a fighting game for its' fighting mechanics (which are surprisingly great) and for the fun of it. The more you play, the more costumes you get. The ONLY bad thing i see from this release is the $90+ season pass 1 and future DLC stuff.
absolutely agree . The game is great in term of fighting mechanics and it is normal that you need to play to unlock stuffs like costumes . People like to much to have everything unlocked then what will be the interest to play if it is not to gain stuffs. The best you are, the most you will get . That is why i regret old time games . I've played fighting games with the goal to unlock stuff. Since this competitive shit is going on, no game has unlockable fighters anymore. So the only thing this game had was different outfits. And with the current system, they took even that away. Well you can always play Street fighter 5 if you have the urge to unlock fighters...not really something most people like (considering it never gets brought up), so i didn't expect that to be a feature lol. As for outfits, i do not actually know how long it takes to unlock one at a time but since my game download on steam is in progress, i will know soon ^-^ . Whether it is slow or not, i'm sure it will not be as bad as Street fighter 5 and the DOA fighting game itself is honestly worth the time. But it is your money, so if you find the costume unlocking and fighting to be moronic and not worth it, then that is completely your choice :]
download the unlocked dlc and will not ask keys anymore, i downloaded and opens all the chars but u still need to wacht the videos in story mode to unlock new ones

DoA is a franchise that is easy to play but hard to master. Its sad that people only see this as a boobs physics simulator and that undermines the fact that this game has a very solid gameplay for a fighting game.
The "holds" system makes or breaks the game. For those that master it, it's a very enjoyable 3-D fighter; for those that do not, it's a button-mash fiesta and virgin titillation simulator.
If the shaders leave the game very heavy disable tightening "F2"

(An extra measure is to unblock the folder containing the game or updates. That option does not always appear though.)
In case you have already installed the game, uninstall it -> delete DOA6 install folder and use ccleaner to remove registry files. Then perform a clean install using above install instructions. Test the base game to see if it works before installing updates.

The game was also very slow the first time i launch it but seems the prob the game had, was the same that street fighter v had . you must desactivated v-synch in nvidia setup and then the game is running perfectly without any lag .

Then place or copy over the save files. Definitely works for me (*the game created those folders for me). The only content not unlocked is the music.
As for the save, there's a few hairstyles that haven't been unlocked like Ayane's and Phase 4's. Just an FYI.

the gamplay to me was always more fun then slow games like tekken and soul caliber and games that require you to memorize 10 hit combos like street fighter as if i'm studying for a test.

I tried DOA 5 but didn't enjoy it that much. I prefer much better the fast-paced gameplay of Street Fighter V.
Edit: wow the stages are really boring and uninspired compared to DOA 5 though...

The game refuses to launch even after applying the crack. The program starts; I can see the icon but it doesn't go into anything.

22 of download + 22 of the iso =44 real
44-22 of the deleted unrar> 22 + 28 of the installation folder =50 gbs
