this is the comment to which will tell you this can not be played on older hardware (enhanced edition made RT a requirement) the developers did not update requirements section
'gold edition' is the older version which looks better due to gamma adjustments not being correct on this version. but, you can view the differences here (note that RT is not an option to turn off on enhanced edition!)
your welcome... just reminded me i still have this installed and have yet to finish the last of the main story. (never did try the DLC's) which is why i even bothered redownloading since it had been years after id beat the main story lol

i used to play this on a 1060 6gb card. (was just looking at my old comments, this is one of those comments) where i am speaking about this game, and someones issue and myself mentioning "works on blah blah something something gtx 1060 6gb" (alot of other nonsense but) it works fine!
hell, i see another of my comments that stated i played this on my old 750ti. (my old disqus comments are tied to my account) you cant see them. but i can.. i cant get the link to pull up, so it may be deleted on this games page. but here is an image to prove what im saying. (only showing the 750ti comment) as the others i was... naive to say the least. (look at the BOTTOM LEFT link box black in color yea, ive been here around 8 years. EDIT- just checked, oldest comment now is 4 years ago. but this game is older than that. either way, my point is the same. minimum specs are way lower than a 1050/60 gpu!
now if your trying "HIGH" then make sure raytracing is turned off. its been far to long for me to remember any methods of making this run. but
I encountered some error, it says "graphic device does not support dxr1.1 or above." when I have Geforce GTX 1650, with DirectX 12. Can anyone enlighten me please...

i have a 2060 rtx (someone mentioned we need Rtx to run this version...) but a rz 5 5600x.
Should be enough for the original game I guess, but not this.
