Damn Why this game always crashing in Chapter 3?! Even worst I can't any fixes online. Like WTF! I have to do the Funeral again and again and again, but crashed before I get out. FUCK. They even added save options. Why not allow players to save during battle!
Whenever i connect my controller everything goes Haywire. it does connect but it doesnt respond to anything (except the XBox button) and presses the DPad UP ingame. when i try to move my mouse it always goes up when controller is connected
i don't know why but yakuza kiwami won't open if i don't run it admin and if i apply the codex update it will give me a steam error and won't recognize my controller if i run it as admin but if i don't run it as admin it won't even launch someone please help
look for ''Download CODEX CRACK for Yakuza Kiwami + PC game download'' from pcdroide patching on youtube and put the content of the first link where the launcher is, it worked for me
The game works fine on my laptop, BUT there's this VERY FRUSTRATING problem. The game crashes, and closes on its own whenever:
You alt+Tab or anything that forces you to another window (like plugging something in the audio jack, and it opens RealTek)
You unplug or connect anything in the USB port
Anything that brings you back to the title screen, like a Game Over, and (this is the worst) when you finish the game, and it (supposedly) goes back to the title screen. I'd be fine with it if it at least saved right after, but it doesn't. I have to play the whole final chapter again in hopes that it would save when I finish it

Hey guys, for some reason my controller acts really strange in kiwami, for some reason when i for example bump into people, or camera make a sharp move, my sticks tend to block in one direction, making kiryuu moving in one direction, making loops, so does camera. Since it appears more as ingame bug, rather then hardware problem, i'd just like to know if anyone got the same issue, but if someone somehow managed to fix it, i'll be glad to hear how. the analog sticks in my pad, blocks in one direction, making me unable to play Oh and btw I use steam big picture controller since x360ce didn't work for the game and it's the only config that allows my gamepad to work. i don't know what you mean by common gamepad, i've tested it with playstation & xbox one controller worked just fine in every pc games and i use antimicro for non supported gamepad game like Mount & blade.
It's one of these since my original ones got broken few months ago and this is all I can use for now but the thing is, it works just fine with every other game I have that's why I think it's an in-game problem.
first of all make sure that your Specs are good enough. don't know about the Audio but for the frame you can try to use BES battle encoder and target -2% on Yakuza process (this should work if your CPU is stressed too much)
This^ One of the best story I have ever seen, I always wanted to try it, and now I have the chance to do it, I am gonna to support them, so they can bring more Yakuza for PC, the game is so underrated even with better story than popular games like GTA V, God of War, Resident Evil, Etc. In my opinion. Hopeful we can see more of this game in Steam Dx.
The game is more than AWESOME! The story is one of the best I have ever seen, It's so addictive and I couldn't stop until it finished, if you like it support them. I am so excited for the Kiwami 2. Is it just me or the screen size appears abit too near cropped especially during fights, I'm not sure...the fights in Yakuza 0 was pretty wide area and I can see the surroundings better. But I felt the screen size in Yakuza Kiwami is pretty (I don't know)..my monitor is 1920x1080, am I doing the settings correct? Or is this just normal and I have to suck it up?
I pirate games because i'm a little kid below the age of getting a job and i still haven't finished school, i wasn't the rich kid, i have a single mom working and raising me without a father so money is only for surviving purposes and 1 or 2 quality of life things, like maybe a movie or dinner etc. I don't want to worry her and make her work over time just so i can buy a game, because she will do it. The issue would be the OP. Implying that pirates only want free games instead of pirating because of a multiple of reasons is more of an issue. One individual shaming a community for pirating because they felt like it was the morally upstanding thing to do seems rather minor.
It's true that piracy doesn't affect it much as most pirates tend to by the game anyways later on. The only issue is when people development a cult-like belief that games should be free and they are entitled to pirate games until the industry dies. Probably why those that crack games tend to slap comments like support if you enjoy or whatever somewhere in a corner. Believe me, this happens a lot if you deal with kids.
in my opinion, they're testing the water on sales with how it goes if the game didn't use denuvo, they been doing well on console with their game releases, so if their releases have poor sales, you can say goodbye to future releases of sega game on pc, like fist of the north star and yakuza kiwami 2 to yakuza 6 (the best one) since porting games ain't free, if they don't profit from it, they won't bother porting it

Yakuza 1 is the first game in the series released way back in the 2000s, remade/remake into Yakuza Kiwami. Yakuza 0 came out in 2015 and is the prequel to Yakuza 1/Kiwami
