Ohhhh, okay. When I played this a while back, I recognized enough of the names that I thought it was a DigiPen student project. I guess instead it was an early access game that happened to have been made by DigiPen students. I might have to see what all's changed since then, since it was a decent little game when I played it. (Though I see the utter lack of tutorials or hints is much the same...)
