Not sur that codex update files work with your GOG base install files. In fact i dont even need to try it. It won't work. IGG please replace GOG base game by a codex one TY.
i agree,unfortunatly.there are near-gamebreaking bugs,like you described.I had a bug (tutorial mission),i have to go in a right way into a conversation or it keeps stuck.damn it.and so on and on.
"Unique RTS mechanic of acquiring new units by converting citizens" It's really not that unique, you can do the same thing in Star Wars Empire At War Forces of Corruption by just having Tyber Zann bribe the enemy forces into joining the player's faction.
