Honestly, if you want to play in VR, don't bother until at least Build 94 is uploaded. I own this game and after 3 years of development on the latest update, VR is actually worse than it was before. They've released an update since then that apparently fixes a lot of issues that I haven't tried yet, but there's stuff like VR hands not matching the position of real hands that there was no mention of being fixed yet.
I'd just wait another couple of months and hope for another update here. I could only play for a couple of minutes before the bugs and jankiness made me quit.

no you boomer. you're just getting redirected to some ad website which wants you to download a file. probably a trojan of some sort. I think it's pretty shitty that igg has these ads that trigger no matter where you click.
True, it does, but in order to download from igg-games, it won't continue unless you have adblock turned off. The pctorrents sister site, oddly enough, doesn't have the same problem
make sure you download the correct file, the links should bring you to bluemedia then to the download host which will give you a .rar file, anything else is just an ad adobe flash is not necessary.
Ctrl+W is your best friend in this case. If a new tab opens, it's an ad. Ctrl+W closes it immediately, that way this site doesn't gain ad revenue. Minor win, but a win nonetheless. However, if the page opens in the same tab, it's the legitimate site. Both on here and bluemedia. At least it does that for me on Chrome.
Ive always just kept updating without playing this.. WHOA man! What a horrible game! I followed the directions and the train just wont move. I finished the tutorial no problem!!! I get a regular mission and no matter what it didn't move! I'm glad i didn't buy this garbage or id be upset now i can delete this and try a game that is decent! I hate when games are bugged and don't work correctly, maybe ill try this when it is fully released but for now this is just a waste of space!
Don't know what your Problem is. I downloaded it yesterday and it works just fine on my old potato. Maybe you forget to release both breakes (That was my first Problem too) Maybe give it another try.

Placed a formal request for the update - Suggest you all do the same if you want the new build. Also, for those having issues with “non-vr”, you shouldn’t need to do anything stated below. Just load the game and wait, the game should automatically recognise that you don’t have VR. If it freezes, just wait a little as it takes a while to load.
Mine gets stuck just showing the sky on the desktop and nothing in my Odyssey+ headset. It looks like the steamVR completely freezes. I am having this issue on MANY of the games that run with LAUNCHER and LAUNCHERx64 . Most of them crash on my system. Has anyone else had this problem? It's like the SteamVR that is included with LAUNCHER is broken. How do I fix it?
i really want to play this game but i just cant find the smartsteamemu.ini, i have literally checked every folder. can some one please take a screenshot.
go to the main game folder from where you launch the game. then right click on it and select create the shortcut. that drag it to desktop. right click on the shortcut and click properties and ad -nonvr at the end.
Well, I can tell you right off the bat, your CPU and GPU are likely not powerful enough to play the game; without a doubt, this game requires a dedicated GPU and a decent CPU. I run the game with lag and it takes forever to start, but it does play; I included my system specs. i7-3820 @ 3.6GHz Quad core - watercooled 12Gb DDR3 1600 GTX 1070 FTW ICX
Other than the lag, the game is a lot of fun if you enjoy trains. Would really like to see a few different engines added down the road, but overall, it just needs to be optimized. IMO, this is one the best train sims for VR out there and is going on my steam wishlist. Thanks IGG.

It's simply amazing, how beautifully VR has grown. Often the people said "it's dead". But i see a slowly growth. In my opinion better, than a fast hype. I'm here to check the games in a better as a "2h steam" way. After my test, i always buy the game, if i like it. So i thank you, that VR is supported here. And thanks, for the extra "vr games" section. Sadly only a few VR titles are listed there. This is bad for the overview.

Fixed. Added the -nonvr in the SmartSteamEmu.ini and it works. Already managed to derail the shunter :V
