yeah, the Hotline Miami feel is there, especially if you try a reckless route (no slowmotion), but because of it you can see the flaws more easily, like instant reaction enemies with perfect accuracy (at best you can hope to kill each other with the last enemy and complete the level, at worst those guys have eyes on their freaking necks and you are f*cked), you can't disarm enemies, doors are a nuisance if you shot through them most of the time. I do commend the AI for not shooting me outside the screen through windows on bigger levels (unlike Hotline Miami 2) but, at the same time, it feels like they are camping just outside the screen ready to shot you if they spot you and you move towards them (you can use this to your advantage though). And finally, mostly uninspired boss battles (people who watched Hard Boiled will recognize the shootout on the hospital's hallway).
The again, I honestly believe it has better level design than Hotline Miami 2, and I enjoyed the gameplay most of the time.

Yes i have sleeping dogs install, i bought the original when it was on steam. But the re-masted version, i download it because its worse than the original lol. But i play sleeping dogs everyday, its my favorite open world game. I boycotted Square Enix because they were the ones who shut down the devs and thus we will never ever get sleeping dogs 2 or trial wars as a offline single player game.
