Hello everyone, I gave it a try, I don't know if I will play it again but here is my impression: I don't know anything about Syrians except their leader is a douche bag so I won't judge the cultural difference between them and me (I mean the civils). First, the wife is supposed to escape because of the war, but I never felt in danger myself as playing the husband who stayed back in Syria. I never missed a day of when she called either, and I didn't have a life except to be a tenant of some shop. My wife was the ideal woman, always confident, can walk miles, bond with everyone and have a good heart. Too good though because I can convince her to abandon a pregnant woman with a child, but she dislikes when I show a bit of jealousy toward other males she meets (what? even as a girl I can play jealous husbando, lol) Anyway, I didn't felt engaged by the storytelling and pacing while "My Child Lebensborn" on Android hooked me instead. Because I saw before my eyes how such a sweet child was shutting down even he/she was trying her hardest and me as a parent I was doing everything could as legal I can, but nope the child was wittering away. I guess, what I am trying to say is that the main leads didn't have any real flaws, none had any mental break down, didn't argue or whatever super negative that could happen. I don't mean I want drama, no, but I don't know you but I wouldn't have been able to keep my calm in many situations they were in, IMO. Overall, it's not a bad game, but I expected better since it had a "budget."

I mean, cellphones are common in the world. But not as common as you might think. How can the poor who can't even feed themselves buy a cellphone? Nour and Majd have a freaking SMARTPHONE. In times of war and conflict, the last thing on people's minds who are fleeing their country because of how they could possibly die in an instant, are electronic devices. This game definitely does not represent or show what real-life refugees went through to get to a safe place. I feel there was no real fear, sadness or any palpable emotion in the game because the writer is literally A FRENCH WOMAN who's already living quite a comfortable life as a born-european. This "project" is trash. Because of how disconnected the game vs the real thing truly is. Now, i've been a volunteer at a refugee camp in my country for almost a year before i quit and i have to say that not once have i ever saw a refugee (be it Syrian or any other nation) come into the country with any comfort materialistic electronic devices besides the clothes on their backs and the family money that they've brought with them. And a lot of them don't even have anything because it has been stolen by greedy selfish people (most of the time their fellow refugee) who were looking for any type of way to survive on their way to a safer place. And don't attack people personally, that just makes you look insecure.
