no, just copy all the files in the CODEX, only the files, into the games file location, copy it at the file location that already contained 'steam_api.dll'. It will told you to either copy and replace or skip. Replace the file
The only files that work are the MegaUP ones and the first one doesn't even want to finish downloading (don't even try the other sites, they say expired or unexistant)
I can't launch it, it opens steam everytime even if I disconnect from steam. I looked in the codex folder but there is no crack file in it, only read me, links, codex and de .nfo file. Someone in the same case ?

Just to let everyone know, it appears that the controller function is only avaible through Steam, so the pirated version don't have the controller functionality. I recomend using an emulator so when you press a certaing buton on the controller the game detects the input as the keyboard gl pirates !

About Persona 5, it had a new Persona 5 : The Royal as PS4 exclusive with new content (see Persona 4 The Golden) and Persona 5 S on Switch (Musou game by Omega Force) but computer had pretty much near zero hint about anything.
There's a folder named "CODEX" inside the iso file. After you have installed the game, copy all the files inside codex and paste it in the game folder you installed on.
Sorry I should have worded it better, by my PS4 controller not working I mean that antimicro does detect it and the inputs but it still doesn't work in Catherine. I've already uninstalled the game, but when I get around to downloading it again I'll give X360ce a try. Thanks for trying to help :)

You can always download a program called Joy2Key or something similar in order to play with your controller instead. It's literally the same as the steam configurations

They didn't steal code, get your facts straight. They used a TOOL that was fanmade and hosted on github to port the game to pc and left some of that TOOL's source code on the game's files. They don't have to credit every single god damn tool they use when they develop/port games, that would be retarded. And besides, the port was sub contracted to another company, it wasn't Atlus themselves who made the port. So no, Atlus didn't steal anything

anyone having some cutscenes problems? mine either runs too fast and it desync with the audio, or it's just a black screen. been messing around with my nvidia settings, but can't figure it out.

(Editted) Mine got problem with the laptop battery or something, when plugged in the cutscene or the title logo failed to load and boom black screen... For me, just disconnect the charger will do the trick.
Looks like controller support is implemented through steam's input feature so the only way that i know of to actually play this with a controller is to use a program like JoyToKey or simply buy it on Steam, bummer. Oh, and my guess is that's why trying to check the input settings in the configuration crashes the game since it's not being run through steam as a steam game.
