Hello, so I downloaded everything, game ran normally (although I had the ai error where the ai freezes on skirmish mode), but thats irrelevant cause I found an old cd retail copy I used to have, so I deleted all of the files from this site, which where downloaded on an external hard disk, and I went on to install the game normally from my cds. However when I try to run the 1st disk, it appears as if the game is already installed on my pc, but I cannot uninstall it either. It shows the message: cant find directory of my hard disk where I downloaded this version. What do I do

If you're like me and installed the game and both expansions and then found you couldn't use the Warchiefs races or maps in Asian Dynasties, this is what you need to do to make her go:
run Regedit.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Microsoft Games/Age of Empires 3 Expansion Pack 2/1.0 in and copy the PID value.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Microsoft Games/Age of empires 3 Expansion Pack/1.0, click the right mouse button
(edit: not edit an existing reg. but make a new one by right-clicking a blank part of the screen)) and create a string value with the name of PID.
Inside paste the value copied before.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Microsoft Games/Age of Empires 3 Expansion Pack 2/1.0, and copy the value DigitalProductID.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Microsoft Games/Age of Empires 3 Expansion Pack/1.0, right-click, and create a binary value.
Rename the value with the name inside DigitalProductID and paste the value copied before.
Now when you next run Asian Dynasties you will be able to use the Indian races. Enjoy."

I've cracked the game properly by copying the files inside PROPHET folder. Then i play TAD > start new single player > skirmish > create new hometown and the problem is : the hometown in TWC DLC don't exist. Perhaps I did something wrong (?) Help me, please.

When I tried to extract it,, it says "You need to have the following volume to continue extraction C:\Users\recom\Downloads\Age.of.Empires.III.Complete.Collection.MULTi5.part2.rar " (I use Winrar btw)
Thats normal.There is no fix! Just play TAD as it includes all the other 3 because you have the game files of the other two installed already. TAD can NOT run on its own. So just play TAD if you want all the DLC features. You can also play over Gameranger which uses your IP/lLocal LAN link. I tihnk you can also play over ENSAMBLE ONLINE built into the game it self since its an old game! So you have lots of options! Hope that helps!

anyone plz help, i have a habit of copying game files after installation to a hard drive to make the game portable. In this case, i copy the files from the installation directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Studios\Age of Empires III - Complete Collection" to my hard drive. Then i usually uninstall the game from my computer, to save space. So now i have the game in my hard drive but not my computer. But when i try to open the game, i keep getting an initialization error (it worked fine when i installed it, but not after i copied it onto the hard drive and uninstalled it.) When i open age3.exe i get the DATAP.BAR error When i open age3x.exe i get the DATAPX.BAR error When i open age3y.exe i get the DATAPY.BAR error I have all the directx, msxml and DirectPlay components installed I am guessing the problem has to do something with the registry entries, which are not common with most modern games, hence making them playable even after copying them to a hard drive or USB. If anyone has a fix for this, would you mind posting the solution here, thanks in advance.
Extraction Error - Error extracting IGG-Age.Of.Empires.III.Complete.Collection.Multi5.iso ??? It extracted the README file and the two internet links just fine but nothing else, Do I have to redownload it? Also I was never asked to enter a password to Unrar it.
Hey, is there any way to make both DLCs work at the same time? Even if I launch Asian Dynasties it doesn't seem to recognize the first DLC, and same if I launch War Chiefs, second DLC doesn't appear.
copy the crack over from the virtual disk. created by deamon tools they are .exe files to the game file directory. Simple match the icons. hope it helps
I have a problem. I installed the game. I copied 4 files in prophet folder. And I now I would like to paste them, but I think it's not the good place. I tried to paste them on lecteur-CD ROM but I had the following message "espace insuffisant sur AOE3 complete. 32,6 Mo supplémentaires requis pour la copie des fichiers". Someone could help me?
Daemon Tools and others create a disk with only enough space to suffice. As you can't remove files from it, you can't add anything beacuse it creates just enough space to fit the instalator and the crack folder. And if you meant you cang from it, first clean up your disk C, or D, chance is it's' just full.

it works fine for my windows 10 laptop last year just "initialization failed" but it fixed (go to Start - Control Panel - Program & Features - Turn window features on or off - Legacy Components select DirectPlay...done. but now once i proceed to my next laptop for the purpose of multiplayer.. it says "d3dx9_25.dll is missing.."

If the game is asking you to put in a product key: Copy the files from the "PROPHET" folder found in the .iso to the "bin" folder of the game installation folder (ie. C:\Games\AoE3\bin) If you are getting an initialization failed on Windows 10 and possibly Windows 8:
Go to the start menu and search for "windows features", open "Turn Windows features on or off"
Click the box to the left of "Legacy Components".
Expand that category and make sure it also selected "DirectPlay".
Click Okay.
Run the game from the shortcuts that the installation created. (You may need to restart the computer but I did not on Windows 10).

Constantly asks for a product key and i know a lot of the comments say to copy the prophet files but copy it where? i have the main folder containing everything, then the prophet folder, setup, icon, and setup bins. And with how many comments there are about it, i think we are all either lost or its not working.

I saw the article about the crack and I tried, I opened the .ISO file and the Prophet but we can not move any file in the .ISO is marked "read only" so how do ?

IF YOU CANT FIND THE VALUES IN YOUR REGISTRY THEN YOU NEED TOif you dont find pid and digital go onto this site https://www.regfiles.net/registry/age-of-empires-iii-the-asian-dynasties-registry and personalize your registry, add a cd key and the path to where you installed aoe on your system, then downaload and run it and edit your actual registries. Then just do the steps above
