Okay guys and girls you all want to know as i have seen this before some times the short cut don't work so you got to find the file that is the cracked folder copy and past all files into it or copy and past those files into the main game folder then it should work if you have downloaded any games from here you will always see one folder that has a different name then the rest so either copy and past from that folder to the main game folder or copy and past all files into the other folder then click the exe in that folder and should run
i have encountered the same problem too, i dont know how to fix it. when I opened the rome 2 shortcut on my desktop and same as in it's game directory, it just said "This is not the .exe you are looking for" and its apperantly a dummy file
that's just some bad luck mate. you'll haft to re-download the game but make sure you virus security is off (like firewall or something) because it'll detect it as a bad file so it'll get rid of it immediately. extract and you should be good to go. it's ether that or the files just don't come with steam.api.dll
if you could find a way to get to where your game was installed there should be a launcher file there for you to play the game. e.g: C:\Program Files (x86)\game (if using 64bit) (if 32bit then it's just) C:\Program Files\game

hey i downloaded it did everything and when i finish the setup and run the game it says dummy file this is not the .exe your looking for it also didnt ask for a password when i extracted the files
Did you use Daemon tools to mount the iso don't use winrar to exract those iso files and try disabling your antivirus, if none of this works go to the request section and ask IGG - Games for help Also i am still downloading this game do you know what is the game version, should be in top right corner It didn't need a password when I download using the mega links
but everytime i try 2 launch game it brings me to steam page

Reason: Steam recognises it as a game they sell along with the steam.api.dll.
