Hey to anyone that cant get it to work after adding the patch,this is what I did -right click the mm.exe and open compatibility -enable "run this program in compatibility mode for Win Xp(service pack 2) -enable "run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" -make a shortcut for it, then right click on the shortcut, properties, look for the "Target" option and after the quotes add this: -novid (with the space) Play the game and change your graphics settings to whatever you desire. Once you save that you can disable the"run this program in compatibility mode" and run in "640 x 480 screen"
Finally solved the libraly bug; for my pc First download the patch 1.02 in moddb, and the NOCD(crack) in other site; Install and put crack; add in the shortcut target(in properties) and after the ...mm" -dxlevel 90 -width 1920 -height 1080 -novid (with spaces) find the binkw32.dll in bin folder and copy & paste in the mm executable folder. Do not put compatibilty mod or 640x480(doesnt work for me)

I downloaded game from your torrent site and game crashes after intro ends. I tried comp. mode for Xp, Windows 7...It simply crashes like crazy. This is beautiful game and i bet you guys can share some patch, or something? God bless
Tried your resources they will also not work, it took away the cant load "something" I added -novid to target with space so now I don't get the intro all I do get is a quick glimpse at the Might and Magic Dark Messiah screen after a split second it goes dark and I am on my desktop I have a R 5 3600x 16GB Ripjaws and a good enough for this game GPU. I use it with Win XP service pack 2 and 3 compatibility with 640 x 480 screen resolution as per other recommendations here, I have used the crak and patch of both your and those that come packed with the iso no luck I am on Win 10 pro and I have heard Win 10 does screw with pirate games but i doubt that is the issue here if you have any ideas I owned the game disk years ago but loned it to a friend and never got it back I wanted to enjoy the nostalgia so I came here but after performing some Google Fu i have read that even the legit copy gives the same issues to other interweebers please fren if you not too busy and have any other ideas it will be appreciated also a different issue I tend to get 0xc0000007b errors from alot of these games on IGG even with DX and C++ everything checked and installed etc the error still persists - Thanks for the assist pardon my English but I must add this is my best attempt at writing English for more then a few sentences and I am impressed lel
Doesn't even launch lel. It launched when I first installed it, then crashed and now it won't launch. Nothing works. Dunno how people manage to run this on windows 10
I did the same as you did but in reverse order, and my sistem is windows 10, and remember that the -novid needs to have a space after the mm", so it should stay (mm" -novid), and i downloaded it just today
got it, but it's doing the crash even though I ran the patch. thing is, i don't know where the crack files from 'Bin' go and it says library or client error or something like that
The crack files go where the game has been downloaded, the patch file needs to be run thare as well. If you don't know whare the game has been downloaded just right click on the shortcut from your desktop and select "open file location"

hi my path for the game is "D:\Games\Dark.Messiah.Of.Might.And.Magic\Dark Messiah of Might and Magic\mm.exe", i tryed to put the -novid at the end of it in the "target" section from the shortcut proprieties but it says that the target box is not valid
Neither works for me either... I patched it and did that -novid thing on the mm.exe's shortcut but it just crashes right after the first dark messiah splash screen..
