What I did was 1. Mount Disc 1 and run setup, 2. When asked for disc 2 I unmounted disc 1 and mounted disc 2, 3. when it got stuck on sysSE I opened task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and ended the Uninstall task, 4. In disc 2 I went to packs and dragged everything to the installed game's packs folder, 5. if asked to replace any of the files, do not. The game then booted for me.
For me, the installation also stopped at SysSE.GPK. The sollution i found was to close the installation, open the mounted disk at the explorer, disk 2 in the case, go to Overflow>SCHOOLDAYS HQ>Packs and mannualy move the SysSE.GPK file, the Voice files and any other lacking file to the Packs folder, that is in the folder where the game have been installed, C>Overflow by defalt. Have worked to me so far. Have a nice play!

Sekai is canon heroine. Skip over all options when prompted and you will know why. It's almost like following your heart...and for those who are having issues cleanly installing it, try mounting the iso and changing the setup.exe compatibility to Windows vista, do it with both discs. It installed sysSE with no issues for me.
Hi, i have problem with installation, like every time when i wanna instal game it's stuck in the middle, and says that "Please insert Disk 2." (I've downloaded 1 & 2 parts so i have everything)

Hey, I did what the pinned post told me to do and the game works, but it only works on windowed mode because the game crashes and stutters when in fullscreen mode, and the game seems to run on a lower resolution. Have I done something wrong here?

Seems like the game really can't run on full screen. I suggest playing the game on "window" only. And also, I mounted it using Daemon tools. Power Iso just seems to corrupting the file every time I mount it.

after I mount disk 2 and continue the installation it stops at 10409 Mb. You can't cancel the installation too. I tried to play it with as much as I have installed but there is no voice. Please help me moderator.
it may be due to file corruption, you can try to download everything again. but first it is recommended, ask winrar or the program you use, to verify their integrity

I usually use WinCDEmu to mout the iso file as a disc to the pc and you need to mount the disc 1 and install it with using setup.exe after a few minutes you will need to eject the disc 1 iso file and mount the disc 2 iso file and there should be done. But i currently having the black screen problem when start playing the game.....

Menu/UI: 10/10 | Artwork: 10/10 | Plot: 7/10 | Sound: 10/10 | Choices: 11/10 You all may have heard of this title since its anime is has acquired a title of one of the worst animes ever. However, I urge you to not pass the same face-value judgment on this title. While it is a slice-of life romantic drama, and thus the plot isn't overly complex, it's still a compelling journey. This VN is best categorized as a nakige, considering some of the choices you can make to add more emotional upheaval. This visual novel presents itself with animated sequences instead of regular still character sprites. Certain scenes have more animation than other, such as sex scenes. To that end, it's a bit like an actual anime and that was thoroughly charming, driving me to play Shiny Days (the prequel to this entry in the Days series). Emotional events are convincing, and the daily life of the cast is mostly believable. Some of their actions, especially in routes with bad endings, is rather unrealistic but if you are willing to humor the fact that this is fiction, it's acceptable. SPOILERS Makoto has great potential to be a good person in this VN, unlike the utter douchebag he was in the anime depiction. You initially are forced to be swayed between Kotonoha and Sekai, but you can just choose to dedicate wholeheartedly dedicate yourself to one of the girls. You can also get harem endings where you appeal to both of them and get the Two Lovers ending, or a different harem ending where Makoto is left alone and unfulfilled, just having sex with random girls.. The bad endings are a little bit of a stretch, but saying that people would not kill for love is a lie, because they would. Love drives people to do all sorts of things, and in School Days it is no exception. If the player chooses to make Makoto manipulate and cheat either of these girls, they reap what they sow. Makoto could be stabbed by Sekai in the To My Child ending. Or, you could watch as Kotonoha kills herself in front of Sekai and Makoto in the Forever ending, damning them to never be together again. While the suggestion that a teenage girl like Sekai would let her crush sexually practice on her isn't that far-fetched, or that a girl would use sex as a way to maintain the interest of the boy she loves, it's still a rather concerning thing to think about. The actions of these students are sometimes reprehensible, but as with any visual novel the player can choose to go down these dark paths of their own free will. SPOILERS END Overall School Days explores the concept of young adult love, relationships, drama, and discord quite well even if some parts are exaggerated in severity for fictional appeal. I recommend this VN a lot as I enjoyed the immersion offered by not only having frequent choices, but being thrust into the anime-like setting. Final verdict? 8/10. If you like romance, emotional drama, and slice of life, give this a whirl.
i feel so stupid wasting time figuring how to install this game, while simply moving the packs in the same folder and running the .exe file lets you play immediately like what the guys below said >...<
I've been reading and cannot find a fix, when I launch the game it black screens for a second and goes unresponsive and crashes, everytime. I downloaded the patch and it still didn't work.
Thanks for the reply. Anyway, I found a solution to my problem. All I did was disable the antivirus while installing it and playing with it. I hope this could also work for others as well.
I downloaded the game from http://pcgamestorrents.com. After installing the game, everything up to main menu is doing fine; there is audio and video. When I started new game, everything is black screen but with audio. How do I fix this? Can someone help?

Alright guys, after a few hours of messing around, I finally got it working. I downloaded the torrent version from http://pcgamestorrents.com but I think the files should be the same There should be a disc-1 and a disc-2. If yes, then follow these steps,
Use daemon tools or PowerISO or whichever tool you can find that can mount ISO files.
Mount disc-1 and start the setup.
After it's completed halfway, the setup will ask for disc-2. So eject/disconnect disc-1 and mount disc-2 in the same way.
Press OK in the installer. Then the installation might go smoothly.
But if the installer gets stuck on "SysSe.GPK", just click on the blue progress bar a few times, that should fix the bug. For you, the installation process might be over at this point. But for me, there were a few more errors. If starting the game gives you the error "wmvcore.dll is missing", then follow the next steps.
Go to http://dll4free.com and download wmvcore.dll (32-bit version) and paste it in the installation directory (ie. where the game is located).
Now the error will be "wmasf.dll is missing", so download this file from the same website as earlier and paste it in the same location as wmvcore.dll ie. the game directory.
Right click on the School Days HQ.exe and change the compatibility settings to Windows Vista Service Pack 2.
Start the game. Enjoy :) Oh, and if you want it in full screen, then first change the aspect ratio (in settings) to widescreen before change the window mode to fullscreen, otherwise you'll get a black screen.
Edit: the game doesn't work on windows 10. On windows 7, you need to uninstall certain updates for it to work properly. The game works best on windows XP (32-bit). If that's your OS, you won't get a single error while playing.
I personally downloaded it on http://igg-games.com and installed it the proper way (mount disk 1, setup, mount disk 2, some click on blue bar for SysSe.GPK) then launched the game and everything is fine. It works properly on windows 10 without even putting a special compatibility setting.
Game not working don't waste your time. Wish they would add this one Steam and have an link for the patch. Rather do it the Nekopara way at this point.

Seriously this visual novel is fucked up, I don't know why but I find myself so sensible at this, I watched the anime and now played the game, I first did the Kotonoha ending wich was (maybe) the best ending we could get in this anime because happy end for Kotonoha and Makoto in the Hotel but Sekai finishes raped by Sanagawa and alone later with her friends (phew) and I'm half at a "Sekai bond quest" and this is much much harder than the first game I did, plus the musics in this game are deep especially that calm and creepy song when one character reminds things in his memories, I always have the impression that this character is going to kill himself, weird am I, huh ? When you extract from part 1, it will move on to part 2 when it is finished with part 1 without needing any action, so it may seem like you only used part 1, but winrar used both.

The game is working correctly but seems like i can't load the game, after i saved then load it says "script engine version does'nt match" did i miss something? if i have to play without saving it would be a pain in the butt.
To the uploaders: You should replace that version with the no-DRM one. Much easier installation without errors. Contains just the setup.exe and 6 bin files. so, we must extract only part1.rar, or should we rename part7.rar so that the entire thing can be extracted? as far as I can see only part7.rar contains disk 2.
Just a question. I managed to mount the disks and add disk 2's content to disk one fairly easily. The game runs through the schooldays exe file well enough, but as you would might expect running it through the exe without downloading it properly via setup exe makes it crash a lot. the setup exe still asks for disk 2 despite disk 2's content being available. Is the something I failed to transfer or perhaps something to be reworked in the setup ini so that I can properly download it and hopefully experience less crashes? or do I continue using the schooldays exe and attempt to save through the crashes. Sorry if the solution seems obvious, I simply couldn't find an answer elsewhere.

Ok here is what I did , simplest fix and surprised that it worked. I basically just loaded up the disks but instead of installing , which didnt seem to work for me , I copied stuff from disk one and pasted in C drive , then in disk 2 pasted the packs data into the packs folder from disk one. Voila ! Insta game playing start
nevermind... i posted about this problem in a Facebook group about programming and someone actually helped me.. the game works perfectly now xD.. tho it doesn't look like it supports full screen display :(

When trying to DL part 7 from Google Drive, it goes to me having to login my google account instead of it building a link to the google drive location for part 7, like it did with the other 9 parts. I had this Problem on the first Time too. And a little bit later i have find out how to fix it. You need to Copy from the 2 iso Disk the Files of the Packs Folder and must paste them in the Disk 1 iso Packs Folder. And thats it.
People are trying to copy packs from disc 2 to the ACTUAL disc 1. You can do this with some workarounds but it's better to just mimic the installer and just copy both discs to the same folder on your HDD/SSD and merge. Quick and easy.
