Every time i launch the game it opens steam, brings me to the game page and crashes immediately after loading. what do?
EDIT: Looks like the game works fine when i launch it into safemode tho
EDIT 2: It turns out that my graphics card does not support dx12, hence the crash. however this new update was supposed to switch to dx11 if it detects your gpu not supporting it which it doesn't do for some reason. if you run into the same issue, what you can do is force it to run under dx11 which is pretty easy. all you have to do is make a shortcut for automation launcher, right click on the shortcut and then go to properties. there you have to add -dx11 in the target.
How do you install the mods?? I've been trying installing with steam workshop downloader, then create a file name with the exact's zip's name, extract it and leave it in UE424\AutomationGame\Mods... None the less i t wont work

Edit: yes okay found the problem for version 4.2 the campaign was deactivated reason according to the developer too many errors were reported there are 2 possibilities you get version 4.1 somehow or wait until the developers unlock it again and IGG Games uploads the update again

I found how to start the game. Go to the (Game Directory)/UE424/AutomationGame/Binaries/Win32 and run the "AutomationGame-Win32-Shipping" with administrator!

02.08.2020 - Didnt know there was an update until i noticed the new name on the file's. Should probably buy this game. Edit: When transferring files, do know that the pak-files in: (c-disk here):\Automation.02.08.2020.part1.rar\Automation.02.08.2020\Automation\UE424\AutomationGame\Content\Paks\ is very big and might give your .zip program an error when transferring.
Hello, The screenshots are very old and date back so long.. years, the UI has been reworked and the game isn't the same anymore, update em' Also, there was a major update (v4.1) released on the 13th, it has been more than a week, please upload it!
It looks like you need to update something from windows, c++, or something around those terms. I don't know much of the technical side of this, you should copy that error and paste it into google and see if someone had the same problem and how to solve it. Good luck!
AnyTime, be aware that discord can be sketchy, there are places but i wouldn't trust a source that seems odd (The Sites also have CS)(And Https Protection, along with isolation), Also personally never had 1 problem with the 2 links provided btw, 95% of the time the sites work i requested a mod and an hour later it was up(little long but worth the security) The sites use usually use a server or a direct connect(For You), you can even look at the code Via C++ or something. bc they those 2 dont work why do you think there is a discord server about it also our server is more efficient then that since its all mods in one file and you dont have to copy no url and then pray it works and lets you download it and we also got the newest version of automation there
Yes i am aware but at the same time I don't want every mod in one file, it's messy and can be space costly on a laptop, or low storage, when i download a mod im looking for a couple not all files in one (in this case its a maybe for me) I don't want 30-220 mods in one file doesn't seem organized very well and sweet, but I'll keep using a url pull script or a workshop Downloader, even ckan from ksp (has and had alot of mods) Even that was unorganized, ill check it out but I still think a "url pull script" or a workshop downloader and im not to sure if yah know but discords virus protection is very poor so I wouldn't trust much coming from a source id rather it be directly from steam, or a page that i can look and break down
The game doesn't work, I tried in DX10, Safemode, to clear the saves/cache but nothing works. The game launches but it's impossible to do anything, for example, when I click on Car Designer, all my old cars have disappeared and if I try in create a new one, after choosing the body I can't go to the next panel (the year is grayed out, filters don't work...). This answer is NOT related to your game BUT a general answer : when you encounter an error, search for it (google, bing, qwant, whatever) if you google "VCRUNTIME140_1.dll" you find it means C++ is not installed. In some games you find a subdirectory named "REDIST" it means redistributable. Go in that directory and install everything. There's a workaround about that, you have to add it to your drive, create a copy of it and than download that copy.. There's a tutorial on youtube if you want

whenever i export part 2, it literally got stuck for me for a couple minutes, and started moving after it asked to replace files. lol. hoping this works though. (edit) oh god it says it's gonna take 2 hours help it said it was gonna take a day, and it maxed out my cpu. the minimum space on the actual game on the workshop says 3 gb. what? (edit 2) it worked. gonna try and export a car and see if it crashes or not. (edit 3 and final) it worked fine, just had to wait a long time.
This version (190527) or repack is broken. My game crashes at random moments after 5, 10 minutes or when i try to save or export car(only 1 attemt was succesfull). All 3 previous versions that I downloaded before were working fine.

Hi i am on a 32 bit os pc with a 64 bit processor and when I try to extract the game it gives me an error and yes I am using the latest WinRAR but not daemon tools
Is there something odd going on with the new (190527) patch? I requested an update. Twice. And saw a couple other people requesting it as well, and yet it's not even being acknowledged...
on a 7200 rpm HDD it took my computer (i5 4570, 8gb DDR3) about a minute to load the game, and on my trashtop (i5 3340m, 4gb DDR3, 7200 rpm) it took about 3 minutes.i dont know the specs of your computer but if it takes longer than 5 minutes thats probably your computer, not the game.
The devs of the game announced they would release a public patch soon (on Friday) based off the current most recent open beta patch, just a heads up Edit: the open beta branch received a hotfix today (friday 5/17) but they're delaying the update on the public branch due to bugs
use smartsteamemu 1.4.3 and add the v16 dlc id and name into the dlc manager tab and point to the right exectuable(not the launcher) and there you have it.
