And I also included a .reg file that adds all the necessary stuff Emran talked about, though I still recommend you read my ReadMe.txt, as all the important instructions are there, and if you read it, it ensures that everything works first time running. I used FoC Launcher from here: https://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-empire-at-war-forces-of-corruption/downloads/foc-launcher , and it just worked!
For those who can't open FOC, this solution worked for me: First, locate the "Star Wars Empire at War" directory. I extracted it at: C:\Games\Star Wars Empire at War NOTE: ALL FOLLOWING REGISTRY IS BASED ON YOUR DIRECTORY. COPY EVERYTHING WITHOUT QUOTES. Next, press the Windows key and the R key at the same time to open the run dialog. Type "regedit" without the quotes and click OK. Within the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > WOW6432Node > LucasArts > Star Wars Empire at War > 1.0 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > WOW6432Node > LucasArts > Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption > 1.0 The key " LucasArts > Star Wars Empire at War > 1.0 " LucasArts > Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption > 1.0 " and might not exist so you have to make them. To make them right click WOW6432Node and choose " New > Key " and name it LucasArts. After you make " LucasaArts " or if it exists, right click on it and make 2 new keys named "Star Wars Empire at War" & "Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption". Then individually right click those and make key named " 1.0 ". (all without quotes) It should look like this: "LucasArts"
"Star Wars Empire at War"
"1.0" "Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption" "1.0" NEXT: Click on the "1.0" under "Star Wars Empire at War" Add the following Items (Right click hover over new and select "String Value"), and change the Data Value appropriately (Right click on the newly created item, select "Modify", and type into the data value section): -"ExePath" "C:\Games\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\sweaw.exe" -"InstallPath" "C:\Games\Star Wars Empire at War" NOW: Add the following Items (Right click hover over new and select "DWORD (32-bit) Value"), and change the Data Value appropriately (Right click on the newly created item, select "Modify", and type into the data value section. make sure Hexadecimal is selected): -"EAWGold" "1323fb3" -"installed" "1" -"Revision" "2779" FINALLY: do the same this in "1.0" under "Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption" "String Value" -"ExePath" "C:\Games\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\swfoc.exe" -"InstallPath" "C:\Games\Star Wars Empire at War" "DWORD (32-bit) Value" -"EAWGold" "1323fb3" -"installed" "1" -"Revision" "2774" DISCLAIMER: I don't know a much about the Registry Editor. Some of these items may not be necessary but my game is working now. I hope this helps.
Attention: this version is from GOG and dont works for the modern MODs, because Petroglyph make many update from 2016 and so on that implement infrastructures for modification, sadly only on steam; this november of 2023 dev have also update the engine from 32bit to 64. I try to ask an update if possible here, dunno if cracker have worked on this, i found only a site that have Steam version but the links are down.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're having issues running the game, please, PLEASE, do read @makoboy03:disqus and @lD0Ll:disqus 's notes and tutorials on how to play the game properly. Emrans' first. Do his steps, then install the EAW Launcher off ModDB, and launch your games via that, this fixed the issue for me and I can happily enjoy SWFOC after trying for months now, big thanks to these guys and others who've posted useful tutorials
tutorial how to install mods: empire at war remake, thrawn's and other mods : create folder "Mods" in c:/Games/StarWarsEmpireAtWar/corruption, extract mod and place in "Mods", create ".bat" file in c:/Games/StarWarsEmpireAtWar/corruption , how to create .bat file? create .txt file, put this text :swfoc MODPATH=Mods\mod folder name and save it as .bat, click 2 times on file fall of the republic: you need to copy all fall of the republic files ( data, modinfo.....) and place in c:/games/StarWarsEmpireAtWar/corruption and launch swfoc.exe
For those having trouble running this (specially FoC):
Follow instructions by Emran via RegEditor, this will enable you to run FoC.
Extract mod folders into "corruption/mods" (create the folder). Mods can be downloaded via nexus, moddb, steam, etc. Use steamworkshop downloader to get steam mods. They have a code for the tampermonkey extension that makes it easier to use.
I suggest downloading Empire at War Mod Launcher via moddb, extract that in your main SWEAW folder and run mods or the main game via that. It also adds a registry key to what Emran posted.
So, people say this is the Steam version so it should be able to run the Fall of the Republic mod, but after installing the mod it doesnt seem to work, i placed the mod folder inside corruption\Mods and created a .bat file with the following line: swfoc MODPATH=Mods\FalloftheRepublic the .bat opens the game with the Thrawn's Revenge loading screen and crashes soon after, if this is really the steam version can someone help me? i dont know if im doing something wrong.
Ok, so, The game itself works, but I can't seem to get FOC to work even after checking Emran's crap and I've tried downloading Awakening of the Rebellion (mod), but it isn't working, it'll open up then close. Help?

yeah need to add reg keys i installed the gog version and edited it to point to the path of this version and exported it and saved it to gdrive for later pcs im gonna get
When i start forces of corruption, happends this: Unable to locate the installation path of Star wars Empire at War. Cannot Launch the Force of Corruption Expansion! EDIT: FIXED
i think the Problem with FOC is that the game Empire at war isnt setup in the computer cause when its downloaded its the full game but its not registered like setups do
Create a folder named "Mods" at C:\Games\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption Extract the mod you downloaded and paste it at C:\Games\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods Then you have 3 choices to launch the mods. 1 and 2 are recommended.
Use the mod launcher that comes with the mod.
Create your own shortcut as .bat launcher. From moddb: While in the main FOC game directory, create a notepad file and paste the following command line within swfoc MODPATH=Mods\mod folder name For Empire at War, put the mod files in your EAW mods directory. Then in the notepad paste sweaw MODPATH=Mods\mod folder name Save it as a .bat file. For the sake of simplicity you should give the batch file the same name as the Mod it is for. It's worth noting you can rename a particular mods folder to whatever you want, so long as the command line referencing it has the same name. After saving, you'll notice a new file in your directory in addition to the original text document that you just created. You can delete the text file as we only need the batch file. You can create as many batch files as you need depending on how many mods you have. You should keep them in your EAW/FOC directory. I recommend creating a short cut to the batch file itself, or your game directory.
Launch the mod from in game. This will restart the game with mods. Not recommended.
uh so im using launcher, got mods rise of the mandalorians and republic at war in mods folder but its not working, it launches normal vanilla game, tried with both EaW and FoC but both still are launched as normal games edit: fixed it, game could not register mods with spaces so just had to put name together such as RiseoftheMandalorian instead of one with spaces

Is this right? it doesn't work (EDIT) i fixed it! I have removed the Star.Wars.Empire.at.War.Gold.Pack folder, but now i have a new problem: Forces of Corruption requires Empire at War v1.05 in order to run. Please check http://www.LucasArts.com for game updates
I dont have the LucasArts in my registry :// can i just create that folders and values? or i need some more values? UPDATE: If you dont have any LucasArts folder in registry, it works when you just make one and do what Emran was talking about, thanks man
Hey man, I just want to thank you about your tutorial, it works really well for me. I'm literally an idiot for computer language, so you should be proud that you just successfully taught a chimpanzee how to edit regedit. Thanks again!
Please update to steam version, I understand the fan base is small but honestly charging 20 bucks for a game we already own is kinda messed up, since we have to rebuy on steam for the newest version.
What he wants is the Steam version, the only one that has been recently updated, the game is the same but supports quality mods that just crash in the old version, also the save system was fixed to work with the mods, that other way ends corrupting the gamesaves. My advice is just to buy it, only the content of the WorkShop and ModDb worth it, plus you can still use the multiplayer (was restored for Steam).
I opened the setup, agreed and clicked install, and when that happened it asked me to find some file idk, and it wouldn't let me continue unless the file was found, the game might be missing a file
So i have a problem to install mods for F.O.C. and also in normal game. My isssue is i can drop it into the mod folder but this doesn t work. I know its nothing regular but help would be great.
Can you maybe add the official patches as "Update" files? Because some mods require the patches and i can't patch the game because everytime it says the following:"Star wars Empire At War not found. Please reinstall the game from the original CD-ROM and try again" Keep in mind that these are official patches which are Installers and no way of telling it where your game is; Atleast from my perspective. Patch 1 link: http://empireatwar.filefront.com/file/Official_105_Patch;66509 Patch 2 link: http://empireatwar.filefront.com/file/Forces_of_Corruption_Patch_Update;73651
hey didnt i write here before i told you links are dead even mega links not working please update and please update lego star wars force awakens mega links to please
I screwed my installation... My setup did somethin so it closed itself and i cannot use the fucking code anymore... So, i can't installl it. nvm, i was stupid....
I give you guys link but i can't confirm that is still working because i have Windows 10 and game dont wont to run on this system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leDIWMDp5kc
Have you tried running the executable file in compatability mode? I have Windows 10 installed on one of my towers, I'll see if I can get it to work at some point.
Hello, As soon as I start the game, he said: "An exeption has occured See_logfile.txt and _except.txt for details.Press RETRY or CANCEL to exit to debug and when I press the button on the RETRY button the game.. crash. thank you for helping me
Iv done that but i can only launch Starwars Empire At War not the expansion, the expansion still says emulator detected even with he crack Ps you guys ROCK \m/

Install instructions included in the download.
You'll also need 7zip: https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
And I also included a .reg file that adds all the necessary stuff Emran talked about, though I still recommend you read my ReadMe.txt, as all the important instructions are there, and if you read it, it ensures that everything works first time running.
I used FoC Launcher from here: https://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-empire-at-war-forces-of-corruption/downloads/foc-launcher , and it just worked!

Do I just have to attempt a reinstall?
Extract the mod you downloaded and paste it at C:\Games\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods

From moddb:

Thats my speculation.
You're a genius.
(EDIT)
i fixed it! I have removed the Star.Wars.Empire.at.War.Gold.Pack folder, but now i have a new problem:
Forces of Corruption requires Empire at War v1.05 in order to run. Please check http://www.LucasArts.com for game updates
UPDATE:
If you dont have any LucasArts folder in registry, it works when you just make one and do what Emran was talking about, thanks man
I'm literally an idiot for computer language, so you should be proud that you just successfully taught a chimpanzee how to edit regedit. Thanks again!
My advice is just to buy it, only the content of the WorkShop and ModDb worth it, plus you can still use the multiplayer (was restored for Steam).
My isssue is i can drop it into the mod folder but this doesn t work.
I know its nothing regular but help would be great.
Please reinstall the game from the original CD-ROM and try again"
Keep in mind that these are official patches which are Installers and no way of telling it where your game is; Atleast from my perspective.
Patch 1 link:

Patch 2 link:

The google drive links work if you're reading this.
Can someone help me? :/
