Whew! The last link in the list is the only one that is still alive.
I have this insanely addicting and fun game on my old DS, but I am sure as with Puzzle Quest 1 and especially Puzzle Quest Galactrix the PC version is going to be far superior and more polished without having to cut corners and jam it into a tiny flashRAM cartridge, not to mention being able to play it on a 42" screen instead of a teensy 3 inch dual-screen.
It's a shame the developer went tits up, I would have loved to see this series evolve further, and I am happy to throw money at a developer in that case, but since they are defunct, I can only thank you for providing a way to still get this gem!

Agreed. PQ1 was so addicting. Somewhat recently, the "expansion" for it was released (unofficial) which made me play through it again for the umpteenth time. PQ2 was good (though grindy - maybe impatient since PQ1 was a bit grindy at the end). Galactrix was... okay. Sometimes I wish companies would stick with the same formula and add to it - but I also understand people want different, different, different all the time too.

Yeah, Galactrix was saddled with some horrible buggy and unfair mechanics (nothing like watching 5 unwanted combos play out with 10 seconds left to hack a leapgate) but was tied to a fantastic space trading/combat engine and environment. Add a more traditional combat mechanic in place of match-3 puzzlers and you could have a damn good 2-d Space Roguealike without changing anything else about the universe of the game, it's lore or even the main threat.
That aside, I love all 3 games. Here's hoping for the future!
