Wow, this game takes almost 100GB space, quite a lot. Anyway, this game version doesn't have the Expansion that gives us the Single Player mode and there isn't a single server that we can join. So it's basically unplayable until it gets the Expansion.
No singleplayer??? According to the steam page, there is suppose to be singleplayer included... unless this version is an older version before the singleplayer patch was added.
Frankly, I just stopped playing it after a taste in its 'survival' mechanic for a just few hours, which is by far way horrendous - but, in any case, big thanks for the information...
The one thing that turned me off from playing it was that stupid fish diet. I kept dying because of the lack of therein and didn't know why. Like you would die not eating fish in real life. Stupid idea to incorporate that in.
Yes. Not getting the nutrients that you would get from eating fish, would eventually kill you. Especially in times of piracy, when they didn't have pills and other substitutes. It's really super-basic knowledge, you know.

--This Game, as well as ARK, I suggest installing & running CleanMem Mini. Both ARK and Atlas suffer from a nice memory leak and CleanMem will klear that klogged up Memory/RAM, freeing up as much as 30%.
Okay guys, I figured out how to fix the problem that freezes the game on the menu. The solution is to run the game directly without using the launcher. Here's how to do it : 1- Go to the location of the launcher file (normally in WindowC:\Program Files (x86)\AtlasGame) 2- Go to Game Data, ShooterGame, Binaries, Win64 C:\Program Files (x86)\AtlasGame\AtlasGameData\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64 3- There must be an executable called AtlasGame.exe, that's the game, run it in administrator mode 4- And there you go :)
--Seems to be working. Shocked to see the bootleg servers I guess. Functions smoother then the 1st ARK crack. I've yet to test the ServerGridEditor to make my own Game but I have it in mind. But yeah, new "skin"..still feels like ARK and not a new game TBH. UI is the only thing that feels sorta different.
How are people getting past the freezing at the menu? It launches, hangs for a second then it says searching for server but just freezes. I downloaded the torrent version provided and do not see any other files I can launch with Admin like others are saying?
It have an auto updater ... there is couple overpopulated servers but we don't know how big is map grid, different resources are on different islands so pretty useless, it very easy to create your own private server but this stupid ServerGridEditor works only for win 10, game works fine on my win 7.
There is a way to make it Singleplayer mode but we need Maps, only Windows 10 users can use ServerGridEditor. Can anybody share custom exported maps?, there are already plenty tutorials for it. but nobody is sharing damn maps.
ARKTLAS: Grinding Evolved Stay away from this, it's a re-skinned ARK with ten times the grind and the only smidge of fun is in big multiplayer groups... but multiplayer is completely fucked and the servers don't support more than a hundred (I believe) players in a single map "quadrant".

It works because I gave their asses 40 bucks for it what now seems like eons ago back before there was all the free shit there is now and what you could get was just plain'ol heavily bastardized. This game is just an expansion for ARK that they wanted to make into a standalone so they didn't have to include it in the Season pass. It even has all the ARK DLC's folders included in the release =p

ATLAS is the same as the ARK when it was released before time, and it needs to be a lot to pass to be what the ARK is now. How much I follow is not so bad if you have your server and only a few friends on it, because if you are on the official server, the lag and all problems start if you have over 2K on that server. The only thing that irritates me is that the copy of ARK and the building of bases is a problem such as ARK. Fortunately, there is a S + mode in ARK and that's good. I would recommend that you wait for a couple of months to a year to see what is where ATLAS is. And, as far as it is concerned, whether it will collapse as some promising No Man Sky. I do not believe it, because they also talked about ARK, so ARK is where it is, it is still one of the good games that are pleased to play.

if you have a controller, you can use the thumbsticks to go down one selection further than exit, press 'A' and it will bring you to a menu where you can play singleplayer.

don't pay attention to the bad reviews, it seems to be a great game with good potencial. But take note that the game is in Early Access, so you should check again in 6months/1Year to see if it's worth it. You shouldn't care about it being a dlc of ark.
Well actually you should care if it's a DLC for Ark. I can see why they made it a separate game and I even support that decision. But fact of the matter is it was a DLC and it was planed to be released as DLC. Until they realized they would barely make pocket change off of it thanks to their "season pass" All in all you're right. But once they told me that they've been playing together for almost 7 hours and they're not even a quarter of the way to building the Gallion, that kinda just made me go, "Weeeeell I guess I'll just wait" Also, one of them is having performance issues with it and she's got a $4k PC. And it can definitely handle any game at max settings. I should know seeing as I am the one who built it for her
They're negative because this was originally supposed to be a DLC for Ark and instead they released it as a separate game because most Ark players have the Season pass which means Wild Card wouldn't make any money off this DLC. If you're on the main menu and pressed the down key enough times and press enter you can go straight into a menu ripped right outa Ark
