Current version is 0.91.19 and lots of the upgrades make the game way more playable (both in terms of performance and gameplay wise for stuff like fixed hunger system and whatnot). Time to get with the times. Upgrade to 64bit (4gb RAM is like £30 so don't say you don't have the money). For the PC Gaming industry to evolve we need to ditch 32bit.
Wow. Hate to bust your bubble here, but contrary to what you seem to believe it actually is possible for someone to not have £30 to spend on upgrading their computer to 64-bit. Not everyone has the resources to do that, and other things take priority over such things... for example having food and medicine to, y'know, stay alive and stay healthy. While I do agree that ditching 32-bit is essential to the development of the PC Gaming industry, saying things like "Oh it's only 30 bucks so don't say you don't have the money!" only shows how self-centered and selfish a person can be. On topic: Yes, Kenshi only works in 64-bit. It used to support 32-bit but support for it was dropped as more things were added due to stability concerns. You need a 64-bit OS to be able to play.
sr for late ! , first you have to wait the game for loading , after that everything will oke, as the guy said above whenever you move your camera far away it will show loading and i recommend X 1 speed for reduce lag, when it finish just play as normal, good luck my friend ! :D
Lower terrain, field of view and other settings. Game is still in beta, and screen loading is not optimized when moving camera far away. It is normal, no matter what PC u've got.

Well it is just one guy after all, you cant expect him to make the game magically work all of a sudden in one day, besides that, you should upgade to v 0.95.31, there have been improvements and all, and iff you want to be a warlord, you can use the mod 256 recruitment limit from steam or just modify the global settings faction limit to 256 members, 50 squad size and 20 squads But yeah, I get the overall gist of it and no, Swampers and Hounds arent on good terms with one another as you'd find from the barkeepers dislike on them, the Guards properly beaten up someone who just waltz in private property of the computer or yours the Glitching thru walls is properly cuz of objects placed by the in game Construction Set, I tested this with one row of walls built by my team vs one row of walls built by the construction set, result, the guys walked thru the construction set walls whereas my walls that I had a few peeps built had to be walked around it Kidnapping needs alot of work really and besides knowing who did it, they seem to automatically know where you are once you have kidnapped someone or if you simply kidnapped them then dropped them on the ground, that dont matter thought the Rep points have been mostly fixed in .31, I suggest you upgrade your Kenshi to more modern versions instead of sticking to the one you got Btw are the mods you are using from the Nexus? or from steam, if your using mods from steam may I be able to request a few mos that you could upload to a site so I could use them? like Stonger Group Combat? since I feel that the enemies should be stronger, especially the bosses

As for the hounds swampers and guards, i mean they all walked in the middle of the town and just went full on kill mod with one another then the hive gang joined in and then everyone did it was a full on warzone for 10 mins then they just stopped like that like i mean mid fighting just stopped and walked away it felt like the movie purge. As for the walls i mean walls that were in the basic game mainly the swamp lands people will suddenly be under the buildings and can't move. And i agree on everything you said about kidnapping there should be 2 options one for kidnapping and one for a pick up to bring them to a town or bed or something to help them. i think if you buy the actual game you can play it, sadly most sites wont copy the 32bit files too few people have them compared with all the work to copy them! i also have a 32bit thats how i know! last version i have for this game is version 0.67. Im not sure if they stopped copying the files or the dev decided to make it 64bit only from what i read it was made for both and igg decided too much work for too few people as they are always swamped with requests, Ok good luck to ya!

go to nexus mod for outside the steam mods, we cant get mods from steam because u need to buy the game before you can download them. got to kenshi directory there is mods folder there
im playing it for almost 3 days now the game lore overshadow some bugs as of now for me .. i enjoy it. some mechanics need fixing but there are mods for that so you can enjoy it before 1.0
Played it, only wanted to know what the others think of Kenshi and how ready it is before purchase. However, after trying it out for several levels, the game seems buggy still and not ready for 1.0. There are many issues with the game mechanics. Orders not followed, erratic behaviors even when given simple commands, etc...
the games engine doesnt even have mp capability built into it, the dev said outright that putting in mp would require rebuilding the game from scratch.
you can "donate" a game by uploading the game files to a file-sharing site and sending the link via email to igg, he will then check if it has virus, and will try to crack it. a big portion of the rest of the material is adquired as u say, but other games are bought by igg himself and uploaded
IGG has games for download I haven't found on any other similar site. Whether someone buys a game and donates it to a cracker, or they just provide a download link. I've heard people telling me since years that this was the best game in the universe. But everything I see seems so generic, bland and boring... To all people here who tried it, how is it, really? And what does it compare to? For example, would it be comparable to Fallout 2? Wasteland 2? (LOVE those!) It seems that the combat is pause-based like Baldur's Gate? Even after watching some let's play videos, it looks very confusing to me.
In terms of plot F2 is superior in every aspect. In character building is hardcore. (even in graphics). Do you remember Gothic? Same thing in an asian setting. Its not horrible but it will not blown your mind. good for times you dont have anything else to play... just my opinion.
I'd say it' comparable to Fallout 2 and Wasteland 2, but without any real story. It's just one of those games that throws you into its world and lets you do your thing.
The combat is basically real time with a pause. It's got a lot of lore hidden but it's mostly you building your own story, and a lot of hardcore survival. You aren't special, you're just another starving drifter trying to make his cats (the currency in this game, not to be confused with felines). The combat is pretty unique and it's fun for people who like to do their own thing.
It's not an RPG, it's a sandbox game. You do whatever you want in a massive and hostile map. It's up to you to build a base and recruit many people or travel all the world alone as a thief, trader, adventurer... Best game ever.
To me, that's more of an RPG than jumping into someone's shoes and have been given a goal. In fact, I'd argue that games like TES, Witcher and so on are Action-Adventure games, and sandbox styled games like Kenshi are RPG. It's like a DnD RPG, you choose and customize your character. Choose your own lore,
dont bother, takes more than 10 hours of bug abuse that's apparently a "feature" to get past the start, impossible to kill even a animal with 4 people in your party until then, there's no "story", none of the NPCS have lore, within the time i've played there's only been three "unique" npcs that gave me two lines of dialogue.
Kenshi is not a game you can just hop into. It takes some time but it is very rewarding and worth it. 90% of the npcs in the game have lore. Its impossible to kill anything because your men are weak and untrained. You cant expect 4 people who've never held a sword in their life to be able to use it, you need to train them. There is no story as the game is non linear, meaning you create your own story as you go along. The start is always hard untill you progress.

This comment is the embodiment of a person that's been conditioned by the game design of today. That's not bad, I have, in some aspects, also been conditioned to have everything served to me on a plate from lvl 1. That's why Kenshi is a breath of fresh air, because it serves as an actual RPG as opposed to an Action Adventure game. There's no story because you create your own story. You're not the "Dragonborn" or "The Chosen One" you're just you. It's literally in the description of the game. You choose your own fate. Wanna be a farmer? Be a farmer. Wanna make a tribe? Make a tribe. Wanna raid and pillage? Raid and pillage. It's impossible to kill an animal because you don't start with godly stats like in every other game.You're just some person. NPCs have lore, but the map is bigger than Daggerfall's map (which was equivalent to the size of Great Brittain) so you might not have met a lot of NPCs. Example: Daggerfall had 750k+ NPCs, but most were confined to the cities, so you'd hardly see them while venturing out. You start skinny or fat, you get buff over time I think you'd prefer Action Adventure games like Skyrim and Fallout instead of pure DnD RPG like games like this one. Maybe you'd rather enjoy being a premade character like Dragonborn, where your fate is set in stone. Maybe you'd rather enjoy a story where you're told what to do, rather than forging your own. Maybe you'd rather enjoy combat where you can kill everything and everyone at lvl 1. Me personally, I'm bored of those types of games. Run from point A to point B just to go back to Point A, not because I want to, but because I have to.

I think you fail to realize how complex this game is, if you want a streamlined experience with little to no bugs that can be fixed via community mods, play elder scrolls. No need to be passive aggressive when it's a small team working on a huge project. Even Daggerfall had more people working on that than this game has.
There are still bugs in Kenshi and even the dev team said they will continue to fix bugs and stuff like that after release. Currently there are very few game-breaking bugs, and even if that happens you can just import the game. I dont really see where your point comes from, most of those bugs are fixable and rarely occur. If you have any unreported bugs or anything like that you should report it to the devs in the discord server.
I forgive you, and yes it is. The way I see it, small development team, first released game, big aspirations, couple of game breaking bugs is still better than Huge company, releasing their 20+th game, a bug where the game deletes the whole game, big aspirations....of making money.. If you don't know I'm talking about Bethesda, well there you go xD
Hey there all. I have some info regarding the constant issues with installing the game and it does have to do with the AV. there was a recent windows update about two weeks ago that implemented a new malicious software tool that detects and removes any "malware/Viruses" that it finds. I have seen that if you disable your anti-virus when you install the game it does help but when you enable it again it will immediately find the file and remove it. You'll have to go to the notification center for your AV and add the exclusion This normally solves all the issues. Please share across the site, Hope it helps :)
hi i cant start the game. i click kenshi_x64 and it crashes and says seems packaging the crash dump failed miserably. there should be a .dmp file there instead. i go back to the file and there appears a .dmp extended file about crash. it happens the same when i click launcher. whats the solution?
A very interesting and unique game, with a huge world and lots of exploration, unfortunately crippled by an antiquated engine, horrible performance, incessant bugs and a very rudimentary UI.
@Overlord Trying to get help by commenting then just saying "nvm got it to work" WITHOUT telling / writing about how he/she/it actually solved the problem

Did not saw that about the Limb Amputation and Robotic limbs and all, but damn, it'd been very nice and great to show members who have lost their arms or legs in battles or wars or have to sacrifice it, and later on would get robotic replacements, a shame its not gonna be worked upon anymore

But everything I see seems so generic, bland and boring...
To all people here who tried it, how is it, really? And what does it compare to?
For example, would it be comparable to Fallout 2? Wasteland 2? (LOVE those!)
It seems that the combat is pause-based like Baldur's Gate?
Even after watching some let's play videos, it looks very confusing to me.
Best game ever.
In fact, I'd argue that games like TES, Witcher and so on are Action-Adventure games, and sandbox styled games like Kenshi are RPG.
It's like a DnD RPG, you choose and customize your character. Choose your own lore,
Drop freaking ugly zombies on them or you and we'll see how "untrained" you and they'll be then. I bet training only takes 10 seconds.
There's no story because you create your own story. You're not the "Dragonborn" or "The Chosen One" you're just you. It's literally in the description of the game. You choose your own fate. Wanna be a farmer? Be a farmer. Wanna make a tribe? Make a tribe. Wanna raid and pillage? Raid and pillage.
It's impossible to kill an animal because you don't start with godly stats like in every other game.You're just some person.
NPCs have lore, but the map is bigger than Daggerfall's map (which was equivalent to the size of Great Brittain) so you might not have met a lot of NPCs. Example: Daggerfall had 750k+ NPCs, but most were confined to the cities, so you'd hardly see them while venturing out.
You start skinny or fat, you get buff over time
I think you'd prefer Action Adventure games like Skyrim and Fallout instead of pure DnD RPG like games like this one. Maybe you'd rather enjoy being a premade character like Dragonborn, where your fate is set in stone. Maybe you'd rather enjoy a story where you're told what to do, rather than forging your own. Maybe you'd rather enjoy combat where you can kill everything and everyone at lvl 1.
Me personally, I'm bored of those types of games. Run from point A to point B just to go back to Point A, not because I want to, but because I have to.

No need to be passive aggressive when it's a small team working on a huge project. Even Daggerfall had more people working on that than this game has.
