It didn't have a virus when I downloaded it. Although, It also said the same thing when I downloaded it. I think it's that browser "virus auto-detect" thing.
BLACK SCREEN AT STARTUP. That what i confront whit from a year. i used to play cod very cod no problems but now...it only shows a black screen but i still fave sounds. Is there any fix?

Try Delete config.cfg file in [path to game]\main. Example C:\Program Files (X86)\Call of Duty Deluxe Edition\main delete config.cfg file (config_mp.cfg is for Multiplayer)
Hmm, If don't exist, try set compatibility to Windows XP SP3 First, Click at CODSP.exe (CODMP.exe for Multiplayer) CODUOSP.exe / CODUOMP.exe is for United Offensive.

So I followed the steps given by Alan Shibu. I first extracted the file, then open DVD1 started the installation, entered the random key, open DVD2 to continue installation, then it asks me to open again DVD1 and I get the I/O error. It says the files are corrupted. Is there someone able to help around here please?
This is a great game. For anybody having problems with single player: For right now, the best thing you can do is download it from here http://www.getpcgame.com/2015/09/call-of-duty-1-game.html until IGG Games fixes theirs. Worked for me.

Guys if you have problems to open singleplayer thats because the windows 10 is not supporting DRM protection. DRM protection is in older games from cds and dvds. To fix this problem you need no cd crack you can get it here: http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/callofduty.shtml its worked for me

Anyone know how to fix the I/O error at the end of the installation? I played this game years back and decided to install this for nostalgia but I keep getting the I/O error.
first you will see that disc 1 will have been mounted to the pc when it comes up eject disc 1 and mount disc 2 then when the "put in disc 1" again eject disc 2 and mount disc 1
where is disk two tho? i cannot mouth any disk two all i have is dvd1.rar and dvd2.rar i can mount disk 1 but i can't find disk 2 anywhere its not in dvd2.rar....
it's easy. extract the folders so that you get two iso files. double click on the first one, then go onto it. click on setup.exe, give it permission, then put in a cd key from the video below (thanks random!). install it until it asks you to insert your disk, but select keep changes. go into deviance - crack and copy whats in it. go to where you installed cod and past that, select continue. it should work then.
you need a disk or a disk drive the disk has to have nothing on it the game is a pc rom so just burn the game to the disk once the game is on the disk open your disk drive and close it it might start the game
