If you experience crashing at the start up, locate the SmartSteamEmu.ini. There you will fine commandline with a "#" sign before it. Delete it because as what is said in the note it will be recognized as a comment. Delete it then paste this after the equal sign next to the command line "-steam -force -d3d9". It should look like this "CommandLine = -steam -force -d3d9"? This trick worked for me. You try guys.
First comment I'm making on this site because it took me hours of errors to make this run, but it was definitely worth it! First of all, I want to say that this game IS multiplayer compatible! Now, here's some issues I came across and how I fixed them. I got an error telling me that I was missing Dll files msvcp100 and msvcr100. I downloaded those files at http://dll-files.com. Next it gave some error code telling me the game just couldn't run. I didn't have vcredist installed. I installed it, and the game was able to run. Before all that, it just took me to the steam store. Make sure you are running the game through LAUNCHER.exe or LAUNCHER_x64.exe as admin NOT the Gang Beasts.exe launcher :) If you're interested in changing your player name, go to the file called StartSteamEmu.ini in the main folder and open it. Scroll to where it says PersonaName a quarter through the document, Next to it should say IGGGAMES. Change that to whatever you like :) Hope this helps!

can't you reply politely? The files have changed and by doing a teeny tiny bit of research, I found out that you should go to the SmartSteamEmu.ini and find PersonaName to change your name!
We can't fix your ping issues, that sounds like a problem with your connection and region, which are factors we can't do anything about. And if the Ping issues are because of the crack, then we still can't do anything about it. We don't produce the cracks here, so we can't fix or change them.

Loading 25 % issue - marcoskorn got it! - if it stops at the loading screen, check your anti virus - i had avast and i had to restore the steam api DLL . once i did i went into settings of avast and excluded my game folder where i had the game and avast ignored it. Different antivirus's may be different but try to exclude the game folder. hope that helps. windows defender didnt do anything for me.

Posible Solution to Menu Loading Screen Stuck. I dont know if this has already been posted but the problem is that Windows defender (or any other antivirus program) inmediatly erases the file "steamapi.dll" because it finds a "Trojan" in it. All you have to do is decompress this file in the WINRAR archive located in Gang.Beasts.v1.0.4.rar/Gang Beasts_Data/Plugins/steamapi.dll and place it in your_instalation_folder/Gang Beasts_Data/Plugins/, when Windows asks, you must ALLOW THREAT in Windows Defender so it doesnt get erased. Hope it helps.

Your game isn't working? You have an error saying ^Failed Platform Entitlement, Please Restart Steam and try Again^? Here's the thing: Firstly, There is an important file named ^Launcher^ which is very essential to run the game and which automatically gets deleted as soon you extract the file. (It remains inside the RAR file) The windows defender/your personal anti virus detects it as a malware and thus deletes it. Its NOT MALWARE. Disable your anti virus or win. defender and extract again. (You can also report the file as not malware and restore it back (if you know how to do that)) Then launch the game by Launcher not gang beasts application. It should work as a charm now.. -47

Yes go to the Data folder in the gang beasts file and search ALI213 After that Left-Click and click Edit. Look over at the Player Name, you should see IGG-GAMES change it to whatever name you want after that Click Save

FOR ALL who have problems with the game.. dont do the same mistake I did and extract only the first archive.. use winrar and extract all files including the steamemu files .. also just remove space on Gang Beasts.exe and the data folder so its becomes GangBeasts.exe and GangBeasts_Data.. then it works

If you haven't already figured it out, cracked games don't work online, because they're cracked. In order to work, they would require cracked servers, which are not available for this game as no one wants to maintain a server for every cracked game there is

I think you should be yelling at the Devs for somehow allowing cracked versions being able to play Online, this is still one of the only games i've seen that allows it.
It only allows it because they don't have anything locking outside connection to the servers, because it's a early access game which basically just added Online. They aren't ALLOWING them to play online, they just don't have the tech to stop them.

You're not supposed to be able to use gangbeasts.exe, it's made by SteamEmu. Just use launcher, it's not the end of the world! As for the crashing, I'm not sure.
yes i realized that, so the multiplayer works, and so does the local, but when i try to quit to menu or finsih a game on local it crashes, as for multi it works fine

You need to be aware, that v.0.3.4 is as the author said: "unstable" (http://steamcommunity.com/games/285900/announcements/detail/603856846838349053). I experienced FPS drops where the previous version was playing at full FPS. Just for safety, don't delete previous version when you download the newer. And for IGG, again lots of love for this release!

If your resolution is low, increase it. If the game still crashes, run as administrator. If running as administrator does not work, decrease the compatibility mode by right clicking on a game, then go to properties, then go to compatibility tab. Finally, Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Then set it to minimum or higher requirement (Windows Vista or 7). If still does not work, then very sorry, find it from another cracked games site.

People with loads of money to spend ON GAMES should buy this.... AND THEY DO Steam, G2A, etc, proves it.
People who don't have the money should continue to Pirate it because well they're broke and over-priced games is still over-priced. Even "Free" games hit free users with massive pay walls. Yes, even indie studios/developers. So lets not try to act like they don't deserve to be pirated, yeah?
Plus besides, people like you are a 3rd wheel in these factors. You have the Robin Hoods(Skidrow, etc), The Buyers(Steam,etc) and then you people, the kind who don't understand the true (Multiple) reasons behind Pirating.
Also go preach to the musicians who pirate the real high-priced stuff(Even though they can buy it.)
Also Buddy, "I'm justifying stealing.", "You can't Justify Stealing.".... Wait.... Don't History proves "Who stole/Took what" and don't they also "Try to Justify it?". Isn't a lot of things "Stolen." From others and "No one cares?" Also i've heard quite the lot of developers who has told those who can't buy their game(s) to go pirate it. See what that is? It's called people picking a choosing what's right and what's wrong. They choose whether or not you're "Stealing."
Too put it blunt and simple, of course i'm gonna try to "Justify." what many of us is doing, i mean, might as well, everyone else has done it and will continue to do it (In one form or another.) After all, take away "Pirating" and you'll still have "Scammers", "IRL Rip Offs" and many more that won't ever stop.

Exactly what I needed for my party
It's just pitch black in the character seletion screen and when the game is sopposed to start it dosen't load the game it just stays pitch black.
Please help if you got a solution :(

When you start the game,if you configure the settings then exit the game
and start it again it becomes to deafult settings
it has this line on the start and looks completly diffrent then hows its supposed to look
