I think I have a pretty sure way of getting it. Mount disc 1 Don't autorun or setup etc Move the game files (I forgot what it was called but it is a folder that starts with game soemthing) to a new folder, for convenience sake, I named it Rewrite. Repeat same steps with disc 2 tl;dr basically don't let it autorun and move the game files from each disk to the same folder, then appply the eng patch.
Thank you but I don't need it no more, I managed to get the game worked 2 months ago but already forgot how I did it lol. In the end I dropped the game after like 2 weeks of playing, though I gotta say I love the main menu BGM (Tabi)
I might be late, but here's how I got it to work: FYI I'm using a Windows 10 Laptop with a default software called Power2Go which I think is similar to Daemon Tools so I used it instead(I'll just assume anyone reading this is using a similar software to what I used). First select Rewrite_Disc1(the 4.06 Gb one, by left-clicking once), right-click on it then click "Mount as virtual drive." Click ok when prompted, click on the newly mounted drive then run the "Autorun" exe file. Once the setup appears, ignore the fact that's Japanese and click the topmost option on the screen. Select the location(make sure you have enough memory; the space available is displayed at the top while below it is the required memory), click on the left button and the installation process will start. After some time, the process will require you to mount the second disc. Just do the same as what you did with the first one then the installation will continue. Wait for it to finish. For the last part, you need to install the English patch. You can find it on the "No-CD + English patch" folder(the instructions for installing the patch is inside the file unfortunately, which also includes a walkthrough). Run the file then click next till you arrive at the "Choose Install Location" part. It will automatically locate the folder where you installed the game but if not, you can select it manually. Click install and that's it(I think). BTW, I didn't change my locale to Japan(or Japanese?) and it still worked. I haven't finished the game yet so I don't know if I'll encounter problems relating to that. (Sorry if my English isn't good enough).
i finally got it to work, here how first install both installation the 2 disk (there a comment bellow show you how) and the one say no CD + eng patch then i get the g00 file out of the eng installation and copy all the file inside the 2 disk (inclue g00) one to the eng after that copy everything INSIDE the eng g00 to the g00 you just copy im just messing around till it work so dont ask me what wrong and how it work, yes there might be some uneccesary step in there too. sr if there any error in my english

for the people reading this coment and it isn't working, just start the installation with locale emulator (japanese of course) or just change your system language to japanese for the installation.
