Got this to work on Lutris using Wine as runner so it'll probably work on Windows pcs. I downloaded the copy from the google drive link. Extract, go to Redist folder, install one of the vcredist files (64 or 32 bit), then finally, install xnafx40_redist.msi (this is important). Use the LAUNCHER.exe file to run the game.
I can get it working, homescreen pops up, i hear the music, but everything is superslow, i cant even press a button, does anyone know how to fix it? yes the xna framework is installed
Hey, When I click on hacknet.exe, 2 black windows pop up, one console and the second window is supposed to be a "game" I guess. I can hear a music, but it won't load. I can see just a black screen. I downloaded XNA framework and wrote that setting thing, but it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me? I'd like to play this game.

i need some help. when i open the game it starts (slowly but it dose) and then game keeps stop working so i can't select an option, after some seconds it highlights the last thing that i touched with my cursor. i don't know what to do and i think that it is because of the background's animation.

I've had this problem since quite some time ago, and I tried reinstalling XNA Framework as well as DotNet, even tried to update DirectX and Visual C++. However, the problem is still popping up.

you need to check your log > connect to naix by putting the IP > delete his x-server.sys HOW TO : #ls (you'll see all the files) #cd log (go to log) #ls (the IP will be there, search the one like IPI.PIP.IPI.PIP has deleted x-server.sys (something like that)) #connect IPI.PIP.IPI.PIP #probe #SSHcrack 22 #porthack #ls (you'll see all naix file) #cd sys #scp x-server.sys #reboot -i note : every game has different ip the tag (#) means you need to type it hope this helps ;))
i have black screen but when i look at the window at the desktop tab i can see the menu. and i have downloaded what the mod said twice and it was the same pls help
im using windows 10 and i get a black screen and ive installed xna framework, u can only see the menu when u hold alt and tab, any help fixing this? ive even done a settings.txt aswell but still no luck

What do you mean windows 10 can detect cracked games? I haven't gotten anything like that and I have that version of windows. I've downloaded so many cracked games, but they all work. I think someone needs to double confirm this rumor
Yeah, they are both full of shit. What the EULA changes these article are talking about is in relation to modded xbox consoles. Has nothing to do with windows 10.

read it, it says to look for another system file which i wont tell you, you can still use commands so use scan to find another computer and copy the system file back
No! GAME Crashes! Not the Computer inside HACKNET i had this problem too. i didn't even had Ïncoming"connection thing from Naix, game just closed, reopened.. POOF My save is gone.
