Honestly looking at the reviews for JC4, seems like they fucked up this one the same way as JC3. UI is terribly designed, the game tries its best to prevent fun by complicating things and adding unnecessary features that cause frustration. I'm genuinely sad, but I hope it'll get better with patches and dlc. I'm probably going to ignore this game for 2 years before it gets fixed. : (
Seems like JC4 is just marketing itself as "hey, if you haven't play JC3, why not try this one instead?" Nothing exciting, Just cause being just cause, just, cause.
You can of course download this and when it's cracked, just need to use cracked file to replace original file. But we never know when will this get cracked.
Except when the cracked version surfaces, the game will most likely already have a ton of updates and even DLC. So downloading this version now is just stupid
thats why I never understand the point of this even being here. All that happens is a bunch of 12 year olds complaining it wont play, and by the time the crack comes, it has tons of updates, or the crack is included with the download.
Downloading day 1 version is silly, because the cracked game will be the most up to date version, which is very rarely, if ever, day 1 version. The crack may not be compatible, and even if it is, why would anyone want to play a less refined game anyway?
I agree with everything you say in this specific case. As to why anyone would want to play a less refined game, the answer is not all patches improve games. For example, there are a lot of people playing WoW private servers from points all throughout the game's history. Chasm's first patch fixed a bug that put a debug ring that trivialized the difficulty of the game into random treasure chests and some people wanted to still be able to choose when to equip or not equip that ring.

Most actually Scene groups not only do buy the games but even go out of their way to encourage others to do the same. They literally say it in every one of their NFOs. From their point of view they crack games for the bragging rights of saying they defeated the software protection and if people don't buy games/software than there won't be more for them to crack and brag about.
That's probably not really true. The groups cracking the game are probably where he got the full unlocked from. I doubt this is just for p2p usage. Like I've said before, a legitimate owner friend can activate your pirate FULL UNLOCKED copy so you can play. That's probably the biggest reason to have this page.
im 100% with the upload, i did dll DQ 11 to get english files, then dlled crack only after being cracked, worked perfect but that because most japanese companies do the required tests and debugging before release the 1.0, unlike western companies who sell the alpha to end users and make them report bugs for free lmao
There are two additional reasons Full Unlocked games are uploaded. 1: because if you have a friend with a legitimate copy, they can activate your Full Unlocked game and you can play. 2: because if the full unlocked page exists, it prevents people from spamming requests for it all over the request board. Reason 1 is the reason it's going to keep happening. Reason 2 is the reason I'm glad it keeps happening. It's tiresome responding to a dozen posts a day with "this game has denuvo and cannot be requested". I've had to say that about Bus Simulator 18 dozens and dozens of times already. Did you know, I never uploaded the game "FULL UNLOCKED" in the past (About 2-3 years ago), but there are many people asking me to upload FULL UNLOCKED files even I said it can not cracks. Again a LOT of people have yet to get that. That's why they had to add it as a "Featured Comment" Though people never seem to see that.

Yeah right cause people in the cracking industry are heading to IGG to get their game files to crack. CPY and the likes have their OWN source for game files. Why I said no one here has a USE for these files. I have seen it countless times here that people get these unlocked versions then complain its not running or working.. Then they find out that the crack when released does not work on the 40gb they downloaded a few weeks ago. These are a 100% a waste of time to download. When the cracked version releases it can easily be downloaded then KNOWING that the game is actually running with a working crack.

You were right in your first two sentences, then completely wrong on your third. It's possible with a friend who bought a copy to activate your full unlocked download. THAT is the use for these files. Also (a bit unrelated), it stops people from requesting it on the main page. If you knew the number of times I had to tell people they can't request Bus Simulator 18, you'd see why this is better. Shifts the burden onto the ignorant and off the site staff, which means a better operating site for everybody. And we do a lot to help the ignorant from the red "WAIT FOR CRACK" and the featured comment to explaining what FULL UNLOCKED means on every damn game page like this multiple times. I am of the opinion that we should rename it to "(NOT CRACKED)", but Gabgster shot that down when I pressed him on it, so it's kinda a closed issue in my mind. The "problem" of this hinges on how bad it is for people to waste time downloading something. There's a lot of problems that it solves that would not be solved if this page didn't exist. There's probably not a perfect solution, but I'm not entirely convinced there's a better one, short of changing the page title (which is not happening).
From what I picked up so far, it seems that games which have more variables will be harder/more time consuming to crack. An open world game has far more variables than a fighting game, for example. Because Denuvo checks every single variable (to prevent it from being modified), so they need to bypass every single variable. It is like needing to implement hundreds of cracks for a single game. Another thing to keep in mind is that games get updated frequently after release. If the crackers went all-out to crack a game on release day, they will have to keep doing it over and over again, because the updates would likely be too game-changing to miss out on for the pirates (at least for the first couple of weeks after release).
That seemed how it played out for a very long time now, but it is already cracked...Don't get too excited though, 77% negative reviews on Steam right now for this game. Updates are a big deal.
No Viper, DENUVO comes out with many versions each year. Each one comes with new challenges and obstacles to pass meaning it takes a long time for each crack. The current version/the one on this game is DENUVO v5.3 if you wanted to know. Best regards, Tau
IGG themselves don't do the cracks from my knowledge. It's other groups that get their hands dirty. IGG from what I know just uploads but I stand to be corrected.
I'm really glad Denuvo exists. Games that would've never gotten a PC port are showing up all over the place on PC now thanks to Denuvo. It's better to have to wait a month or two and get to play a game than have it never come to PC at all. I have too many games in my backlog already anyways. I can wait.
denuvo its probably already on their last years codex and cpy cracked a lot of games and capcom remove it from megaman 11 which its bad news for denuvo because they are losing a customer trust
No. Pretty much every other DRM get's cracked day one of a release and most still stayed around for years after the fact. Denuvo was removed from MM11 because it had already been out for a while. A lot of games actually do that because at that point it did it's job and they don't want to pay more to keep updating it. You can bet the next big Capcom title will have Denuvo on release day because it still works for the first month+ in 99% of titles. They will keep using it because it still reasonably protects the launch window sales which is what they care about. Especially since there aren't any more effective alternatives around.

Hitman 2 was cracked the same day as it released and it was on DENUVO 5.3, which is the same being used in JC4 so there is always a chance. Have hope! -Tau
I absolutely hated the whole gear system. Forcing you to do the damn mini-games for progression was annoying as hell. Especially since I utterly sucked at some of them.
I'm pretty sure he's trying to be funny since Just Cause 4's map is 1024 km2. That's pretty big. That's big enough to get it into the top 5 largest open world game maps if you exclude procedural generated ones. For comparison The Witcher 3's map is 218km2 and GTA V's is only like 127km2.

It will depend on if there are any updates between now and when this game gets cracked. If it gets cracked before any updates come out, then no you won't. If it gets cracked after some updates come out, then yes, you will need to download everything again. If you have limited bandwidth, then just wait for it to be cracked before downloading.
