I don't understand all the hate you guys are giving to the furry community, in general fury games are really good and a lot of time and effort are put into them because it's a lot harder to draw/animate then the simple form of the human body and to make a furry character/Sona look real is a lot harder then a human because we know the form all to well so instead of showering it with hate rather applaud it for the work and effort put into making it and keep your hateful comments to your self or go and post them on redit where no one really gives a dame about what stuff your hating on or go and join a form where you can talk about it so that you don't have to bother the rest of the internet.
As a furry, in general furry games are **. Nekojishi is ** and I do not know why people like it, except the horniness. But this is good, alongside with Winds of Change and Angel with Scaly Wings. And what happens to these game? Nobody care, just because they were not made for the R-18 patches. I know we furry should be burn to **** or whatever you say, but at least I appreciate quality games.

I'm not really into the furry community, I just think the whole anthropomorphized characters makes it more interesting, the same way multicolored aliens would make it interesting, or monsters. I like a story that doesn't revolve around humans. But I liked the game, so I must be a furry right? So go ahead and unleash all that vitriol at me. Go on, get it out of your system.

Nah, it's more the art style the problem, there is a clear difference of details between the portrait and the background in the screenshot. Just like Dust, everything was fine until you see the portraits and be like "wtf".
It's somehow sad that I can't look at such games without having to think of furries, even though fables using animals instead of humans have a long tradition spanning thousands of years. Of cause they were not really anthropomorphic besides maybe walking on two legs like puss in boots. Wonder if there's a video already titled "10 things the Internet ruined". xD

I get what you're saying, but like you mentioned, those ancient depictions were absolutely nothing like what we see in the furry fandom. Thing is, there's always been cartoons and stuff with anthropomorphic animals, but none have the tumblr-esque porn styles like the styles you see in games like this, so it's perfectly understandable to assume that it's a possibility the game is just fur-porn. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the artist draws furry stuff on the side, but that's getting into the dangerous territory of assumptions. That said, game actually looks neat, gonna give it a go.
You'll get over it, you personally have a problem with furries and I do hope you get help with this stigma you've developed. Furries and anthro are actually the appeal for me, I don't think sex or fetishes and I've been in the fandom for years now,cons as well. I'm uneasy with furry content in the same manner I'm uneasy with potentially mundane to sexual things like inflation to futanari. I know there's nothing sexual in Solatarobo, but I just can't enjoy the concept.
I watched videos from a guy who is a furry himself and he himself said that for many of his fellow furries sexuality is playing a big part. Nothing wrong with fetishes as long as they don't overdo it. Some do though and quite a few of such games are oversexualized too. The games' art just gives me the vibe of maybe becoming one of such games. Like certain Mangas for example starting serious or cute and suddenly they start banging in them like there is no tomorrow. xD Btw. I watched Fritz the Cat as a child and found it funny. It's also not like I couldn't find a certain sex appeal in some furry artworks. I'm just not a big fan of really humanized animals. Normal human body (often with sixpacks), with animal looking head, fur and maybe paws in connection with serious storytelling. The upcoming game Biomutant doesn't have this problem because it doesn't try to make them look human. Solatarobo didn't really grab me from it's setting but the art reminds me a bit of Chip 'n' Dale. I never got far in the game.

And that's... understandable, it's not as if I could or would try to force something onto someone, I don't take offense because someone doesn't like a concept or theme. It's just disappointing to know you're potentially missing out on something, but there's so much content in the world today it's not as if this game is anything grand or even good since I haven't played it... and as I say that your "overselling" comment runs through my head.
