those who cant find savefile locations other than steam or GoG : for this codex version, it is in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\637090\remote\c0\sgs1 Go to your users directory like c/users but instead of your user ID, go to Public folder. its rather annoying really that they decided to put it there. I had to use something called Directory Monitor to find the savefile location.
Try to download the parts again. Try it one at a time, overwriting your previous one and try extracting again. One of your downloads probably got corrupted.
Tried downloading the 1.5.0 patch from elsewhere then installing the 1.6.1 patch, still mismatch. So I checked the 1.6.1 patch nfo, and it says " This patch requires:BATTLETECH.Urban.Warfare.REPACK-PLAZA" So the 1.6.1 patch here won't work for the current version uploaded here.
After installing patch 1.3.1 and 1.4.0 the game won't accept update 1.6.1. Installer says that there's a mismatch in files. Anyone here have the same problem?
Anyone who doesn't know that 1.6 is the latest patch won't realize that this includes the latest DLC also, given we have text about Flashpoint but none about Urban Assault. You guys should include a text blurb from that as well just to make it crystal clear.

next to " feature level limit ", press -None- and from the drop menu choose "11_1 ". 5- last step, check the box next to wrap command then apply and ok to close the program . 6- open the game and enjoy.
The installers "cancel" command is bad, it removes the install folder... and if you set it accidentally to be your games folder, rather than "Battletech" folder and try to fix that mistake, it removes the whole folder and thus all other games installed in there... I just lost 3 other games this way, one that had extensively been moded. Not fun at all.. so you might want to remove the cancel and just enlargen the pause.
I haven't played the Front Mission series, so I can't say much. But I certainly wouldn't say this game has much in common from anything I've seen out of Japan.
I found PLAZA saves here: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Steam\CODEX\637090\remote\c0\sgs1 But for me the GOG saves copied to this folder are completely unrecognized by the PLAZA version.
I figured out a fix. Save a game quick in the PLAZA version, copy that saves filename and then change your latest GOG save filename to the one you just copied. Now just copy the modified GOG save into the PLAZA save folder (let it overwrite) and the game will let you load the save. Make sure to select the correct campaign/career on the left to see your old save on the right.
The Version from the Download is 1,02 and you say we must Patch to 1,04, but where can i find the Patch for 1.03? I mean I cant pach directly from 1,02 to 1,04.
game patched and up to date, and still unplayable past the tutorial I just get a never ending loading screen showing a spaceship with a rotating planet in the background forever. any help for this? I already blocked the game with firewall and added -offline to the shortcut, those haven't helped.
go to where you installed the game. find its exe and right click to eat. Creat shortcut. Then go right click to the new file you created and hit properties. Then add the -offline ;)
1.0.4 causes the time / travel issue everyone complains about in 1.0.3 in 1.0.3 i never had that problem. so please keep 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 separated. thank you.

"Most" addons/dlc happen on day 1, the "Proper" way to handle dlc is to handle them months after release. More and more day 1 dlc release, esp after people moved attention over to microtransactions controversy. Gotta nickle and dime the user base (may sound ironic hearing this on a pirate website, but i do buy a lot of the games i download....okay fine a few, because all the others i lost interest in maybe a day and forgot about em xD)
sadly i had read their "march" they gonna fix all bugs then later add a dcl, so i think we need at least 6 months before see something of new and hope is not a dumb story giving you a mech
you could always post a request to have the latest patch loaded in if you know what it is ... or even any hotfix ... did that with oni as the version just before current was so buggy it was not worth running it ... now it works loads better ... still a bit buggy but new patch in just over 2weeks for that one

the game has been cracked however the updates still require a crack to run... so if an update for it is not on this site it means theres no crack for the updates..
Just finished the game and I must say that despite all the bugs and non-optimalized engine it's GREAT. And after finishing its story you'll get a nice gift from lady Arano... ;)
hi, game crash on me after mission 1 (tutorial) it will not proceed to mission 2 for me i see the standing mech looking over farm land wallpaper and after that the game either close/give me a error message and get a crash log or my entire screen will just go black and have to either end task BATTLETECH.exe in task manager (sometimes it works) or I have to force shutdown the computer. I can play mission 1 (tutorial) and skirmish mode only.
For those Having VERY long LOADING times... Unity is back like in PoE and Tyranny. BLOCK THE GAME with your firewall. Loading times at -80%, Sorry I have to go now, I have some Mechs to Upgrade and an Empire to reclaim... for the right price... ^^
I don't think that it'll be a solution for other people. The problem is that the game is causing a RAM leak because of its shity optimalization. Look at your RAM usage after one hour, then after 3-5 hours while playing - it'll be increased. There are MANY threads about this issue but the devs are silent. I've read that the best option to do is:
Sell any equipment you won't use;
Delete every fuckin' savegame (except the on you are using of course);
And guess what makies the ram leak... Internet processes that are being called by the unity. But no. You know better . Do whatever you want. I am having 20 to 45 secs of loading with a pretty good rig. But please Do as you think is best. Dont mind the forums and that this is an OLD problem with Unity games but heck. You know better. Keep reastarting that machine of yours. Cool.
LoL whoever told you to restart game after 2 hours is trolling you. I have 34%usage of RAM. Unity has a lot of nodes to call internet fuctions for various things. Thats because Unity started as a mobile platform and then moved to a more general. Eitherway if you are in Windows 7 you need a RAM optimiser (not booster)! In Windows 10 youy need to register ram and lock it. Eitherway you can do that from control panel. Fenek also please dont talk for other people. Let them speak for themselves. And what i wrote is the official solution the developers are giving in their forums until patch 1 which for uis isnt cracked yet.. So Block the game with your firewall. I have a loading time of 35 seconds to 45 between launch and begin mission button to come alive. Pretty decent for a not optimised game.

And after I run the game I have ~4-6GB RAM usage. After two-three hours it increases to ~9GB. Just check your RAM memory usage constantly and you will now when to restart the game. For all who have errors at the moment, when a video start. Just rename the AVProVideo.dll in the Battletech\Battletech_Date\Plugins in AVProVideo.dll.txt. You have no videos, but you can play without problems. But the videos you can see on yt, but the game is awesome!! Thanks to all.

(the tutorial kinda sucks, you gotta learn the HUD and all the important mechanics like stability and injuries by yourself), but then I got the hang of it and it grew on me. Give it time, and you will love it. The story is better than I expected and the game is fun if you pray to RNGesus before every shot. It's a bit like XCOM, you manage a team between fights, then you drop in and get your turn based combat, with hit chances, flanking and shit. But you control huge BATTLEMECHS instead!
this game is unplayable after the uncle invasion scene. keeps crashing at the same spot tried twice now. would love to play it. probably wont be able too until its patched.

And change in the "......682.info" the 'English' and 'en-US' into 'German' and 'de-EU'. I tried 'de-DE', too. But that will not work. Any ideas?

the games are split into 4.99gb "parts" that each need to be downloaded. once all the parts are downloaded you only need to extract "part 1", it will extract the rest of the parts automatically to the same destination
