I want to change the installation location of the hd game but when I run the setup file it doesn't show the option to change the installation location just to continue the installation. I already removed all the game files and even downgraded the iso and nothing works
Edit: i got it i just went to the control panel from there i uninstalled hitman 2 and then everything worked
99.99% of the time that means you haven't cracked it. It might be your first time, but pirated games are "cracked" games and that means you have to replace some files in the game's directory (the place where it got installed). There's a folder with the files along with the downloaded game, you just have to copy and replace those files where the game was installed (not the folder itself). I haven't downloaded this game here so I don't know which files or what folder it is. Usually it's very straightforward and nowadays most cracked games give you the choice to copy the files as an extra step while installing the game (some people prefer to do it manually, maybe because sometimes the antivirus will delete some of those files)

Oh, and I highly recommend torrenting this instead through iggs torrent site (see site's tabs up-top) as the game is massive and will require plenty of time to download. Doing this without a torrent, you'll spend lots of time messing about with downloads, overrides, download limits, etc. Best to get one massive file from utorrent though not have to stress over overrides and the like

Download 2.40 apply the patch then download 2.70 then apply the patch although i'm sure you don't have to do it like that but that's the way i did it and the correct version displayed under options without issues

How those remastered versions work is they have a variable in the code where if it's a 0 it will not show the missions and if it shows a 1 then you can play them, almost all cracks will have this number set to 1. Basically you should have the remastered versions without having to download the first one ;) good luck with the game!
I installed the latest dlc 2.70.1 on 2.11 and then copied the files in hitman directory the game crashed any help to fix it. Is it necessary to instal previous dlc first and then latest one..
What can I do about missing DLLs, I've installed the latest Nvidia drivers and cracked with latest update but the game won't start with the DLLs. This is what the game is asking for: GfeSDK.dll PhysX3Common_x64.dll RakNet_VS2015_DLL_Release_x64.dll Both the dx11 and dx12 are missing the files. Any suggestions.
I used "innounp" to install the game. The "innounp" install was downloaded at the link to Hitman 1 IGG. So instead of using the Hitman install I used innounp instead. Which solved my problem
Dude for the future, most anti viruses will block .dll files, they will remove them upon extraction, this is because anti viruses almost always flag .dll's as viruses even if they aren't. Just tell your anti virus that the dll is safe (a lot of anti viruses you can tell them that some files are safe that they've marked as viruses). Otherwise just turn it off anti virus software are useless, but make sure you do have knowledge of how cracks work and that you don't download any non legit files.
Can I play Hitman 1 maps in this version or do I also need Hirman 1 installed to play. I'm not sure if the Hitman 1 content is unlocked in this version.

The fact is, this version is the CPY version, it means there is a CPY.ini in both retail folder (ingame CODEX profile). So if you do as the guy in the video, just copy steamemuini into both retail folder, nothing will change, coz still the CODEX profile start(because of the CPY.ini. So that video is no good for this version. To make this work, you have to delete CPY.ini from both of the retail folder,and then copy this steamemuini. But this just not enough.The video show a fresh game, without any save file.So ppl who try to copy that 2 folder, overwrite blablabla, it just wont work.You have to delete all your old save files and copy that 2 folder otherwise it won't work. The fact is you did not show me how you did it with this version. if you didn't get that by now, you downloaded a virus, igg always give you .rar files, so if you get an .exe never run it and try to download the game again until it gives you a .rar file if you are using http://megaUP.net (the second best after google drive) you need to click twice on the download button before the site gives you the file, and not a pop-up.

Yes I have. I forgot to crack one of many updates. You need to reinstall and make sure you install game, crack it then install first update, crack it. The second update, crack it and so on. Every update needs to be cracked with its crack files. Enjoy!

I FINALLY FIGURE IT OUT. There was no instruction on how to download this crap, but if anyone are having problem with not be able to play the game after update then follow my instruction. Instruction:
Open Update folder and run the .exe. Then browse, and select root folder or location of the game. Then HIT install.
After Update (This was where I was stuck on), go to the PLAZA folder. Then copy and paste the Retail folder to your game root folder where the Launcher are.
Then you have successfully patched the game. Do the same for the next few updates of the game. Notice: !!!. You have to update the game in order from V2.13.0 to V2.14.0, and so on... (IGG have never mention this and I have had problem with many updates of multiple games like this game and Skyrim. Because I jump to the latest update and download that one instead.) !!!. And no it doesn't work if you update all of the update in one time, and paste the final files in the last update folder of PLAZA; then it doesn't work. Final Message to dev:
IGG dev or whatever, can you please give instruction for downloading updates because it haven't been very clear on how to patch the game, because there are no tutorial on how to do it. There was actually a README.txt folder in every one of the update folders but it only state things about this community and I appreciate that, BUT please put instruction on how to use updates in the future upload. Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.

Keep in mind the game is using what is possibly the most successful and clever anti-piracy method as of today: making the solo game half-online. You can complete the game in offline mode, but anything that strays from the base campaign won't be unlockable (or at least I didn't figured out how yet). From what I've read, your profile is stored in the remote server cloud, so anything that comes from challenges, points, suits and new weapons won't be available in this cracked edition. I would say this is fine though. The game is good enough, so I suggest to wait for a fir deal on legal reseller if you want the complete game after trying it out as a crack.

When I play the game for about 20 - 30 minutes and I encounter checkpoints in the game, the game just saves non-stop. And when I load the save again it just freezes. I tried turning off the autosave option but it still keeps on happening. Anyone else with this problem? Please help..
The game that you've downloaded here are all cracked or people says "PIRATED". So you need to download the crack in order to play the game without the game directly sends you to the STEAM Hitman 2 page. Just download the crack and copy it to the game folders and play.

do you think that using these 100% save files affect the other save files of games? I have used these save files in my laptop and it has happened 3 or 4 times that the save files of other games are corrupted or are no longer recognized by the game I am not sure why this happens. Any guesses?
Run game as admin also check taht the save folder is indexed in windows alsox check the ini that the savepath is the same. Also make save folder read write. Hope this helps./
Is there any way to get this game to run online? It basically locks every feature except the campaign behind requiring connection to servers. Can't get scores to see how well I performed, can't do any of the challenges, probably can't unlock anything either. Can still play the story, but as far as I'm concerned, doesn't really seem worth it if you never get to know how well you did at the end.

Change the save directory to a usb, to change the save directory go to the CPY.ini in the retail folder. As far as i can tell, only changing it to a usb will fix it.

Edit of my latest comment, the game works and runs pretty well (~35-40 FPS) with a Nvidia 860M, 10GB RAM, W8, DirectX11 with the High settings, save for the shadow quality I set to low (who cares about shadows ?) FYI, I still overclocked my graphical card with the following setting with MSI Afterburner: Core Clock : ~+60 MHz Memory Clock : ~+625 MHz The recommended settings for this game look exeedingly exagerated. And it looks like I was wrong, the S1 missions run waaaay better in this version. If you're here I'm assuming you can't afford to buy this game, so your setting migh be a little outdated like mine, so I figured it would help before downloading 100Gb of data unsure if it would work or not.

I'm using different monitoring softwares to check if my graphical card overheats too much, and I don't even touch its voltage. For all I know, at worst and if I'm running out of all my luck, the game can crashes for a violated memory access and the pc needs to be rebooted. That's why it's important to check for any graphical error. Also, I'm fairly aware OCs are suceptible of reducing the lifespan of the hardware. It's not like I'm using it for any game anyway.

Not hard to understand, but I'll give you step by step since you're struggling. The Crack is under the download, it's highlighted in Red. Once downloaded right click, extract from winrar into whatever file it is in. Once you've done this go to your C:Hard Drive at "Your Computer" in files, double click the Hard Drive to enter it and look for ProgramFiles(x86), then look for Hitman 2, and then in the Hitman file double click Retail. Once you're inside Retail, copy the all of the crack files that you extracted and paste it into Retail. Once you've done this click the Launcher and press Play.

Don't listen to dude below you lol, I know what you did wrong already. 1 possible reason and 1 major reason. #1 Make sure the letter is same as the letter on your Drive. #2 You said H:/ New Folder wrong. The / is actually supposed to backwards \ (Ex: H:\New Folder) No space after the / as well. Grammar is key to this. Spell exactly how I spelt except for your letter of USB Drive.

Not all heroes wear cape especially you, fix save workss (if this method not work try to change your flashdisk letter or try format your flashdisk change to NTFS)
One of the main problems for people is the grammar errors and not following every little step perfectly. You absolutely need to make sure you typed everything and followed every step perfectly, because one little mistake can change it completely. Like forgetting a space between New Folder for example. If it doesn't help I don't know what to tell you.
ive gotten this to work by changing the save location to my other internal hard drive. made a folder in there called New Folder and changed the CPY txt file to the new path. I did not need a USB drive for it to work

I don't know, I tried changing save location multiple times in many areas but it had no fix. Apparently the USB save location works and idk why. I went out and bought 5$ USB Drive which is totally better than spending 60$ on Hitman 2. Just go out and get one, it works permanently no problem and yes you need it to be plugged in.

There is no other way as far as I'm concerned. If you've gotten through the launch glitch it's 100% chance that you can fix the Inifinite Save glitch, but keep in mind. $5 USB Drives are nothing compared to $60 Hitman games. I went out to Target (or Walmart) and bought one for $5. Most of them will be $7. And don't worry they have plenty of space, but you absolutely need one yes.

What in the world justifies allocating 16GB of RAM for a videogame that's not even an open world ? I bet they didn't work on pathfinding optimisation at all, which was barely good enough for the prequel,to be taken care of by the cutting edge PCs of its release time. The game would probably runs just fine even for a "old" gamer laptop whenever there's not a crown around, but if each NPC allocates their very own pathfinding algorithm, plus the minimal "True HD texture" AAA games are supposed to follow (which is rather questionable, the prequel was good looking enough), it's no wonder those games weight near 70-80GB and ask for the most recent graphical cards. My point is, as a software developer myself, I know there's plenty of way to reduce the calculation time, and this game clearly does not follow them. Considering, I bet they had to rush the release and axed the nescessary time to correctly optimise the game, so instead of having a game that could pretty well correctly run on a 860M with ~12GB RAM (my own setting, minus an overclock making my graphical card reaching the level of a 960M), they force us to get ourserlves a newer and expensive setup for that, while this is mostly unnecessary for most more modest-looking games. Still, had they worked a few more months, they could have added good, optimisation rules like preset pathfinding on very low important NPCs, stricter NPCs deallocation on memory when the camera could not see them (could be seen on the prequel if you moved really fast the camera), or reduce the NPCs texture model quality on non important parts. On the prequel, it's clear they worked on it, but not enough. This is why the game required a cutting edge graphical card on Paris, NASA specs on Italy, and simply a correct GPU on Okaido. Actually, the biggest enemy of the graphical card is the lack of walls. This is not a question of price, it's a question of level of accessibility for the game market. Anyway, this is litteraly the first time I consider I don't have a good enough setup anymore to run a recent game I want to play correctly. But as far as I like the hitman franchize, I clearly don't think it justifies buying a GTX1070 card...

Try to run it as administrator. For me that made it to work. And Deactivate FROM your graphics card settings at windows not in game x8 anti alias . dropped it to x4 and all works smoothly

almost worked fine, but when i open the game,in the main menu everything looks fine, and when i start a mission i only see a 1/4 of the screen the rest is completly black, but the subtitles still shows up in the black parts HALP

No this isnt possible in the cracked versions, because in you NEED an internet Connection to get points for your mission, so you cant get new weapons and ways without the full version. if you want to unlock new things, you need to buy the full version
You need to either block uplay on firewall or play in offline mode, i had that issue and the game crashes because the servers arent compatible with the new uplay so when it tries to connect the game crashes every 20-30min. I dont know why ubisoft havent fixed it since the servers are technically still on just not accessible from new uplay
Considering, I stock huge files such as very heavy .iso on a Ironwolf 4TB HDD with S/ATA that I couple with a S/ATA to USBv3 adaptater. What's truely is bothersome is that to extract the parts, the compression/decompression software need to write a temporary file to be compied on the target folder, and by default it's located on the temp/ folder of the C:/ Drive. I actually found out recently this can luckily enough change this folder to another on the setting of winrar.

Having played the free version on steam, the prologue, and this is my first time playing a Hitman game. The game is nowhere near worth 60 or more dollars. Its only worth 19.99. There's nothing special about this game, its just another stealth action game. If anyone wanted to play better stealth action games, there's the Splinter cell series and the best one IMO is a game called "Rogue Ops".
The prequel was pretty good, but clearly nothing justifies a $60 price ($10 more than GTA V, which is an open world) indeed. Especialy to the eyes of a developper, admiting the game looks pretty similar to its prequel, they sure put a lot of effort into the game maps, but they're not perfect. It's clear the high price is a direct consequence of an unnescessary marketing.
i think there is a major difference between Hitman and other stealth games. In hitman, there are many ways to kill a target, and most of them has a special scenario like dropping chandelier and gazillion creative way to kill your target, just like watching a slasher movie. If you play online, there's also a custom scenario where users challenge you on the same map with different targets, its challenging especially if you're trying to do the optional requirement, like must wear certain disguise only, or certain kill method only. You can even choose a different location, and can bring some extra item in the safe house (e.g. a rifle). 19.99 is too cheap for me, given that the game is an eye candy, and able to run smoothly even in stages with a lot of NPCs like Paris and Marrakesh (Hitman 1). I recently bought Hitman (2016) for 80% less during the Black Friday sale, and having loads of fun with it.
Honestly i have 500h in both games together (700 if i add absolution to it), its totally worth every penny for me. IOI have put such a tremendous effort with hitman 2 too, if you go into miami theres just so much micro details, the map is insanely huge and theres nothing copypasted everything is unique. I gotta say i spent yesterday 8h just running and killing people and exploring during 8h and i still have new stuff to check. Sure splinter cell is my favorite game series but ubisoft can go fuck themselves not releasing any more of them, all they do now is screw up great franchises like assassins creed non assassination rpg aka odyssey
But it's your choice if that's how you want to play Hitman. Yeah, you CAN play it like that, you can also just run n gun, but you can ALSO scope out the area and the target location, as well as where and when that target moves anywhere and what that target does. Then you can pretend to be a cook or a waiter or cop, whatever, and walk around sabotaging the target in various complicated and creative ways, and trying to walk away undetected. It's fine if you don't really like that kind of game, not everyone does, but that's really the type of game it is. It's a sandbox assassination simulator meant to be played over and over again for the perfect kill. Watch some best kills videos on youtube for the Hitman series. It's fun to watch happen, if nothing else.
The free version you tried is just the tutorial from the first HITMAN(2016) redone in HITMAN 2. At least try the first one, you can play a couple of missions for free, instead of just the tutorial, and then decide if you like the game style. The best thing of these games is to scope out the levels and find hundreds of different ways to complete the objectives, and the tutorial mission levels are very small, they don't do justice to the rest of the game. The levels on HITMAN 2 are even bigger, but I haven't tried it yet, but they should even be more fun. I paid 40€ for the first one, and was well worth it, with the online elusive targets.

I bought Jericho from best buy years ago, i love the characters, the voice acting, the creepy voices, the storyline, RIP Agent Green, the creatures, the levels, the weapons, i just really enjoy the game. I have over 400 pc games, so i like all sort of games. Been playing games since the 1987, I'm not one of those gamers who only focus on so called AAA titles, nor am i someone who listens to someone's else review opinion. Back in the day alot of people will take IGN words of opinion about a game, i never did. I think its good people play games themselves to find out how a game is, instead of listening to other people. And that's one reason why i find fun in alot of games other people don't. because alot of people always listens to other people's views instead of playing the game for themselves. Same with the mortal kombat series, i have 3 arcade machines in my house of, MK2, MK3 AND umk3. i think the old mk games are better than the newer ones, some people don't agree. So its bascially just differences of opinion. For example, i think the 80's and 90's were the best times for music, movie and tv shows, tv sucks now compared to back in the day.

There are lots of quality stuff out there, there is just a lot of crappy competition you have to go through to find it. In relation to this game, I just recommend trying the first level (Paris) from the HITMAN 2016(its free on Steam), and explore the level before trying to do anything else. i don't recall Splinter Cell game has mode for becoming a Ninja, or start playing as fake corpse, and has sandbox environment which support you to kill creatively, etc. But i do agree to you in one point, Overprice AF, but for 102GB size of Legacy edition game, it's worth $60, but for standard? that's a rip off

It might be your first time, but pirated games are "cracked" games and that means you have to replace some files in the game's directory (the place where it got installed).
There's a folder with the files along with the downloaded game, you just have to copy and replace those files where the game was installed (not the folder itself). I haven't downloaded this game here so I don't know which files or what folder it is. Usually it's very straightforward and nowadays most cracked games give you the choice to copy the files as an extra step while installing the game (some people prefer to do it manually, maybe because sometimes the antivirus will delete some of those files)

Just tell your anti virus that the dll is safe (a lot of anti viruses you can tell them that some files are safe that they've marked as viruses).

So if you do as the guy in the video, just copy steamemuini into both retail folder, nothing will change, coz still the CODEX profile start(because of the CPY.ini.

- Open Update folder and run the .exe. Then browse, and select root folder or location of the game. Then HIT install.
- After Update (This was where I was stuck on), go to the PLAZA folder. Then copy and paste the Retail folder to your game root folder where the Launcher are.

You can complete the game in offline mode, but anything that strays from the base campaign won't be unlockable (or at least I didn't figured out how yet).
From what I've read, your profile is stored in the remote server cloud, so anything that comes from challenges, points, suits and new weapons won't be available in this cracked edition.
I would say this is fine though. The game is good enough, so I suggest to wait for a fir deal on legal reseller if you want the complete game after trying it out as a crack.

FYI, I still overclocked my graphical card with the following setting with MSI Afterburner:
Core Clock : ~+60 MHz
Memory Clock : ~+625 MHz
The recommended settings for this game look exeedingly exagerated.
And it looks like I was wrong, the S1 missions run waaaay better in this version.
If you're here I'm assuming you can't afford to buy this game, so your setting migh be a little outdated like mine, so I figured it would help before downloading 100Gb of data unsure if it would work or not.
For all I know, at worst and if I'm running out of all my luck, the game can crashes for a violated memory access and the pc needs to be rebooted. That's why it's important to check for any graphical error.
Also, I'm fairly aware OCs are suceptible of reducing the lifespan of the hardware. It's not like I'm using it for any game anyway.

1º) Download the game, put the crack of the "CPY" folder at the place where the complete game is downloaded, or wherever you put it.
2º) After that, what can be modified from the steam-emu.ini is the language and the name. The rest does not need to be changed.
3º) "CPY just configured game to be playable".
4º) Go to "launcher.exe" and do double-left click, then you will get a little tab in which you can maybe click on a button called "play".

REQUIREMENTS: CPY Crack and any USB Drive that will work on your computer.
#1 Most common error is the Launch Glitch. To fix this IGG made a crack. Most people would do the download only. Look for "CRACK ONLY" on this current page under the downloads. Download, extract it wherever it is. Go to your C: Hard Drive>ProgramFiles(x86)>Hitman 2>Retail. Once you're in your retail folder copy the extracted crack from IGG and paste it into your retail folder.
#2 Infinite Save Glitch, this is caused by the Launch Glitch. Basically Hitman 2 setup this infinite save glitch to get rid of most people who pirate. But we can fix this. In your retail folder (find it in #1 if you cannot locate it) look for, "CPY." In your Retail Folder. Once you've done this double click CPY with the little gear beside it. Look for, "SavePath=" Delete whatever is after that and put. "H:\New Folder" (Keep in mind your USB may be a different letter than mine. So if your USB says L or something make it L:\New Folder.) Keep in mind you need a new folder in your USB Drive called New Folder.
(if this method not work try to change your flashdisk letter or try format your flashdisk change to NTFS)

If this doesn't solve your problem idk what to tell you. This normally fixes 80% of the common launch errors.
I bet they didn't work on pathfinding optimisation at all, which was barely good enough for the prequel,to be taken care of by the cutting edge PCs of its release time.
The game would probably runs just fine even for a "old" gamer laptop whenever there's not a crown around, but if each NPC allocates their very own pathfinding algorithm, plus the minimal "True HD texture" AAA games are supposed to follow (which is rather questionable, the prequel was good looking enough), it's no wonder those games weight near 70-80GB and ask for the most recent graphical cards.
My point is, as a software developer myself, I know there's plenty of way to reduce the calculation time, and this game clearly does not follow them. Considering, I bet they had to rush the release and axed the nescessary time to correctly optimise the game, so instead of having a game that could pretty well correctly run on a 860M with ~12GB RAM (my own setting, minus an overclock making my graphical card reaching the level of a 960M), they force us to get ourserlves a newer and expensive setup for that, while this is mostly unnecessary for most more modest-looking games.
Still, had they worked a few more months, they could have added good, optimisation rules like preset pathfinding on very low important NPCs, stricter NPCs deallocation on memory when the camera could not see them (could be seen on the prequel if you moved really fast the camera), or reduce the NPCs texture model quality on non important parts. On the prequel, it's clear they worked on it, but not enough. This is why the game required a cutting edge graphical card on Paris, NASA specs on Italy, and simply a correct GPU on Okaido. Actually, the biggest enemy of the graphical card is the lack of walls. This is not a question of price, it's a question of level of accessibility for the game market.
Anyway, this is litteraly the first time I consider I don't have a good enough setup anymore to run a recent game I want to play correctly. But as far as I like the hitman franchize, I clearly don't think it justifies buying a GTX1070 card...

What's truely is bothersome is that to extract the parts, the compression/decompression software need to write a temporary file to be compied on the target folder, and by default it's located on the temp/ folder of the C:/ Drive. I actually found out recently this can luckily enough change this folder to another on the setting of winrar.

Especialy to the eyes of a developper, admiting the game looks pretty similar to its prequel, they sure put a lot of effort into the game maps, but they're not perfect.
It's clear the high price is a direct consequence of an unnescessary marketing.
It's fine if you don't really like that kind of game, not everyone does, but that's really the type of game it is. It's a sandbox assassination simulator meant to be played over and over again for the perfect kill. Watch some best kills videos on youtube for the Hitman series. It's fun to watch happen, if nothing else.
