I've tried using multiplayer with local multiplayer using Hamachi with a friend but we I press to button to join his hosted game the game says "disconnected from hosted game" or something like that. Any clue? Please help, I just want to play this with my friend
Confirm. Got it going with the parameters in comments, but no single player, and when I want to join or play multi, the button disappeaers, and I have to close. unplayable
My game starts and on the screen is a yellow sign. after 1 second ingame it crashes. I also tried to start the game with the shortcut parameters as admin but it also havent worked.
Hi everybody, I have a VIVE and I try some things and one works for me. Create a shortcut. write at the end this parameters: -openvr -steam. Then execute game with this shortcut and admin rigths. A lot of time of load screen but works. Another problem is that in game, ask you for single or multiplayer. Single player do nothing for me, but if you choice multi, land, host all works perfect. I haven't and oculus, but the parameters are: -oculusstore -oculus or -steam -oculus
Just to clarify for some people, what you do is right click the newly made shortcut>properties> then click at the end of the "Target" path. At the end of the quotation, add -openvr -steam. So it'll look like (not exactly like this but something like) this [target: "D:\Vrgames\steamgameblahblah\wildlands2.exe" -openvr -steam.]
ooor you can actually read the comment and see that I said the game wasn't showing up on the headset (it was just showing the normal range rings), while the monitor window was just showing the logo for a second then changing to black

Works on Rift CV1, use -openvr -steam and wait, it takes very long to load.
I also tried to start the game with the shortcut parameters as admin but it also havent worked.
Not a game for me though,getting vr sickness after 5 minutes of playing
