TO MAKE JUSTICE AND HELP: this is the infamous veryvery shitty degraded version of Hellgate "tokyo" is not the far ahead of its time game, that lot of people play, mod&patch, both single and online, nowadays, i suggest to find a original copy of original game(should be lots of torrents i have R.G.Mechanics repack), and after the old SinglePlayer 1.2 official patch gain also DX10 engine(with extreme shaders and FX, absent in this handbitsoft dammned vers) that make very impressive year 2020 visuals, almost bug free, and to go for MOD addon's. Stay far away from this, i hope also that IGG and the others software sharer recognize this and cancel the bad, injurious, korean hanbitsoft vers and put the glorious and right one!
Just FYI, I'm a former CM for T3Entertainment. The Hellgate version on steam is really Hellgate Global, the MMO version/release. We requested to the Devs and team to make the game offline playable and years later they did. The Oringial Hellgate is better in some ways ( DX10 features , visuals ), The steam version is DX9 with more content. So its good to have both. Fun games IMO, sorry you dislike the steam offline edition.

I bought and played original version when it came out. I remember how i was pissed there was not 2h swords. I hear there are In f2p version. My question is, are there 2h swords in this game version ?
hey bro i'm actually on another character level 16 and yes there is 2 handed sword (Great-sword) but they drop on enemies level 8 to 50 so on the first 10 levels of you char you will not get a drop of a great-sword...so play the game and have patience.
I'm barely starting so... The game works well for me. I just put everything in max settings and it works pretty well. The game aged very bad. But, even if I didin't played it in it's golden days, I like it so far. It has good MMORPG mechanics (I like MMORPG) and I like to have that in my computer. So far, so good. The engineer and his drones are fun and I already killed two bosses.
well i dont know if this is the games issue or what but it doesn't save my game correctly, I got past the tutorial stage all the way to Covent Garden Station, then i quiet game for awhile came back to my save to find my guy needing to do the tutorial
me its acutually worst because of the DX 10 it fuck the game the fps don't even reach 30 even putting all in minimum i cannot get 30 fps and on the 2008 version i'll get 200 fps no more no less why people even try to touch a game that it's actually okei i don't undestand their reason behind it...
This is kinda shocking for me.Back in the days were it came out,i started way to late playing this(but i love it because mixture of scifi/medi,which was quite unique action-rpg,at least for me).Instantly downlading it,hihihi.SO maybe a chance they bring the new stuff with time,to singleplayer /steam....?
this one is kinda waste of time, doesnt have the x64 exe, doesnt come with dx10 and you cant install HELLGATE London Revival nor the new Hellgate 2038 mp revival

It is as broken as it 2012 was. It has the 1 FPS bug, Alt key not working bug, missing online conntent you need to progress in the game. 1 fps bug they can't fix, if you have it the game will not be playable for you. Also the whole Tokyo dlc conntent is not in the game yet.
yeah i am typing that because most of this bugs was problem of dx10 version which is here removed, played half year ago old dx10 version and i had this problems after switching into dx9 most of problems was gone
Gonna have to give this one a try. From my understanding, this was the evolution of Diablo after II with Lord of Destruction. Those ones I'm more familiar with. I've been itching to get back into some good old fashioned ARPG again. Time to lose some sleep.
I'm considering it. Just gotta commit more time to play it. I'm backlogged af right now between PC gaming and some Switch titles to finish up. I still have to reach the end of Darkest Dungeon for god's sake. Will it never end?
Oh yeah. That one was a time well spent with the gathering loot pet assists. Had to put that game down since Divinity: Original Sin became my focused obsession at the time.

This is the Global version, the original version only had DX10 and i never had any problems once i upgraded my rig with DX10. The original i have at DX10 max settings at 1080p and it runs around 50-60fps all the time.
There is a private server for the original called Hellgate 2038 or something like that, but meh. Unless there's a hellgate MMO on steam, I'm not going to bother with it.

i just downloaded hellgate london and its saying it cant find language.dat at C:/program files (x 86)\flagship studios\hellgate london\data\language.dat how do i fix this?
