How do you guys download it so quickly? Google Chrome always takes 7 hours to download a 4GB file, my internet is way better than that- So.. help? Any suggestions? Google does this with every website pretty much when it comes to download but when using Steam or other applications it downloads quickly.

while the update 2.2.1 does work for me, ive noticed something considering i know have two game files, both 2.0 and the new one... and the latest update seems more.... ittery with animations. like times the mouse icon warps when moving and u can the see the main menu animation not progressing smoothly either.... i know its a nitpick but still

Let me explain why it asks you for a password, the game file has "2 versions" (to give an example), the first is one that has the name "Camp.Buddy.v2.1.exe" and another one called "Camp.Buddy.rar". The file "Camp.Buddy.v2.1.exe" is the one that asks you for a password, why? because this file is not the "real", how to differentiate them? "Camp.Buddy.v2.1.exe" only weighs 1.0 MB and the "Camp.Buddy.rar". weighs 4.60 MB

When playing Taiga's route, after some choices this error appears. And then this (2nd picture) appears whenever a sex scene is about to happen, and it skips right over it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Just download it and extract it, there's only one part. As for the saves: Type %appdata% into a folder address bar. It will take you to a folder called "Roaming". Scroll down to the "RenPy" folder and inside there should be a "Camp Buddy" folder. Try putting the saves you want to use in there as well.
Hey! Can some one help me? No matter what I do, Camp_Buddy.exe can't open http://Camp_Buddy.py, this started happening in the 1.2 version, then I downloaded the newest version, and this continued happening. I don't know if the problem is my computer, or what, because I've installed it in the right way, and disabled antivirus and went offline too.
So, I didn't disable it when I was downloading from the Web, but i disabled while extracting the .rar file. Do you think I need to disable while downloading? I'm sure that my antivirus isn't blocking, because it has some logs and similar things, and it didn't say anything about this particular thing. I also tried re-installing at least 5 times. I'm pretty sure it would warn you if it blocked any of the Camp Buddy files (And it would block the installation, at least It's what happens to me sometimes). And 5 times and no work? Damn.
Am I the only one who has a problem with the game gallery? I have finished Natsumi and Taiga's route, but the images that appear in the game (like the sex scenes) are not saved in the gallery. Sometimes they do, but they only disappear when I start another route. Can you help me with this problem?
Greetings! I really need some help. So, over the course of two days I downloaded all three parts of camp buddy. Part one and two were 4.99 gigs and part three was 3.25 gig. I extracted part one and all the parts extracted. I have excluded them in my antiviruses. However, when I tried to run it, this error kept on popping up. My lib file is also missing! Help!
It seems like you're using 32-bit and maybe the game requires 64-bit? You should try to download the https://www.blitsgames.com/product/camp-buddy-demo/, which is much smaller, and see if it runs. You can also try downloading other, https://itch.io/games/free/tag-renpy, renpy games and see if they run. If they do then we can likely rule this out. Personally, I would disconnect from online, turn off the antivirus, re-extract the game and run it again. If you just excluded the *.rar files it doesn't necessarily mean the antivirus won't quarantine the .exe file when you run it.
Okay, although I haven’t recently downloaded any renpy games, I have a lot of choice of games (which are renpy based) and I also have downloaded renpy games and this Error never occurred. I also have the original Camp Buddy v1.1 which I downloaded from this site but no error.
If you downloaded an .exe file then you downloaded the wrong thing. You need to download three different .rar files. There should be no password. If you downloaded something that does this, then it's wrong.

When I extracted the game it says: Camp.Buddy.v2.0.part1.rar: Packed data CRC failed in Camp.Buddy.v2.0\game\archive.rpa. The volume is corrupt. Camp.Buddy.v2.0.part2.rar: CRC failed in Camp.Buddy.v2.0\game\archive.rpa. The file is corrupt I extracted them simultaneously(1, 2, 3) and it didn't work. I extracted only part 1, still it doesn't work. I don'k know what to do anymore. The applicaion to play the game never showed up. Someone help me! T_T I moved all of them in a folder for extraction but this error message keep in showing whenever I start extracting in the middle of the process.... Someone please help me. T_T
Did you change the name of the files? I don't know why but you do that, it can also make the files corrupt Now what program did you use to extract the files? What I would recommend is that you use or win.RAR or demon tool which are recommended to use on the page And finally, what server did you use to download the files? After the one in the bottom reached 99 percent. The one in top which is archive.rpa becomes 0% then it starts to process something. But there is no green moving. Archive rpa. moves really fast. It is like downloading. Then the window disappears. When I checked the folder. There is no game at all.
I used WinRAR x86 (32 bit) 5.80 beta 4 coz it allows me to use it. When I unzip the rar. It did process but the problem is after a while. The window that is the one extracting disappears. When I check the folder where the app is located. It won't open. Even the app was not showing the logo of the game. It shows a table. When I open it.. there is an error message. T_T so the game was not properly extracted the window disappears.

Do you have all the files downloaded? if you have all the files the solution that you could give is to deactivate your antivirus and then try to extract the game and finally run it as administrator and if you do not want to deactivate your antivirus, what you can do is exclude the files from the game in antivirus, that depends on what antivirus you have if it does not help you, I will try to find another solution I hope I have helped you

Hi buddy sorry for the late reply. I think you will not lose your save although there might be a case that your save might not load or something but pretty sure it'll be fine. Same goes for the new v2.1 update that they released.
Just so you guys know I've been playing since the update came out. Taiga has two routes either him being a top or a bottom. Choose wisely if you want to get to his heart. It's amazing I prefer him being a bottom over a top though.

I was talking about v1.2, then. This version has 3 parts, part 1 and 2 are 5 gigs each and part 3 is about 3 gigs. The entire game is about 14 gigs. You need to download ALL three parts and then extract them to play the game.
To get to taiga's route just choose the options in the first 8 days that gets taiga's attention. Until day 8 (taiga options) -I don't understand -Here, you can have it back -I'm sorry -We're all friends here! -Let's do our best and have fun! Yes their is a link on the camp buddy reddit post where they have a link to his perfect and bad route. On the list it shows what options to choose for either bottom or top taiga. Just search up camp buddy red taiga route

No, that was just news and the release of the demo. Taiga's route is not out yet. July 13th was almost a month ago and the developer said about 2 weeks ago that the DLC isn't done yet.

It could depend on many things, your internet speed or what the file contains. Part 1 is 5.0 GB and Part 2 is 1.5 GB so it could depend, for me it took 2 hours, because I downloaded one part and paused the other. If you want to download both parts already, it will take longer so be patient.

When the game get's updated we can warn the devs on the "Request a Game" so they can do something about it, and even thought we don't have the paid version if someone pay's for it and gives the devs the files we can still have it just like if we bought it. No problem, I'm glad I could help!
I actually emailed BLits Games, asking if Camp Buddy will have another season like "Camp Buddy 2" wherein it's like the second term of Keitaro's adventure in Camp Buddy and they said that they are currently developing additional DLC to expand the game. I hope we can get those new updates for free :) I hope the devs will provide it soon or someone will give the files
Yes! I must add that I managed to execute it twice. I dont know why but it just worked. Ive tried to repeat it but it just boots up for a bit then crashes before the game window appears
In the latest update they added a bio which says everyone is at least 18, and it manages to make the relationships more creepy. Everyone is now a manchild in need of therapy.

Hi guys, I finished download both files Part 1 and Part 2. Also when I extract Part 2 I doesn't show or required a password. Download it on Good Drive for safety and use Winrar to extract. Maybe the other alternative link put a password on it but on Google Drive it has no password. And last tract files in different folder name no need to replace it will show an error, your save data game are save in different folder so when you play the part 2 of the game it will automatically continue. Download links from "Part 1" and "Part 2". When you have both, extract from "Part 1" (Camp.Buddy.v1.2.part1.rar) and it will extract from both files. If you're doing that and you see an error, use winrar/7zip to extract and/or download the part the error is coming from again.

Something like "Wrong data in file 'X'. The file is corrupted" in the remarks section when you extract the files? Had the same when I extracted part 1 and 2 separately. Try opening your "unzipping" program (I use 7-zip for example), select both parts and unzip them together in one go.

They should transfer over by themselves since the game still pulls the saves from the same place. C:\Users{Username}\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\CampBuddy-1501675856 <--- that's where your saves should be and as long as they're there they'll transfer over on their own
I think they added in canon ages - at least I didn't see them before. And I think they shouldn't have done it at all. Everyone is supposedly 18+, but they act so childlike it makes it seem like a camp for the developmentally challenged. The counselors seem patronizing now. Yes, I'm pretty sure. The thing is the game has different endings with each guy depending on your score. IIRC there were at least 16, 4 for each dude in the 1.1 version. They're not extremely different though.
Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.

Day 1-8 determines which partner Keitaro will pursue. On the following days onward, you just have to choose the worst possible choices to keep your score low and eventually you'll get a crack scene (Hiro X Yoichi or Natsumi X Hunter). The corresponding days of the crack scenes differ from each character with Yoichi and Hiro getting a crack scene from day 20, Hunter on day 11 and Natsumi on day 15. Hopefully that answers your problem XD
That, I think, are the crack scenes. To get them, there's another with Hunter and the blue haired guy, you have to have a very low score with your target before a certain day. This way, the guy is less sure about your relationship and bangs someone else. To get a very low score, you simply say the wrong things.
All of the time. Criticize them, disagree with them, make suggestions they don't care for. Example: With Yoichi, plant the stick way up your ass. With Hunter, act like a dumb jerk.

After I finished the download, I first unzipped Part1. But when I want to decompress Part2, it shows that there is no file in the second part to unzip. Should I unzip them simultaneously?
Just wondering, how do I delete my save data? I was able to update the game with my save intact but the game is really laggy. Especially when I'm in Gallery or after journal mini game. Maybe the lag will stop if I start the game anew.
Try typing %appdata% in your address bar in a folder. You'll be taken to a new folder, scroll down to "RenPy", open it and delete the Camp Buddy folder.

I don't. I play all sorts of visual novels but sometimes I take long breaks because so many follow an extremely similar pattern, which is why I skipped the Incubus one. But if you aren't aware, there's a site called VNDB which contains lists of various VN's. You can separate by language, Boy X Boy, furry, etc.

Open a folder, in your address bar write %appdata% It will go to a new folder, there's a Renpy folder in there, delete it or open it up and delete the Camp Buddy folder. Or try deleting all of your saves

There is a bug in day 31. When Hunter parents come and meet Hunter, don't know why but Hunter Dad have Aiden chat log and alot of charater say the same thing
In the shower bit, the body you pick adds a point to the guy. Almost all choices give you points for someone. And the routes are chosen by who you have the most points with on day 8. Just choose Hunter like answers, flirt, be nice to him, etc.

The game doesn't need a crack, or is already cracked. The video guide is a generic tutorial that works for most games. I did a little test and "Camp_Buddy.exe" and "http://Camp_Buddy.py" should be in the same folder. If they're not, you get an error. Your folder should look like this

I was gonna download the 7.7gb version but didn't, thank God. Anyway, I just discovered I'm gay so I'm tryna test out the yaoi stuff. Before I felt kinda awkward lol. Coming Out On Top didn't work on my PC so this seems like the next best thing. This game is apparently super long, and it seems like they're still releasing content for it?? Apparently this was made by a few of the same guys who created Bacchikoi and Sleepover (so high production values despite it not coming from Japan). The group went under though so they split into two.
Coming out on top wasn't working on my PC either, but when I changed the clock of my computer it worked just fine. Try to change your clock to January 2000 for exemple. I suggest 'No thank you!' and 'Hadaka shitsuji' as other games of the genre.

I almost finished all routes, I'm only missing hunter's x'D For those who don't know (couse I didn't), there's a door in the Main Screen, if you click on it, you will access the Secret Gallery, the Crack Scenes, the Dressing Room, and the games Sound Track! There're 2 crack scenes, 1 for Natsumi x Hunter (day 15) and another one with Hiro x Yoichi (day 20), which you can unlock in any of their routes just keep giving the bad answers.
nope you on't have ot clear all routes. There're 2 crack scenes. one can be unlocked in either Natsumi or Hunter's Route. If you do it in Natsumi's Route you'll unlock it till day 15, in the beach. To do so you need to keep giving NAtsumi the wrong answers before day 15, only then, will you obtain the scene. For the other scene, you can get it in either Yoichi or Hiro's Route. You'll get it till day 20 in both routes though. I suggest you unlock the scene via Yoichi's route, it's one of the best in the game IMHO.
It's just like tatumon said, but I want to explain in more detail. For you and anyone else. When you're on a route with a guy, almost every choice you make adds or takes away from a 'score'. For example, criticizing Hiro could lose you -2 points with him, while agreeing with him could get you +2 points. To get the crack scenes, your score with the guy has to be 0 or less by a certain day (the days tatumon listed). On those days there will be a part in the story where the crackpair are alone, and if your score is 0 or less, then you'll get difference choices giving you a chance for to see the scenes. Slight spoilery example: In Hiro's route, Yoichi propositions Hiro in the shower. If your score is above 0, all the options will have Hiro rejecting Yoichi or vice versa. If it's below, two of the choices instead will make Hiro receptive.
Just in case you didn't know, you need to be choosing wrong/bad options from the start. You can go about this by choosing options that go against character type - being reckless for Natsumi, and choosing options that support other character's ideas - choosing to let taiga's bullying go for Yoichi. If you're interested in cheating then you can download the renpy save editor. You load your save, type in the character's name. You'll see "score_(name)" and then change the value to -80. Load the game with that save and it will work. With this you can also see the all the various endings for each character without playing the whole game 16 times.
there're 2 crack scenes, 1 for Natsumi/Hunter and another one for Hiro and Yoichi. You have to play either of their routes and just keep giving them bad answers. Natsumi/Hunter 's route unlocks at day 15. Hiro/Yoichi 's unlocks at day 20.

You should give it a shot, I try all sorts of VN's even if I'm not into what they're selling. Then again maybe you have and still aren't interested. But otome games seem pretty rare though.
Yup I use the same approach when it comes to visual novels. Good stories will stay good no matter from who's perspective they're told. But it doesn't work for me when it comes to purely romance oriented ones. There are quite a few otoge in japanese market. Unfortunately they hardly get translated at all.
I used to be the same, I felt weird with most of the ones with male protags and stuff but now I try not to care much. It helps that I found out that I'm a trans dude after all lmao but like... most otomege seem like absolute shit so you have to either stick with lesbian/yuri VNs or Fashioning Miss Lonesome or OELVNs.
Fashioning Miss Lonesome but that may have been indie after all. There are yuri VNs but that's it. Otomege never get translated and they seem pretty bad anyway (lots of sexism etc).
Swapping genders / ambiguous genders are not as common in Japanese visual novels as it is in Western ones. In Japan, there's a clear divide between "bishojo games" (BxG), "otome games" (GxB), "yuri games" (GxG), and "yaoi games" (BxB).
Yeah, that's true. I know the problem with otome games though, it's hard to find them. But now I don't care much anymore. I wish there were more yaoi VNs at least. I'm not really into women, but I stay for the characters lol
The whole tentacle thing came about due to the censorship. Instead of penises being inserted (which would get the censorship God's panties in a twist) they thought, what other long, hard, and slime-covered thing can we insert instead to get around this? So basically, a bunch of tightwads put down the rules on censorship, and manga, anime, and game makers all over Japan got creative in their attempts to find loopholes.

yes there will be a Taiga Route and a Yoshinori x Goro Route They will be added in further updates. IGG hasn't updated to v1.1, however, v1.1 doesn't have Taiga route yet either but it will let you get the perfect endings for all characters. I don't know if there will ever be an Aiden x Yoshinori route though. There're so many characters and each one deserves his own route, the game is pretty epic to say the least. Having so much fun x'D
What do you mean put them together? When you extract them (through 7zip or winrar), it should automatically do it itself, when you extract part 1. Are you doing it another way instead?
I hope you update this version, the recent version already came out, they made the game 3.3 GB now, and they fixed a bug in which any route couldn't have a good ending.
And I just finished downloading the 7.7 GB of this dang game. They compressed it to 3.3 GB now? Man my bandwidth. You can request the update in the Game Request section. It's the fastest and most reliable way than here. Though I'm not sure they will update anytime soon. IGG did not buy this one, so update will be at the mercy of whoever donated this game in the first place.

They look, and act no older than 15 or so. Although no one's age is defined in the game obviously. Aging them up would require drastic rewrites to the backstories and the setting. And at that point, you might as well make an entirely new story. They could probably just cut all the sex, and it'd be fine as an anime.

Entirely depends on how IGG sourced the game files. With the price it was at, I somewhat doubt that he bought it, which means the updates are at the mercy of wherever he got the files in the first place. Only way to find out for sure is to request it when it comes out.

Well it's a gay visual novel, similar to Coming Out on Top. But instead of hunky dudes, the characters are.. how should I say it, leaner? Slimmer? Younger? It's a, oh for God's sake it's shota. More precisely it's a mix between shota and twinks. What is shota? Well to put it simply, it's the male version of loli. Now I'm not saying that they are underage or something, they are of legal age(stated in the patreon page). Again, I'm not implying that this is a full blown shota, this is a more of a mix between shota and twinks. Sure their face is boyish but their overall appearance is like a teen, with lil muscles and all. If you've played Bacchikoi, it's basically that with a camp setting. This is definitely not everyone's cup of tea. But if you enjoyed it, then by all means play. For others, well just be nice.
Definitely not my cup of tea. And for those who prefer more mature looking characters, there are Yoshinori, Goro and Aiden for you. Yoshinori will be able to romance either Goro or Aiden. Not sure how it will show up in the game, since none of them are a main character.

No matter what I do, Camp_Buddy.exe can't open http://Camp_Buddy.py, this started happening in the 1.2 version, then I downloaded the newest version, and this continued happening. I don't know if the problem is my computer, or what, because I've installed it in the right way, and disabled antivirus and went offline too.
I'm sure that my antivirus isn't blocking, because it has some logs and similar things, and it didn't say anything about this particular thing.
I also tried re-installing at least 5 times.

I have finished Natsumi and Taiga's route, but the images that appear in the game (like the sex scenes) are not saved in the gallery.
Sometimes they do, but they only disappear when I start another route.

Personally, I would disconnect from online, turn off the antivirus, re-extract the game and run it again. If you just excluded the *.rar files it doesn't necessarily mean the antivirus won't quarantine the .exe file when you run it.
If you downloaded something that does this, then it's wrong.

Now what program did you use to extract the files? What I would recommend is that you use or win.RAR or demon tool which are recommended to use on the page

coz it allows me to use it. When I unzip the rar. It did process but the problem is after a while. The window that is the one extracting disappears. When I check the folder where the app is located. It won't open. Even the app was not showing the logo of the game. It shows a table. When I open it.. there is an error message. T_T

if you have all the files the solution that you could give is to deactivate your antivirus and then try to extract the game and finally run it as administrator
and if you do not want to deactivate your antivirus, what you can do is exclude the files from the game in antivirus, that depends on what antivirus you have if it does not help you, I will try to find another solution I hope I have helped you

July 13th was almost a month ago and the developer said about 2 weeks ago that the DLC isn't done yet.

Part 1 is 5.0 GB and Part 2 is 1.5 GB so it could depend, for me it took 2 hours, because I downloaded one part and paused the other.
If you want to download both parts already, it will take longer so be patient.
For now the version is updated (1.2) but it seems we will receive an update later this year with Taiga's Secret Route check their website for more.

Download it on Good Drive for safety and use Winrar to extract.
Maybe the other alternative link put a password on it but on Google Drive it has no password.
And last tract files in different folder name no need to replace it will show an error, your save data game are save in different folder so when you play the part 2 of the game it will automatically continue.

The thing is the game has different endings with each guy depending on your score. IIRC there were at least 16, 4 for each dude in the 1.1 version. They're not extremely different though.

Just wondering though, since updating my game to v1.2 the photo in Keitaro frog album wherein he was doing it alone in the shower can't be unlocked. I tried doing the scene again but the photo still can't be unlocked. Is it just my game or did this happen to you too? The photo was there before updating to the new version.
Btw, do you have other bl games you could recommend? I played To Trust an Incubus but I did not like it that much. I've already played Bacchikoi and its expansion pack. I also have Chasing the Stars but have not started playing that yet.

Here's a perfect end guide, just click the character you want at the bottom. I think there's also a guide on wikia. Or anywhere else, probably. The game has been out a while.
If you still can't access the perfect ending, then I suggest redownloading - because I have gotten specifically Natsumi's perfect ending.
Anyway, I just discovered I'm gay so I'm tryna test out the yaoi stuff. Before I felt kinda awkward lol. Coming Out On Top didn't work on my PC so this seems like the next best thing.

Apparently this was made by a few of the same guys who created Bacchikoi and Sleepover (so high production values despite it not coming from Japan). The group went under though so they split into two.
I suggest 'No thank you!' and 'Hadaka shitsuji' as other games of the genre.
Because it seems strange to jump to 1.1 to 2.0. At least unless there was a huge update, and according the VNDB, Taiga's route won't added until 2019.

For those who don't know (couse I didn't), there's a door in the Main Screen, if you click on it, you will access the Secret Gallery, the Crack Scenes, the Dressing Room, and the games Sound Track!
There're 2 crack scenes, 1 for Natsumi x Hunter (day 15) and another one with Hiro x Yoichi (day 20), which you can unlock in any of their routes just keep giving the bad answers.
and also, how I can unlocked the crack scenes? Must I cleared all 4 stories?
There're 2 crack scenes.
one can be unlocked in either Natsumi or Hunter's Route. If you do it in Natsumi's Route you'll unlock it till day 15, in the beach. To do so you need to keep giving NAtsumi the wrong answers before day 15, only then, will you obtain the scene.
For the other scene, you can get it in either Yoichi or Hiro's Route. You'll get it till day 20 in both routes though.
I suggest you unlock the scene via Yoichi's route, it's one of the best in the game IMHO.
When you're on a route with a guy, almost every choice you make adds or takes away from a 'score'. For example, criticizing Hiro could lose you -2 points with him, while agreeing with him could get you +2 points.
To get the crack scenes, your score with the guy has to be 0 or less by a certain day (the days tatumon listed). On those days there will be a part in the story where the crackpair are alone, and if your score is 0 or less, then you'll get difference choices giving you a chance for to see the scenes.
Slight spoilery example: In Hiro's route, Yoichi propositions Hiro in the shower. If your score is above 0, all the options will have Hiro rejecting Yoichi or vice versa. If it's below, two of the choices instead will make Hiro receptive.
If you're interested in cheating then you can download the renpy save editor. You load your save, type in the character's name. You'll see "score_(name)" and then change the value to -80. Load the game with that save and it will work. With this you can also see the all the various endings for each character without playing the whole game 16 times.
You have to play either of their routes and just keep giving them bad answers.
Natsumi/Hunter 's route unlocks at day 15.
Hiro/Yoichi 's unlocks at day 20.

IGG hasn't updated to v1.1, however, v1.1 doesn't have Taiga route yet either but it will let you get the perfect endings for all characters.
I don't know if there will ever be an Aiden x Yoshinori route though.

You can request the update in the Game Request section. It's the fastest and most reliable way than here.
Though I'm not sure they will update anytime soon. IGG did not buy this one, so update will be at the mercy of whoever donated this game in the first place.

So for those who don't know, what is Camp Buddy? Well it's a gay visual novel, similar to Coming Out on Top. But instead of hunky dudes, the characters are.. how should I say it, leaner? Slimmer? Younger? It's a, oh for God's sake it's shota. More precisely it's a mix between shota and twinks.

Again, I'm not implying that this is a full blown shota, this is a more of a mix between shota and twinks. Sure their face is boyish but their overall appearance is like a teen, with lil muscles and all. If you've played Bacchikoi, it's basically that with a camp setting.
This is definitely not everyone's cup of tea. But if you enjoyed it, then by all means play. For others, well just be nice.
We do not distinguish the genre, because simply, so many types of people on this earth, that's why we have so many different genres of games, if you don't like it, does not mean others don't like it.
