@ALL: If you downloaded the previous version (14 part), it doesn't work. I sincerely apologize for this. The reason was because my disk size was at 100% at the time I uploaded that game, and I didn't notice it. Instead it would compress 19 parts, it stopped. I had to re-upload this version (19 parts), but unfortunately people who have previously downloaded cannot use these last 5 parts with the previous version (I don't understand how winRAR works, though i always compress the same option, but i tried, it doesn't work together). So if you have wasted your time downloading the buggy version (14 part). Please accept my apologies, I really don't want this to happen, I know it's a waste of your time.

For anyone that has a problem with crashing after a few sec, I found a way that worked for me. Go to CODEX\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv132\Win64 and copy the files then go to your game files and replace the files from Engine with the ones from CODEX (ARK Survival Evolved Genesis Part 2\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv132\Win64), do the same thing with CODEX\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64 and copy and paste the files in ARK Survival Evolved Genesis Part 2\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64. Hope it works for you too!
I remember when this game was over 226gb a few years ago after playing it and my character just crapping his pants and moaning all the time after i built a toilet for him and he had his own little medical cabinet and still all he did was moan and **** his pants thats when i decided to delete this game just because it's big doesnt mean it's good! Thinking back now it's funny i see why everyone laughed when i showed them what my character was doing at the time i was so upset i worked on him for almost a whole year before he went all bowels up.Good luck for those that wish to waste 336GB. There is just too many much better games to play then this Gigabite eating game.

Any way to mod this? I placed mods both zipped, and unzipped giving off the mod workshop ID number as a folder name in 2 different locations such as shootergame/content/mods and shootergame/seekfreecontent/mods both turn with same results, no mods show, I did a few mods examples of Clear Water, Naturalism 2, and ARK Uncut 2.1

no, no, ARK without the DLCs is ~100GB, ARK with all DLCs is almost 300, the update REPLACES some files so it doesn't just add new ones. The game is HORRIBLY optimized, we're talking pokemon sun/moon levels of asset redundancy

Redownload it again. It got interrupted mid download and some of the data is corrupted makeing it unusable again, but only redownload the file that is corrupted alright?
IGG doesn't control download speeds on the external file hosts it uses exclusively. Some of the file hosts are absolute garbage. Use http://mega.nz and google drive when available, no speed limits
Very, very much appreciate everything IGG is doing here, so, believe me, I'm not meaning this to complain! But I don't really understand why this game can't be uploaded with the DLCs in separated links (like they do here with a lot of games that have secondary updates), so that those who've already downloaded the core game can just grab the DLCs without having to download the whole massive collection again. From what I've seen of this game on my computer, the DLC components are exclusive sets of packages within the file structure of the overall game, and therefore should (as far as I understand it) be able to be pretty easily separated into their own individual downloads. (Even if they update certain other files in the core directories to go along with DLC updates, those specific altered files could feasibly just be included in the singular DLC archive, for users to overwrite as they add the new content to their existing install.) Considering that, along with the fact that A) the DLCs have tended to come out in very separately staggered releases from the core game, and B) this game in particular is ridiculously massive in size for IGG to have to re-upload and have users re-download the whole thing again with each new DLC release, I don't quite understand why this can't be a candidate for having separate links below the main links where visitors can download the DLCs individually. Am I missing something in that assessment that I should understand better?
The thing is your gripe isn't with IGG, it's with whatever group cracked this. IGG doesn't make these releases, they just get them from wherever scene groups upload cracked games and then they upload them here for us to download. IGG does nothing to these updates other than zip them with a couple of links and a read me file. Honestly, I have no idea why scene groups release DLC, expansions and/or major updates with the full game for people to download all over again rather than just release them separately, but it is what it is, right? We can either spend money for the game or time and bandwidth for them...you just have to decide for yourself which is easier for you to come by..
Thanks for the reply and insights! I get the expedience of packaging DLC with the core game for some. But for games where the add-on stuff ends up being its own equally massive (and separable) file structure, or comes out progressively, way after the core release was posted, it just feels a bit counterproductive to the whole intent of getting that new content out there to the scene.
Oh, I agree with you, I was just letting you know that IGG isn't to blame for the decision to pack the DLC with the base game. That's someone else's decision.
I played this game at one point. I found a bug or issue within the game where wild dinos would attack me from underground and none of the tamed dinos could attack and died. The game is slightly rage inducing when you are flying on a dino and log out or hit the e button you are used to pressing in every other game out there. The devs have not fixed most of the issues people have with it, and I have to say 224GB is far too much for my own computer. I'm still glad this is up here for those that want to try it out.
Wait a min it says Storage: 60 GB available space but i just checked my drive storage and this game takes up 187GB!!! i'm still using the 298.3 patch and to get it up to date from what i seen, The total for this game is 224GB so i have to update another 40GB? UGH! i'm going to leave the game as is! For one game i think it's too much! I checked epic games store just for the original ark game with no dlc the game is 107.81GB Update: i just played this game for over 2 hours and discovered i actually hate it! I thought you build to escape the planet! but no ! i rode a dino and fought other dino's It felt like a ramped up version of Stomp land! I see now why they are offering this game for free! I'm so glad i can now get my 187gb back for much better games instead! I played in creative mode and all my guy did was moan and poop! you can get this free on epic games store with quite a few DLC addons right now. and i will say its roughly 200gb dam near as big as modernwarfare is at this time.... and thats without the other two addons
dont know what ya mean bud, but in order to actually play, you gotta open epic games store once downloaded, hover over the dots on the ark game, click manage dlc tick all four dlc packages hit apply, then allow it to download all the DLC addons then itll work, i at first thought i had to buy some shit then i figured out the DLC wasnt turned on. IT WORKS perfectly fine. only no mods yet, supposedly its coming soon tho.

this is most likely to late but I recommend project zomboid it is a top down game it has all of the survival aspects you wanted, but it does have zombies however there is an option to set the zombie multiplier to 0%
yes, it would eventually turn in to a survival farming game if you took the zombies out but you would still need to eat, sleep, drink and most importantly not pass out from exhaustion outside in the middle of winter.

So My game gets stuck at version 298.4 instead of getting version 306.83. Select and Extract all of em, after which u get folder like - ARK_SE in which u will probably find installer. Install and crack if needed and Ur good to go.

If having an issue launching the game it may be due to the crack being put in the wrong folder, it doesn't go into the same folder as the ShooterGame.exe but in ARK Survival Evolved Valguero\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv132\Win64
ok so i get an error saying 3 different .dll's not found.... The code execution cannot proceed because XINPUT1_3.dll, X3DAudio1_7.dll, and XAPOFX1_5.dll was not found. I didnt see any "crack" so my question is did i miss something somewhere or did my install just screw up somewhere?

how much space does the entire updated thing take? i downloaded the game itself (that's about 166gb large) and wanted to start the updates with the first v286.103 update. - that is supposed to be 71,89gb big? (according to the installer) And that's only 1 out of 4 updates. is a part of the files from the updates getting exchanged with game files already there so in the end it will take less than the actuall 71,89gb? and there's no way of uninstalling the update itself later right? 'i'm reaaaally tight with disk space rn, so i'm getting worried here xD
The game or any game for that matter shouln't take up 166gb of space unless you didn't delete the .iso and setup bins after installing the game through the setup.exe. even with the updates that's roughly 5-6gb total and the game should be below 70gb. If you're low on space its always easier to buy a 400gb microSD with SD adapter and use that as storage, but that's if you have spare funds available.
Naah, i donwloaded the iso on my D: drive and installed it on my old H: (hdd, 'couse no sadly i can't afford more fancy drivers), i literally measured the folder of the game itself and, just like the istaller said, it's 166gb huge. so, thinking further, if it's as big as the installer said, are the updates as big as their installer say as well? of does part of the files get exchanged with files that are already there or something (so in the end it takes less space) do u have the game and all the updates? how much space does it take you? :o
So apparently when the Requirements wrote 60GB, they only meant the primary game (which is roughly 70GB), the expansions like Extinction, Abberation, Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, etc (which are mostly maps) are the other part of the 166GB (96GB). Most of the updates are just overwriting some data and only a decently small part is added. Frankly speaking it shouldn't go over 170GB. The space requirements for the updates is probably taking into account the main game and the update bin as one entity so that's why it's so big
i don't care about what the requirements wrote, neither was i questioning why the game is this big since it's obvious to me (you were the one claiming this game or any other shouldn't take up to 166gb and how i probably just forgot to delete the bin xD) what i've been asking is simply - how much space the whole, updated thing takes; and answering that is as simple as let your pc count up the folder of your updated game and let me know (like i did in the screenshot above). After all the updates the space the game takes up is 163 GB (175,811,501,856 bytes) and contains 70,736 Files, 6,057 Folders. I have the same exact problem. the game is 166 gb without updates. The setup bins is on another HDD. I downloads on drive D: and install it on Drive C: so on C: there is only the actual game. And for an 800MB install it tell me that it need 71 GB free? How the hell is this works?
If you mean the updates then it probably (Probably) combines the main game and update space occupancy as one entity whereas the real update just overwrites some stuff and adds some other stuff so with all the updates the game shouldn't go over 170GB if not 180GB
What about the TLC Pass-es? Do the changes come with the updates, or is the dino-data/modules already updated in the game files themself? Uff, i have no idea how to form the question, lol Basically, what about the tlc pass? does it come with anything of this?

Yes, you mean the codex-ark.survival..., using winrar right? Umm, my problem is similar to the comment below. I think my procedure was off because all i did was use winrar to open setup.exe. Was that the only thing i had to do? Can you send me instruction step by step on downloading using uTorrent and winrar. This would be really helpful.
all of the part files and the torrent have an iso in which you can use DAEMON Tools Lite for installing with make sure you tell it to install the codex crack the update files just unrar them and update the client starting with V286.103 and ending with V293.103 make sure you use the codex crack with these too it should give you an option to tick the install codex crack for the game and the updates (see pic below) if you didnt choose to install the codex crack along side the main installation you well get 3 secs of music playing then it well close out

Yea i dig all around too, and find only two solutions for it, you either use epidemic launcher or buy the game. Thank you for your help tho, the s+ integrated in the latest version of crack by codex only adds structure but it's fine tho since you can stack items as many as you like
It's nice that there is Ark as cracked version, also nice that there are updates. Only that no mods can be installed, added, that bothers quite. I play completely alone, so it's not so easy to get everything. Please program it so that mods can be installed. Is there already a possibility? i placed all of mine in any folder that said Mods after that i had to manually turn them on in C:\Games\ARK Survival Evolved Extinction\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini you are looking for ActiveMods= (line 195 if you are using notepad++) under [ServerSettings] (line 154 if you are using notepad++) make sure your updated to the lattes update or UPDATE V293.103
So only some of the mods will work as most of them i have found out are out of date also we need to find another ark mod downloader as wee need the .mod file for the out of date ones to work
that's what i did the first time was i manually extracted the zip and placed it in the mod folder right now i'm having to re download the game because i accidentally deleted a file and it caused a boat load a bugs to appear in game once i get it downloaded and installed again i'm going to continue to scouring the net to find a working method for getting the mods to work i'll let you know what i come up with once i'm done and try and explain the best i can on what to do

So I downloaded and installed this version. I also installed the starting fix posted by Ryan Hensley below. Now the game is starting. :) But is there any way I can play this game now in LAN mode? Because we have 2 PCs here but can't see each other's server. Or is LAN coop mode only available for original Steam version? We have Win7 64bit and Firewarls turned off.
I reinstalled your patch, but it didnt work. What I saw: My ingame version is 285.104 Do I have to install the updates to 287.123 first and the re-install your patch to get it work maybe? I thought the current version was already included in the big 60GB download...
So... I downloaded and upgraded to patch 287.123 and tried with and without your "multiplayer crack" linked below. But still nothing. If I try to connect to my server manually via CMD "Shootergame.exe +connect :" the game starts, but then a dialog pops up trying to connect to server. There are two buttons and but both just bring you back to main menu. Don't know what else to test. Very frustrating... Can anybody post in here, where all this is working? And which steps he/she takes to create a LAN server and connects properly?
So I bought the game on a cheap sale. Everything is working now. But the difference in the dedicated game server is: On the cracked version, there is an error message "gethostname failure ()" (or something like that) several times the server is starting. So this might be the reason it does not work.

Language i can tell you. Codex is allways in gamefolder "Codex.ini" and savegames are open documents. not like all others in private docs. Servers u can forgot .it´s cracked. maybe private server or LAN. but i don´t think so. it´s for singleplayer

turn your virus settings off or set to allow for the folder the exe is in. and you gotta update all try running the game as admin, i do know my other pc wouldnt run it but its cpu limited.....

Still no word on how to put mods into the game manually? I have the mods downloaded just cant put them into the game itself manually.. I even found a couple of mod folders, placed the mods in both folders and it didnt work (one being \ShooterGame\SeekFreeContent\Mods\ and the other being \ShooterGame\Content\Mods) I even changed the GameUserSettings.ini in \ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\ folder, the section where it says ActiveMods= (placed the mod ID here), and still no prevail, please note, all this was located in the install location, not the computer directory default.. Any help on this matter would be appreciated by everyone, myself including, without resorting to using a steam program to install mods..
it's been years since ive modded so i cant remember the name. But there is one where you can trick steam that you own the game. google spacewar and maybe you can find the mod installer. sorry if it's vague, but a mod installer does exist
If I downloaded this and was to buy a copy from steam at some point would it be possible to extract it into my steams game folder without the crack of course and hit the install button to detect files already there would that work or no? Also I guess what would happen if I didn't buy all 3 DLCs tho.

you can even put the crack, steam make a checksum and redownload only files that isn't the same. for that, you need to start the steam isntal, stop it after a few secondes, stop steam, copy all your game, then retat steam and the download

You need to redownload the game because I had the 275.0 too but it's a too old version of the game, the updates only add some fixes, the rest is the entire game with extinction.

Almost any game that works online and supports controllers can be made a spliscreen games by running 2 instances and fitting them to the screen and joining the same server. Needs a beast pc though since you're running 2 games at once.
It is definitely possible when playing offline. Just not with this version. Crashes every single time I go to sign in the 2nd player. We ended up buying it for xbox either way, but I just figured I would update here..

I had an similar issue, there was a reply earlier that stated you could just run the battleye version. I have since narrowed it down to the codex profile. If you just remove them in engine/binaries/thirdparty/steamworks/steamv132/win64 It seems to work. Battleye stops the steam_api.dll and codex.dll, I just moved them up a directory in case I find a better solution

From what I've seen of this game on my computer, the DLC components are exclusive sets of packages within the file structure of the overall game, and therefore should (as far as I understand it) be able to be pretty easily separated into their own individual downloads. (Even if they update certain other files in the core directories to go along with DLC updates, those specific altered files could feasibly just be included in the singular DLC archive, for users to overwrite as they add the new content to their existing install.)
Considering that, along with the fact that A) the DLCs have tended to come out in very separately staggered releases from the core game, and B) this game in particular is ridiculously massive in size for IGG to have to re-upload and have users re-download the whole thing again with each new DLC release, I don't quite understand why this can't be a candidate for having separate links below the main links where visitors can download the DLCs individually.
Am I missing something in that assessment that I should understand better?
Honestly, I have no idea why scene groups release DLC, expansions and/or major updates with the full game for people to download all over again rather than just release them separately, but it is what it is, right? We can either spend money for the game or time and bandwidth for them...you just have to decide for yourself which is easier for you to come by..
I get the expedience of packaging DLC with the core game for some. But for games where the add-on stuff ends up being its own equally massive (and separable) file structure, or comes out progressively, way after the core release was posted, it just feels a bit counterproductive to the whole intent of getting that new content out there to the scene.

i downloaded the game itself (that's about 166gb large) and wanted to start the updates with the first v286.103 update. - that is supposed to be 71,89gb big? (according to the installer) And that's only 1 out of 4 updates.
is a part of the files from the updates getting exchanged with game files already there so in the end it will take less than the actuall 71,89gb? and there's no way of uninstalling the update itself later right?

on Drive C: so on C: there is only the actual game. And for an 800MB

I think my procedure was off because all i did was use winrar to open setup.exe. Was that the only thing i had to do?
Can you send me instruction step by step on downloading using uTorrent and winrar. This would be really helpful.
the update files just unrar them and update the client starting with V286.103 and ending with V293.103 make sure you use the codex crack with these too
it should give you an option to tick the install codex crack for the game and the updates
(see pic below)
if you didnt choose to install the codex crack along side the main installation

It had to do with the game not properly cracking I believe. I had to turn firewall off then place the crack files then launch the game.

I also installed the starting fix posted by Ryan Hensley below. Now the game is starting. :)
But is there any way I can play this game now in LAN mode? Because we have 2 PCs here but can't see each other's server. Or is LAN coop mode only available for original Steam version? We have Win7 64bit and Firewarls turned off.

I downloaded and upgraded to patch 287.123 and tried with and without your "multiplayer crack" linked below.
But still nothing.
If I try to connect to my server manually via CMD "Shootergame.exe +connect :" the game starts, but then a dialog pops up trying to connect to server. There are two buttons and but both just bring you back to main menu.
Don't know what else to test. Very frustrating...

Everything is working now.
But the difference in the dedicated game server is:
On the cracked version, there is an error message "gethostname failure ()" (or something like that) several times the server is starting.
So this might be the reason it does not work.
I can't even see my own dedicated game server on the same PC?!
