With that, enter the menu and go to sound and mark down and up at maximum volume, then your game will return to normal. This bug occurred to me too, but it will fix it.
Fell off the map while going inside the cage where the monster supposedly escaped from, so heads up to whoever else is dumb enough to walk into that suspicious orange floor.
When i open it i cant see the menu but i can hear the music, after pressing some keys it loads up short monologue thing and then the game starts but its all black and red and i can barely see anything, is there anyway to fix this?
If you have Issues with Black Screen ( fix 1 ) or No sound in gameplay (sound in menu but not gameplay ) (fix 2 ) follow the instructions below :
Fix 1 - Black Screen (Credits to Steam user Mr Cuddle Buns):
Start the game normally. When you hear the music, press the following:down, down, enter (this will put you into options), then down, hold right (this will slide the gamma up and you'll be able to see the game)might as well show the structure of the entire menu/options if those instructions are too vague
menu screen: PLAY (you start here) EXTRA OPTIONS EXIT
options screen: GAMMA VOLUME FOV INVERT Y FILM GRAIN MOTION BLUR DELETE DATA BACK (you start here)
There you go. noticed there wasnt a fix for this when it was pretty simple, just had to fumble around in the options screen in the dark.

In the starting menu, just jiggle the volume slider up and down a few times, then start the game.

The main menu still has the sounds and anything and when i wait long enough a cutscene plays but it just sends me back to the black screen menu. I can't play it
when i start the game it appears only a black screen but with menu music, i cant play when i start a game, the text from the first gameplay appears and then nothing just blackness and no sound.
Never heard about it.
