my friends, what a good game, it's been a while since I played games in this style since ps1, I strongly recommend the game, it seems like a simple rpg maker thing but the game holds you too much and every death lol I made a gameplay of the beginning of it on my channel go check it out .
I mean the "new" content is only 2 lines in the end and the "hard mode" can't even be named like that Overall, the hype that this "remake" got is not deserved and the only thing this MV version is worth for is to support the creator I was expecting something like Misao definitive version, or mad father but this is not the case, there's almost no new content and to me, nothing improved at all. Just disappointed with this, nothing to say about the original game though, if you like plot-twists and indie horror rpg games with puzzles and an actual story this is your mesh
I know how you feel... This story has one of the most tragic characters in the genre... I won't leave a spoiler but this one doesn't end on a happy note... It might seem as a happy ending given who the MC is but... You'll know what I mean if you've played it yourself so I don't need to say it now, do I? I don't want to open that shelf either.
I actually looked the up the endings after I completed the game,i wanted to see if I made a mistake and I even told myself this has to be a fake ending oh man how I wish I was right
ok yeah i remember what you're talking about, is it the shelf you go to where it's the room above the basket with the bears? i remember doing this, it shows that the witch is actually trapped and wants to go back in real body which is actually controlled by witch yeah? damn this is a good game beautiful like Chelyabinsk.
Crazy. One of the great classics of Horror RPG in the past decade has been revived!? One of the great classics along with Ao Oni, Misao, Madfather and Ib has received a remake! Amazing! Ao Oni had an anime so following trends... Ib or any of these would soon have remake or anime or something. Mogeko House is also good. Warning to all newbies though, this game is seriously scary. Urk... Mentioning this reminds me of that giant skull! The previous game... Was seriously scary. Scared me pretty badly... Of all the horror rpg games there were in the day, this game was the one that scared me the most. And very badly at that. The other games had their charms... but this one had it's charm in how scary it was! The ending pretty much left me with my jaw left open though.
scary not really its more like "brutal anime girl deaths simulator" you die a lot of times on a very brutal ways, melted, eaten, decapitation, impaled and more and even one of the endings it could be considered a death scene
That tends to be the focus, and the limiting factor in most horror games with its shock value. I mean, you assume control of a character that dies an infinite amount of times, the stakes diminish and it becomes a choose your own survival, or death kind of game. You try again if you fail, it doesn't seem scary to go at it since you know what to expect. At least with perma-death games it adds a bit of fear into the loss of a player. I dreaded losing my best characters in Darkest Dungeon, instilling fear during a fight against enemies knowing I may lose that fighter for good. Then it can frustrate as well. I remember playing one of these types of games by the name of Paranoiac, which was less scary and more of a toleration in rushing against failure.
whenever i click on any of the download links, it keeps saying that the bluemediafiles page can't be found. Are the links broken, or is it something on my end? I'm not sure.
I live in the United States. Edit: Ok, I'm not sure what happened, but the links started working for me again. It must have been something in my browser settings. Thanks for the suggestions anyway.
All the deaths are scary. Still, It's not really happy knowing how much people look to porn more. All the classics don't have anything like that. But the story, cute graphics and characters are good. This game is seriously scary though.
