just guessing the exe file gets deleted because of your antivirus, note this is cracked version, make exception for it, but most of antivirus programs dont detect this minor thing. as for steam purchase yea I had some trouble accidentally running wrong exes in other games, make sure its named launcher(64).exe etc.
I have Mcafee LiveSafe (I got it for free with this refurbished laptop) and added it as an exclusion and no longer have the problem I'll take note about this behavior in the future Thanks for your input! :D

Exactly 0. I was super calm and focused the whole 2:45 (like 945ish deaths) I was working on it. I made it to screen 3 pretty quickly (like 20 minutes) and after that it was a pretty smooth curve of getting my muscle memory in place for each specific section of it, then failing a few times randomly any time I went through a specific point. I could clearly see the improvement of my air handling as the time passed. I haven't been this impressed by a game's mechanics in a long time. It just feels right.
