So I spent 3 hours downloading and installing 12GB of files... THAT JUST OPENS THE STEAM PAGE OF THE GAME ???? IS THIS A JOKE ??? Please can someone explain me how to launch the game after installing the 3 parts ?

once youve extracted everything and run the setup you need to take the files out of the CODEX folder thats in the same place as the setup and put those into wherever you installed the game to. Youll need to follow the exact same folder path that is in the CODEX folder in the call of cthulhu folder and drag the files from the CODEX into it and replace the ones already there. the game should then run.
Bought this on my PS4. I liked it, but it could have been better. I would have loved to have seen more enemies then just that one creature. Would have loved the sanity meter to actually have an affect on everything I do. But... for what it is, it was good.
Damn. Was gonna download today to try out, then saw that an update was released today that fixes some pretty big bug issues. Guess I'll be waiting a little longer. ;)

Could anyone tell me why the cutscenes are not working for me? and when i open the door to the 3 cultists standing there...nothing happens at all? instead of that the game should proceed and go into a cutscene?
HOLY SHIT!!! I just realized that you can just double-click the ISO file within WinRAR, open it and run the installer from right there! No bullshit with mounting the iso, opening "my computer" finding the setup.exe in the virtual drive, running it, possibly manually copying the crack to the install folder, deleting ISO etc. I've got 8.5 terrabytes FUCKING FILLED!!! AND EVERY SINGLE ONE DONE THROUGH installing games the super-long way like i'm a fucking geriatric patient in hospice just counting the seconds until death's cold embrace annihilates everything around me!! OMFG WHAT TIME HAVE I WASTED????????!!!!!! ...oh well, better late than never i guess
Don't forget how to do it the long way, though. On occasion the shortcut way you're describing has issues working properly. If you have an issue doing it the fast way, try to old method before asking for help.
thanks, that's a good point. still feel pretty stupid about how i have been doing it. it go to the point where I was literall looking into learning how to write/code custom scripts to do auto-unzipping/installing on a massive scale
is anyone else having problems with the convo wheel i've got quite far in and cant progress cus i cant pick an option, its happend ones befor but i just needed to load the check point and it fixed it but now that wont work. i've reloaded, restarted and run as admin even tried using an auto clicker but nothing if someone can suggest something to help fix this, if not i'll have to wait till its on sale since £40 is too much for this

Yeah, 30€ max I would say. Played through it in one session and enjoyed the game but was hoping for so much more. It's to linear and most puzzles, if you can even call them that, are a joke. They can't compare to adventure games of the 90s. Also was hoping to have a whole town / village to explore and solve puzzles in but like I said before, it's actually really linear.
I have some problems with aspect ratio on this game. My monitor is 16:10 (1920x1200) in these resolutions some text from the journal goes off screen, is there any fix for this?
