Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.
Lol. Sultan, relax with the pseudo-expertise, you don't have to play the game if you don't want to. There's a new CoD out now, what are you doing here?
You mean if the graphics had more pixels? But Rohan, don't you know in the 70's monitors had less pixels? And you can't be artistically original if you don't copy a half a century old graphic system. Look at the "dead soul, within the mind of the dead soul" moment, where you press space and the world starts beating and the person you're trying to find turns white. Look how jagged the lines around his corpse is, that really shows how pixelated everything is. I think the soup of gray hides more hideous graphics than it shows.
I do, Citizen Kane is overrated. It's use of models to set up settings was pretty good though. But at least all the colours don't mix into a blur in Citizen Kane. You can clearly see the rail standing out and the wall paper's design, nothing stands out in Obra Dinn, it all mixes in. You really seem to have a problem with me being against a developer purposely putting in a lot of effort to make sure a game has got 30-40 year old graphics when he could have at least made it proper modern black and white and given is a sort of noir look that made everything look better. I mean he made blood vomit red a choice, why not modern black and white a choice? Let's just agree that there's a reason why Mac's have no longer got that "Macintosh" graphics, because they suck ass. Making sure that one's game's graphics are 40 years outdated is not "original", it's just stupid.
Exactly, do you see crisp difference between the two colours in this picture? Or a bland blend of both that turns into different shades of gray? Why do you believe that "black and white" means gray? Everything is a shade of one tone, that's what I dislike. There is no crisp difference.
That isn't black and white. It's dark and gray. I mean crisp black and white. 100% white. Not everything is 90% black. You know, make some distinction between colours. They also have red, it isn't worth much when 90% of everything is red. Whatever colour you choose it's 90% what everything is, just a matter of shade.
Ever heard of difference in taste? I'll be less subjective, "It's a real shame the graphics are BY DESIGN meant to look 30-40 years old and thus are bad when they didn't have to be.
That's not less subjective; you are claiming the graphics are bad even though graphics are the very definition of subjective. Disliking something doesn't make that thing objectively bad. All your claim means is that you are an asshole who has to shove his likes/dislikes down the throats of other site viewers as if you were the word of god.
No, it's not like that. I've installed it properly and when I double click on the shortcut or application in the folder, it just opens up my Steam. I've tried restarting, reinstalling and everything- the result is the same. I've never had problems with any other GoG installations, so something is wrong here.
What a worthless comment. No shit I need to crack it, but as I stated there was no crack to be found. I figured it out myself, anyways. I just copy and pasted the missing steam.dll files from another game into the obra dinn folder and it worked. IDK how no one else is having this issue. It's not even like my anti-virus blocked a file, it's the installation itself that's wonky.
I suppose it depends on what link you're using to download the game. Google Drive has got a GOG download, it is an automatic installation, it has got nothing to do with Steam. Again, that's the Google Drive, which I highly recommend should be the go to link to download the games, I cannot vouch for the other links.

You really have to hate these "artistic" types.
