I cant connect to http://bluemediafiles.com. AVG Free stops me and says "We've safely aborted connection on http://bluemediafiles.com because it was infected with JS:Decode-BVW [Trj]" This has never happened to me before but now I can't connect to http://bluemediafiles.com in any way. Our site always uses link encryption to prevent bots from DMCA reporting of links which leads to them being quickly removed.For example, you always see that links are like "http://bluemediafiles.com/sdfksdfkwlfw......", after you click on the link, it decodes random characters and sends the "real link" back to you. That's how it works. Maybe AVG doesn't like this, that's why they say "decode...". We used to have this problem in the past, but they also went away automatically (don't know why), now they come back -_- Anyway thanks for reporting this issue, bro ;). Why the game won't launch? I downloaded the rar file and extracted it. I tried CrossCode.exe, Launcher.exe and the Launcher_x64.exe in normal and administrator mode. The game window would flash out a few seconds and disapear. The game window name was CrossCode Min and then became CrossCode Min v1.2.0-4 I can see in taskmgr that the game is still running though.

I confuse about this, but after extract it, the iso file MUST Be extracted using 7zip. Try it, its work on me! Dont launch setup. It wont do anything. And when extracting, DONT use WinRar! If u use WinRar it Will say "The file is Corrupted", So use 7zip
It's not a corrupt file problem, it's a v1.1 problem, there's a reason the official release is at v1.1.0-3 now, LOTs of crashes and bugs have been fixed in those 3 hotpatches.... And given the GoG version should be DRM free, I'm not quite sure why no one's released a copy of it yet (and trust me, I've been looking)... I mean v1.1.0-3 was out a day after the v1.1 release, so it's not like there hasn't been enough time...

I had no idea there was a ninja skin! I actually went and looked through my Crosscode downloads and found it in my 1.0.2-2 version! Here's the files at the Mega link below for anyone who wants it. :)

You should still download the update since there is some minor content update, just not from IGG Google Crosscode PLAZA instead, they have a more bug free release than this debacle.
Thanks for explaining how to fix this. The solid square PNG color backgrounds really looked ugly. But yea also there were solid background colors for the faces of the NPC's in the info hub place and Miss Steak too. The file path is media/assets/face for the NPC portraits, media/assets/entity/enemy for the Bovine enemy and others, and media/assets/entity/npc for NPC's walking around that also have a solid green background behind them. I went through the trouble of putting together all the PNG's that fixes the bugged PNG's. I organized the folders so that all you have to do is just copy and paste 1 folder and that's it. I've uploaded to the URL below. Just copy the "assets" folder in the RAR archive and you're done. I did this because not everyone has downloaded the 1.0.2 version.

The old man just disappeared but you can still talk to him and exchange gem materials, as in talk to a shadow on the ground.... I have played the game for 50+ hours since it becomes very addictive, luckily for me I have not found any bug and I have been able to play it normally, I recommend it a lot even though it can be a headache sometimes, waiting for the dlc that is supposed to came out in 2019 to be able to achieve 100% in the game.

Just put the files on top of each other, lmao. (Do a backup just in case). @Edit: nevermind, don't put old game save files on the new ones, the game doesn't know how to handle it and might glitch future cutscenes, another thing, apparently there is a fix, but I didn't search for it.
I think theres a bug , Pioneer Tucos' mission. Tucos asks us to follow him till Hillkat cave but he falls and doesnt move then. I went to the cave directly and theres a cut scene but tucos never reaches . Help
Note: May contain major spoiler or not, just game play issues, read as you've been warned. I'm at Vermillion Village with Schneider right now, at about 11hrs into the game. I just got out of the 'Bedroom' and meetup with him. We went to the Quest Center and see the curscene about the building and weird device. But when I step outside, Schneider didn't trigger a cutscene like he supposed to (I watches on YouTube so I know he has) which majorly blocks the game from progessing and does not allow Lea to sleep to progess with the story. Can this be fixed or is this a bug or some sort?
This kind of stuff usually happens if you try to use old saves on newer versions. I dont remember if there was a fix or not, but most likely you will have to take the game over again.
One more joins my list of games that impressed me enough that I actually bought it after initially pirating it. Kind of impressive for a $20 game, given my tight budgeting restraints.

yes jumping is a pain but you can get to otherwise unaccesible(butchered that word) areas if right when you jump, you melee attack and dash (run to ledge, and quickly hit V + double tap ALT key)

The main reason for this is dying GPU, check that it doesnt overheat. But does it : 1.. happen only to crosscode ( in which case i dont know anything about it) [you could try in video options changing resolution and pixel size and see if it does anything. Maybe its just the game failing to adapt so it needs a push] 2. from time to time on everything( which means dying gpu)
Yes, change resolution, If that doesnt work, try reinstalling directx and/or framework and flash player or vc redist And even if its not overheating you should clean all the coolers at least once a month In 2 months my laptop gathered dust (amalgamites, i cant describe them in any other way) the size of small rats.
I'm 11 and a half hours in and all is well. Love most of the dialogue, especially Lea's and her inability to communicate very well. The jumping parts still annoy me when you need to go 3-4 screens away to find a way up to get someplace, but it's very fluid, a bit funny, and has a decent enough skill/equipment setup.If you like anything from old Zelda games to Binding of Isaac, this is for you. Hell it should be for anyone. Probably the top tier of this type of game I've played.

11 hours in and no signs of something like that. I think most developers and such just accept people will pirate if they can't afford, but those people tend to rate games and that helps as well to get other users who aren't struggling with other bills to buy it. Win/win, just not as much win for them I guess. If it ever goes cheap enough I will buy it just to support and continue on my pirate version, unless they add some cool updates, which the game does hint at.

The best game i've played in a long time, sadly 20$ is really too much, (way back in 2015 when it wasnt even on steam, it was like 5$ on gamejolt) but on a ~12$(on sale) price is really worth it. Even now on the 15% sale on steam at 16$. The next thing you know you will have 400+ hours into this game. The next thing you know you will mess around with a full defense+hp regen build chainsaw-ing stuff with the evolved basic defense skill.
I can see 40 hours, but not 400, I think youre exaggerating there. I've done every side quest so far that isn't way over my level and I might hit 50 if I continue.
because after level ~ 50 stuff only gives you 1 exp, and as a skyrim player i skyrocket my stats as much as possible, so if grinding it takes, grinding it is.
The best moment is when you unlock all elements and you just start experimenting to find the build that perfectly fits you, just like a mmorpg. Still praying for someone (or even them) to make a co-op mod( or add-on, different game, or feature) That would instantly get my 20$.

Happened to be but a looong time ago. I dont really remember what i did but try:
if its a fairly new reinstalled windows make sure you have "all" the "basic" prerequisites ( xnaf , flash, vc redist, directx) a kind of easy way to get all those used to be downloading terraria because of the "contents" folder it contained. It had the offline installers to all those.
if its not that , try to run in administrator/compatibility mode (fixes like 50% of errors)
it all comes down to one's point of view or opinion based on whatever reasons that brings their final conclusion of that game really. Btw, Skyrim has countless hours of my life put into it. lol last game I actually really played. I mean like, "really" played. I plan to go back to it in the future due to fans, and whoever, still releasing amazing content. I am waiting for when all the beyond skyrim is fully ready and up to download. It is supposed be epic, especially for free content, and to play like many expansions with several hours of gameplay added. Said to be more than all main quests and side quests combined than, at least, the base game. It even caught Bethesda's eye and has collaborated some so that this, originally 5 projects from different teams if I remember correctly, will be one massive project and all content wont interfere with any other team's work. You can actually download some work already completed on nexus from a couple of the groups but I will wait til all teams are completely finished. Every time i try to "play" skyrim i end up as a 6000 armor heavy battlemage, never finished the story to this day... As for the 360 no i didnt play, i only play pc games (my xbox has been gathering dust somewhere in the back of my closet for like 7 years now)
I suggest trying Burnout Revenge on 360 if not having the open world that Paradise has isn't a deal breaker for you. It was originally made on the first xbox and ported in hd to the 360 like over a decade ago but I still bought it a few years ago used for 25usd. My cheap azz doesn't do that usually. lol No open world but way better altogether imo.

Crosscode is REALLY one of those games you will always come back to, like Halo Combat Evolved. But the non-sale price is really very high compared to others. Kind of like Geometry Dash back when it was 8+$, nice game but beginners would simply not be that much into it because of the price.

the second favourite thing i like about this game is like when you kill your first mad bovine (early game cow-like enemy if you reached that part) and an npc (Emilie) says she remembers growing up with cows on the way to her school, and a lot of things that feel very "real player"-like
Make sure you are clearing out all the bug nests (purple things around the rooms), and killing all the bugs. Also some bugs hide in rocks that you gotta blow up. At least one room requires killing all the bugs in the room even ones in hiding.

I wouldnt suggest that. Its very easy to overlook something in a room. Personally, I've been stuck in a diffrent room ( in a diffrent dungeon aswell ) and just couldnt figure out how to get the last key. I've spend more than an hour to find the room for the last key. All i want to say is: I highly doubt that this is a bug and you should probably just look a bit closer at some things in the game.

The thing with high prices is that for people like me (idk if it applies to The Noose too) 17$ is like a ton, in romania for example 17$ is 68 ron, whereas even if the minimum wage is over 2000 ron, most people ( including even surgeons ) make less than that, getting more money from people for their services. 10 hours a day working like a slave here will get you around 1700 ron/month and terribly painful wounds and muscle fever. So yes 17$ is kind of high.
some of us work in crap industries like health care or construction where the work load is like hitting a grape with a sunflower seed at 100 yards. so ya 20$ is like 2 hours or more in a day after taxes. and they just want your extra 20$ to pay for healthcare anyway.

I think what people (Including me) are trying to say, that this game is a true gem of 2018. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy the game instead of just downloading it from here. Nothing special huh, the overwhelming steam reviews say otherwise. I understand people pirating stuff, but to say its not worth a measly 17$ is laughable. This game is packed with so much content, and controls butter fucking smooth. It has a lot of nostalgia factor but it brings modern design concepts in to deal with the problems these old games had. The options menu has far more control than a 2d game deserves. This games combat system has a lot of depth, with tons of skills to unlock, things like perfect block and perfect dodge, so it's possible to beat a large gap in level with player skill. This game is also hard, some people may not like this understandably but it's hard in a fair way, if you are struggling its because of you and never because of frustration mechanics or bad design. The level design is genius too, it makes full use of 2.5d design, with multiple ground layers adding more depth to exploration, puzzles, and combat. There are secrets hidden everywhere too so it rewards exploration a lot. And it makes clever use of its MMO setting in level design as well, You will see the other "players" running back and forth to and from major locations to show you the main quest path if you get lost. I should also mention this game is packed with content, even if you skip all the sidequests you will still get your money's worth out of the main quest imho. The devs are super passionate about this game too. They've been actively involved in the community following the game's development since 2011, and the polish really shows. If you enjoyed the game please support the devs and buy the game, we really need more games of this caliber.

what makes this game so good? there are reviews that say it is lackluster and ones that say it is the best game ever made, but I don't want to devote 100 hours to another game when I have dragon quest XI, shadow of the tomb raider, as well as forza horizon 4, assassin's creed odyssey in the next 2 weeks too and then hitman 2 and then just cause 4 ... so why would someone play this over any of those other games right now? retro nostalgia for snes games? WHY? because i like it. i take the liberty to play every one of them and feel the games maybe it all began when i bought my ps1 and Castlevania SotN is one of the 10 free games from my buying. after that i started loving 2D games especially metroidvania ones. yeah, we are the kind of who plays RPG to fullfill our wanderlust, not just merely to defeat the game and have the feeling of fullfillment so that we can brag to others about how we have defeat the game but we discuss the whole content possible to enchance our gameplay hell, after years having that Castlevania game, i tried once to 100% the game and found that the game has true ending and even truer ending in which you need to have 206% (CMIIW) completion. we don't have internet at that time or even community. we tried hard to get every possible end and here we are now having fun with this one. we get that you don't like these kind of graphic or maybe gameplay or maybe story heavy. but it's just rude to tell this in front of people who sincerely like these kind of game. we are being nice to tell you this and if you don't understand, i guess you just haven't live long enough to have that enough consent to survive this world be nice to people

While the gameplay is amazing for what it is, you probably won't like this game for long if you don't care about the story in any way. It's very story heavy, and you'll find yourself reading tons of text as you bulldoze your way through enemy after enemy. Don't get me wrong. It's fun, it's really fun. I spent ten hours slaving away in my first session- and still haven't beaten it. It's mostly because the story is around every corner, and even when your spin dashing and tearing a group of enemies apart the conversations the characters are having riddle the screen. The combat is simple, but well thought out and executed. It's not by any means difficult, and many of the skills are simple % increases with the exception of skills. The only times I found myself being stuck were on the puzzles- and there's a lot of puzzles. If you don't enjoy figuring things out (or reading guides), I definitely wouldn't recommend it. I recommend anyone who likes these kinds of games to get it, but if you don't like the graphics, story- and the gameplay doesn't sound like it's a fit for your tastes, give it a skip until you have nothing else to do.
for the record this game doesnt have in-game resolutions, it depends of your desktop resolutions this helps a lot for users playing on toasters tested using my other 8 yrs old pc 3gb ram ati 1650x dual core using custom resolution no fps drop
so far i know you can add request to the stream workshop but the dev seems doesn't have a mind to get a modding community since developing this game (and still developed. this version just meant it has an ending now) is quite the hard thing to do. i mean, just look at how long it took now

If you haven't tried this game yet, you should. The story line and gameplay are incredibly immersive. The first dungeon boss was ridiculously difficult for me, even using all of my CPU points it took me a good 10 or so frenzied attempts. Definitely one of the better games that have been made. Why does it say that, on this site, it's the version 0.7.1, released on July 13, 2015 but when you go on Radical Fish Games(So this game's devs)' blog, it says that this particular version had just been released on June 22, 2016??? Explain this, please.
July 13, 2015 was the date when the CrossCode page for IGG Games was created. June 22, 2016 was when ver. 0.7.1 was released. All that's happening is that IGG Games is updating the CrossCode page with the latest versions but it still keeps the date when it was created

Yes, you are right, this has come back. Our site always uses link encryption to prevent bots from DMCA reporting of links which leads to them being quickly removed.For example, you always see that links are like "http://bluemediafiles.com/sdfksdfkwlfw......", after you click on the link, it decodes random characters and sends the "real link" back to you. That's how it works.
Maybe AVG doesn't like this, that's why they say "decode...". We used to have this problem in the past, but they also went away automatically (don't know why), now they come back -_-

edit: I checked the v1.0.3-4 version if it had the Ninja skin and it does. So I guess you can ignore this download, but just in case the IGG team forgets to put it in v1.0.4 when it comes out, I'm keeping this download up. Its location is under assets/extension in the game folder. So all future Crosscode DLC goes into that "extension" folder.

I went through the trouble of putting together all the PNG's that fixes the bugged PNG's. I organized the folders so that all you have to do is just copy and paste 1 folder and that's it. I've uploaded to the URL below. Just copy the "assets" folder in the RAR archive and you're done. I did this because not everyone has downloaded the 1.0.2 version.

I'm at Vermillion Village with Schneider right now, at about 11hrs into the game. I just got out of the 'Bedroom' and meetup with him. We went to the Quest Center and see the curscene about the building and weird device. But when I step outside, Schneider didn't trigger a cutscene like he supposed to (I watches on YouTube so I know he has)
which majorly blocks the game from progessing and does not allow Lea to sleep to progess with the story. Can this be fixed or is this a bug or some sort?
I dont remember if there was a fix or not, but most likely you will have to take the game over again.

Also, I don't blame you for not wanting to pay the asking cost. so why would someone play this over any of those other games right now? retro nostalgia for snes games? I don't really want to play old games anymore. Dead cells was awesome but I don't really need retro graphics I'm all about progression of graphics and am excited for the newer titles.
