If you look at entry 1.4, it lists ET for Atari as having been rated worst of all time by 3 publications, with 1 publication having decided Superman 64 was worse.

Ah yeah, got one. Though looking through their library, Top Gear and all those Bugs Bunny NES games (that were almost all very good surprisingly) were Kemco. So at least they've balanced their range a bit.

The hint was for Superman 64. The game was repetitive, had no real reason to have you do the things it asked you to, and the controls were terrible. It is frequently cited as among the worst games ever made. EDIT: but then he changed the hint because he was wrong lol.
