Thanks for saving my time, I was actually thinking about trying it. I'm also a fan of old TBS games from the 90s. (Jagged Alliance 2, Fallout 1/2/Tactics...)
Give Phantom Doctrine a go if you want something kind of like the new Xcom games with its own twist. It's a really great game once you get used to it imo.
While phantom doctrine is fun, but mostly you will try to go stealth mode. Engaging in open fire battle mode is not preferrable as enemies wil respawn infinitely. It needs more direct battle missions, but yes it's a fun stealth xcom like clone
