well it's all the same. But i know he's ful of shit, bc in nightmare mode even the starting enemies deal 76 damage per attack, wiping you out in two hits. and they have 4 times the hp . there's also nightmare mode ( level 1 locked ) and that keeps you at level 1 forever. it's brutal, and thats coming from a person that has flipped the game in almost every aspect, aside of doing two alternative hoices later on, and beating it on nightmare. the kid obviously didnt do anything but pirate it, play for anhour and then came here to complain about hsi free game being too easy. which I offered a choice, and he lied about " it being too easy" trust me when i say nightmare mode is aptly named. I posted a password at the top to unlock all kickstarter rewards as well, and nightmare can be unlocked by putting in nightmare777 ( just pause the game and go to options, passeord is there ) it's one thing to brag about game feats, but its another to flat out lie and throw shade at one of the best games made this year ( especially when you didnt even pay for it )

An incredibly pretty game and the soundtrack is good too. It controls really well and the combat works fine. That is pretty much where the positives end. Its like the Devs got so hung up on making their game Castlevania SoTN so much that they forgot to actually make their game unique. At some parts they even copied the map layout straight from Castlevania SoTN. The enemies are too easy even on hard mode and the bosses were so laughable that i didn't even need to pay attention to beat them. The story is bland and boring, the characters have as much personality and likeability as a cardboard cutout and the dialogue reads like a teens romantic novel. It is also incredibly short. Which is okay because taking in anymore of that generic story would have made it worse. What i find particular unfortunate is that the actual "time control" ability is used so scarcely that i wonder why they even bothered to put it in the game. There is potential here but it wasn't enough to make this game good. It is full of wonderful art so much so that you can pretty much take a screen shot at any time and use it as your background but that is just not enough to justify a 20$ price tag. Considering how long we had to wait for this this is really quite the let down.

i found the characters the ppl were bithcing about. you only have to beat the game, continue playing, and complete liek 20 sidequests to find out the orb girl was a man on her home world. whooppdeedoo. i mean for somehting ppl are ssaying is a heavy handed agenda, I went through the entire game without seeing a hint of it. you REALLY have to go out of your way to even see it, and it;s a feelting thing. also the guy the medic saves is gay. doesnt change anything in game,( which is fantastic btw )

Okay, so, the game has LGBTQ characters... is it ham-fisted into the game and totally in-your-face, or do characters just mention it during dialogue when the context requires it? If all LGBTQ couples were changed to straight couples, would it still have awkward/shitty writing? Because it would also be a shame to not give a good game the attention it deserves just because it mostly has LGBTQ characters, and even having all the characters be LGBTQ wouldn't necessarily be "virtue signalling" if it was handled maturely.

Liking this so far. Reminds me a bit like Alisia Dragoon with Castlevania as it's core gameplay. Tried to sync my controller to this game, unfortunately doesn't work. Keyboard will do.
8bitdo controller with x360ce to emulate for the software. I tried it thrice, but it seems this game doesn't support this kind of controller that I have.

the game is maxed out fullscreen resolution of 720p atm. I asked the dev about itm and he;s gonna look into patching it . great game, I recommend you buy it when you have the cash, one of the best metroidvanias this year.
