anyone having problems in the first world areas where it just crashes when you save there or transitions to other areas or other map terrains? this is what showed after...
Damn, actually really sad, I am trying to download this newer version but since you had the same exact problem with it, I am kind of abandoning hope. I'll try to delete the last save in the First World and continue from the second last save which is a few hours behind. If it still crashes in the first world then I will abandon the game too.. very sad after like 50 hours of gameplay. If it's the first world that corrupts the save then I will try to rush through it without saving.
actually go ahead and try, I am replying to you for the version I played b4, and had no time to test the new updates. It may well have solved the first world crashes. Edit: About rushing the first world, it always have failed me for the last version of the game. It would always crash on me during map loads and transitions (specially the House of Nyrissa part.... dammmn you gammmmeee!). I actually made progress by inching my way through it with multisaves, save b4 dropping to the first world, and just reload when the problem comes back. Won 1 game out of 5 runs :(
Ok, so I uninstalled my old version, reinstalled the 2.1.7b, put back my last working save (which was inside the First World), I played it until I got out of the First World and the cave, saved outside (in the region map), succesfully saved, restarted the game and the save is still there. So updating the game and never saving/autosaving in the first world and its cave seems to have worked (for now).
you downloaded a fake part (38mb and not 5gb) just delete it/them and download the real parts (look at the size of the file, it is always 5gb except the last part)
i think igg sometimes remove the older updates, so as not to confuse people with so many unnecessary updates to download. However, i have seen some older updates stay on the download page.
Yo I swear, before the lock-down in March, the game worked perfectly but since June it hasn't. I've reinstalled the game three (3) times now, along with all the updates, and I'm still getting the same stupid unity crash after the initial loading screen. Hi, I downloaded and instaled the game + I am on patch 2.0.8 but there are missing DCL. Should it be there? I cannot choose tiefling or kinetic and the new adventures are missing.
I've been having trouble installing the 2.0.5 update. The 2.0.0 seems to install fine, as does 2.0.1, 2.0.2 and 2.0.4, but when I try to install 2.0.5, a handful of streaming asset files have a hash sum mismatch, and I can't install the update. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but I get the same problem. Anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it?
Question: which files do i download if i just want the copy of the game and no dlc? And how large is the file without the DLC aswell? Or is it an ISO file?

If you downloaded from the torrent link then you won't be able to use the 1.2.6c patch. Torrent content doesn't have the Varnshold Lot DLC added to it. You need to use the parted download links to use the 1.2.6 to 1.3.0 updates.
Hello. I am trying to install the updates but the updates that are available for download start at V1.2.6c. It fails when I attempt to use that on the torrent install. It seems I am missing a patch or few before 1.2.6c. Where can I download them? Ok. Downloaded the previous patches up to 1.2.0o. Installed them all perfectly yet I still can't install 1.2.6c after those. What now? Found out the issue. The 1.2.6c update was for the game with the Varnshold Lot DLC. The torrent file doesn't have the DLC.
Same here. I dont have prob with the updates. You must ne skipping the updates before 1.3. You must download and install all the updates in order to be able to install 1.3M update

Quick question, the update has 2 parts but when you try to use Part 2 the files inside still say part 1 and when attempting to run the setup it gives you errors. Is part 2 in error?
It's a multi part file. Part 1 and Part 2 are two parts of a complete update. Due to computers being nice to us and shit, if you try to install it from either one it will work just fine as long as you have both in the same folder.
The game says its 1.1.3m....but no actual updates seem to be done. The portrait selection is the same and no Kineticist nor Tiefling. Tried reinstalling using all of the above , no result. thoughts?
Yes, Installed the main file, then 1.1.1c then 1.1.2e and 1.1.3m . Tried various combinations of copying the cracked files and not doing so while applying the updates. Have not found the issue.
make sure you copy the codex files from the install to the game folder, sometimes the installer doesn't install. had that problem til i went to game folder and saw the codex files will still from the previous install, once copied(make sure you give permission when asked) the game updates and you have the DLC content.
Maybe you need to crack the game first? If that doesn't work make sure that you're running the right update. (1.1.1c) Other than that, I have no idea what the problem could be. Everything works right for me.
Do NOT get this version of the game it has a 100% freeze bug at the palace making the game 100% unfinishable, the patch 1.1a is unavailable and the game can not be finished without it.

Yes it's sad steam version have much bigger update file size than gog lately since update 1.07. I believe IGG can do it, as they upload big size update before too. 3DM released until 1.09 for steam and 1.09c for gog.
I would advise against playing the game in its current state. There's still a lot of major quest bugs later on in the game. I'd at least wait until the supposed big patch comes out in a few weeks. Blows my mind why they decided to release the game in this condition.

um... i've installed up to 1.0.6 and the game play fine for me thn again i dont know how to check for the version of the game so yea... all of the istaller on tht site work you just need to install them in order... ive even pick up 2 seperate patch on different website for codex it still work since this site didnt specifies tht the patch is from codex only thell u its from steam. ill tell u whn i find a way to check for the game version if it trully changed.
No, My game still work's fine the install just does not work at all because it's the wrong version. Wish I installed the GOG version now, but I don't think my save's will carry over, don't want to start again.

Warning : stop playing before the 1.0.4 update is out, you'll reach a point (mid-game) where your save will be entirely fucked if you do not install the 1.0.4 update before.
Guys the game is awesome but buggy as hell, so either wait until it's fixed or make hard regular hard saves. You can lose your whole playthrough if you don't.

It Works fine, you dont need a 1.0.2 Update. Just install the 1.01 then the 1.0.3, make sure you select the game installation folder when doing both updates. The game updates can take a bit longer than usual so dont get worried.

u need to do the town upgrade project first then u can upgrade the building... but i still cant figure out how to upgrade the other town tough.. maybe also through project...?

The Way Around this bug is to not sleep with Octavia at the bar sleeping with her bypasses a movie part that is needed that trys to happen when you leave your house the maker of the vid above and I did alot of testing and discovered it out and hope it will help others to get past it aswell
Guys...did you use the linux version somehow as a base? Because it breaks the savefiles and forces to restart the game to load a savefile. Gonna need an update soon^^
