guys i got it. just open the folder where the game is installed then go to win64 -> Data -> Mono -> etc -> mono. here you have to delete the folder 2.0 than your game should work. you can do the same thing with win32. hope it works for ya
OK fine it's working now, i have blocked the game in outbound rules of firewall, but i have block the 3 files in win 64 and in win 32, so totaly you need to block 6 files ! and after that it's working ....
hey i have some sollution about installer doesn't run. first add your real administrator user open cmd run as administrator > then type "net user administrator /active:yes" > then switch to your administrator account > add your password > and install the program or you can visit https://www.ghacks.net/2014/11/12/how-to-enable-the-hidden-windows-10-administrator-account/ this worked for me and sorry for my bad english

i found a better way to fix it but you need a firewalls help for this. here let me show you an image to help you :D NOTE:before we start be sure your firewall is on go search for the advance settings of the firewall then go to outbound rules go find the specific .exe shown in the image (if you see something new that doesn't show in the image just keep pressing next) then name it all you want but for me i named it Con64 that is all Run the .Exe that you blocked you can also do this for 32bits but this is one is a different .exe file i hope this will help pls send nuds >_0
I'm only playing the game with my keyboard and mouse, like any other person would, but the game is set to Controller mode, like it only shows me XBOX One buttons, but when I move my mouse, the game changes to Keyboard/Mouse controls for a millisecond, is there a way to stop this and make it only appear in Keyboard/Mouse controls?
It seems like it's detecting something else rather than KB and Mouse, something is connected that is telling the game to use controller as default, an external device. check it
I think it's my flight joystick that's making this happen, even though it's not connected right now. Ah, there we go, fixed it by removing the joystick.
Basically, the game itself is running alright, I only removed the joystick from my Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - View Devices and Printers window then the game started working in Keyboard/Mouse mode.
well the only thing i did was to block all of the three programs in the win64 folder and it works, have you made sure that your antivirus dint remove some of the steam_api.dll files in Data/plugins folder?

I mean my Ethernet connection, fully disconnect from the internet? Edit: Out from the internet fully, still nothing. Edit 2: Blocked it also on IP address thing, still nothing.
How are we going to use your fix if you don't give us clear instructions on how to do it, I tried blocking those "three files" but nothing worked, maybe you could give us a step by step instruction on how to block them in outbound rules, thanks.

Today (Sept. 16, 2018), I can't open the game due to what my Windows 7 Ultimate said after troubleshoot: Incompatibility Issues! Yesterday (Sept. 15, 2018) at the same day I downloaded the game, extracted and PLAYED, it was still running FINE and SMOOTH until THIS day came when everyone cannot play it anymore. Can someone explain what happened, does it needs an update or it was constantly connected secretly on the internet and can't run without the update?

Everybody's having a problem running this game now.
Block it in you're firewall outbound rules just block all the three files ConSim etc.. it works
I blocked the programs ConSim2USPE, ConSim2USPE32 and CS2ArchCheck but still the same.

-Runned from the blocked folder : CHECK
