For a "Choice of Games LLC" book its rather short. Only took roughly an hour to read and has 2 maybe 3 good endings. But none the less it is an amazing read (in my opinion) I recommend this to anyone that likes the "Choice of Games LLC" books.

These games just seem like a cash grab to me. Talent-less programmers who hack together story, but market the "cover art" with signs of being a fully fleshed out, graphics-based RPG.

I find these types of games, rather boring. Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course, but most of these games have flaccid 2D writing. I tried a few of these games, and only really ever enjoyed one of them. The majority of these games have the typical, "Save these people!" or "Play as a hero with 1 million love interests!" Frankly, If the writing in these games were better, I might spend the time playing them. I'd rather go read some shitty porn visual novel than the majority of these.

Not necessarily. There are even some of them that you play as a villain, like in Fallen Hero: Rebirth, for instance.

Still remeber the title of the game that you enjoyed playing?

I'd rather read a book with interactive text, no electricity bill.

I do. It may not have any pictures or anything but I think they're fun to read/play.

I don't mind a lot of text, but I don't get why they need to be without any pictures at all.

Well actually SOME of them have pictures but only during specific things. Like I know another game uploaded recently had picture of some of the main characters in it's stats menu and the thumbnail for said game was a character that was actually in it.
And I guess it's so you can imagine things yourself, since you're basically making your own character.

Artists cost money. Especially decent artists. These aren't AAA games.

I don't think it would be that expensive to get some graphics done. We're not talking about AAA games here, don't exaggerate.

The games that are not made by the main company are made by regular people, the company publishes the game, and then takes a cut of sales. I doubt most, if any, are making serious bank - not enough to justify employing great artists.

Not all artists are outstanding and not all artists are expensive. There is a website where people are offering all kinds of skills for little money. They'd be happy to get something to do.
