Nope. Clicked it for about a minute straight with nothing. Still says Steam needs to be running. Also tried it with the game running as some games like this use an emulated Steam launcher; still no dice.
I've tested it with the actual steam version and it works without a hitch. This is the official denpasoft patch for the steam version so it should work? Fraid I'm no expert on how these patches work and stuff so apologies on not being able to offer any help :'<
The pirated one is the steam version, the denpasoft version already has the r18 content so it doesnt need to be patched. I reckon the patch not working has something to do with the patch itself.
Well, what I'm figuring is the patch is looking for the game in Steam. I guess I could try moving the games directory into the steam app folder when I get home, but I have a feeling that's not going to do the trick. Maybe someone can upload the files changed by the patch at some point. If not, meh. I'll just wait til it goes on sale on Steam to play it.
