Yeah DE has an entire different structure than the original even the modders are having a hard time. I wasted my money getting the original on steam, so here I am waiting for a crack release.
Hey, can someone please help me. I just downloaded the game and installed the Crack Fixed but the game does not recognize my controller, any other game does (even does downloaded from here), any ideas on how to repair it?
Be sure to get the orchestral mod pack. Just google it and you'll find it fast. It only replaces sound and video files so it won't mess with any cracks.

How I installed Dragon Quest XI Echoes of an Elusive Age 1.) Downloaded all 6 parts and crack fixed from http://MegaUp.net links 2.) All the parts in the same folder and extracted here with 7 Zip 3.) Opened the folder that the files extracted to and mounted the ISO file with Daemon Tools Lite 4.) Opened the drive that it was mounted to and ran the setup file 5.) Changed the install directory to my liking and checked Copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir 6.) Extracted the Crackfix files and copy them to the game directory and replace files 7.) Started the game with the shortcut that was created or you can create your own from the application at Game/Binaries/Win64 8.) Changed my settings before going deaf and enter my name 9.) Begin my adventure (After doing some tweaks in the ini files for better graphic/stuff)

Both MEGAs are down, as well as the Google Drive, Uptobox gives me a Not available in the US message. I refuse to use Rapid Gator. RG wants you to wait 2hrs per free download. and Uploaded I can't get to work half the time and a 3hr wait between downloads.
Is the file size less than 5 MB? Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe? If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad. Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.
ok i need some help. i found the game exe hidden in like 4 other folders, but it does nothing. i checked task manager and it does show up but after 3 seconds its gone again. nothing opens, no error messages or anything NOTHING.
Hey, the game keeps crashing when I'm in Gallipolis at the circus scene. Is there any way to prevent this? My graphics settings are all on their lowest settings and I am in windowed mode with lowered resolution. How do I fix this?? You can download parts from the dif. site proposed, no need to only use 1. The google drive link seem to be broken sadly, won't be usable util they make a new one. If not sure on How to Install, check the video IGG made, pretty simple.

When you install the game just click the box "copy contents of codex crack to install directory" easiest method. If you didnt do that, open the download file, find the codex folder and copy the contents over the install directory

Hi, the game crash every time when i'm on the boat, with no messages. I tried everything in the FAQ to solve this (every software update, turning off my antivirus, etc...) but it still happen. And its not about my computer performances. Anyone have a solution for me ?
even with the crack fix game still has issues of freezing up and crashing. also when using slots in first casino takes 3mins every time to load the slot machines. extremely annoying hope crack gets sorted fully soon

This game has Denuvo, so any update that occurs has to be cracked separately from the main game. Most scene groups don't crack updates until a game has released all updates and DLC and is completely stable, so odds are not great.

go to the game folder and open: Engine / Binaries / ThirdParty... then, renamed "Steamworks" to "1" then close
will open the folder of your "save" in: Document / My Games / DRAGON QUEST XI / Saved / SaveGames ....then renamed "Book1638" delete the number 1638 close and launch the game
in the game, open the options, go to various, and get the rewards PS DLC_02 - DLC_19 are all empty
then returned to your backup point, saved and left the game!

Just a Heads Up! When you hit a mandatory Casino later in the game, there is a crash with the patch if you try to play any but a few slot machines. I spent an hour playing with it before figuring it out. You will get stuck at a loading screen UNLESS you play the set of machines against the back wall, specifically slime ones. I don't want to give away that would be a minor spoilers, but it is a time when you get 2000 casino coins for free in a place that has a new casino that wasn't there before. DO NOT Play any of the machines grouped around the pillars, as even inspecting them will get you stuck. It wouldn't be a big deal except completing this section is mandatory to continue the story. Wanted to save people some time trying to figure out this issue, as i tried reinstalling twice, which is a bit time consuming.

I have to give this a bad review I'm afraid. When you've installed the game and you go to play it, it simply directs you to the steam page. Granted, I was only downloading this before buying it on steam to see if my computer can handle it, and if it did work I was going to buy it off steam and delete the torrent, but that's not the point.

mount the iso
run the exe
check the "copy content of codex" before the install button
open the patch
copy the content of the patch where it's suppose to be (try to avoid just pasting the folders, you'll delete things that way) iirc you have to replace to .exe in "Win64" and the whole "Binaries" folder in the "Engine" folder And you should be able the run the game (use the .exe you just replaced, the shortcut could be badly linked) If you're getting the steam page it means you either forgot the codex crack or the patch

Extract the original torrent
Extract the new DQ XI binary onto the main game folder (from the torrent)
Extract the contents of the "Engine" folder onto the main game folder (from the torrent)

OST is a bit underwhelming though, but not necessarily because of the Soundfont used, more because the melodies are a bit uninspired.

holy crap this game is pretty otimized,tried running on a 2Gb ram+intel hd 4600 and after messing a bit with the .ini i was able to get a nice amount of fps,hope that the random crash issue don't happen here tough
Turned off some non-essential services in windows Results: Still getting no love from DAVE. Noticed after some tweaks that from saved game, it loads faster than before. When talking to DAVE got higher % of progress bar, but still getting a crash (over 50X now) So, guess I´m gonna have to quit.
Scroll up this page and download CRACK FIXED from one of the links. Should be about 330mb. Running ACER LAPTOp i7 5500, 2.4GHZ, 16GB, GEFORCE 920M 2GB Some issues I ran into at first:
Crash before the screen with world tree (after consecutive tries it would load up)
game would constantly crash at the loading screens where after it autosaves (if the progress bar went up very slowly or slowed almost to a crawl at some point, I knew it was gonna crash)
game would constantly crash when trying to load saves IMO the minimum requirements are far from sufficient, as I lowered every setting possible to the minimum (windowed also, 30fps - also used the latest crack) So I tried some things that have helped me a lot and reduced the crash rate. Unfortunatelly I did not try them one at a time to find out which ones are actually doing anything:
turned off wifi
turned off antivirus
turned off printer spooling (forgot the name) Obs: basically tried to turn off everything not essential to running the game (messed with some things in running "services" that windows would let me turn off After these steps:
No more loading crashes
No more loading saves crashes
Eventual crashes when transitioning between areas that have to load (I noticed that whenever I enter a loaded area and the system is autosaving and the map appears the slime hourglass, there´s a potential crash coming, but not always). So, in the end I am leaning towards lack of lack of processing power (both) from my end. I have just finished the Gondolia fight and cannot get past the loading screen/autosaving that happens after the boat is leaving. The nex crackfix loads the game up faster, but I´m still stuck. And it really sucks, because I don´t even know if it is possible to jump cutscenes (which would solve my problem imo) and that´s a very long one just to get a crash. Tried more than 10x already. Hopefully my experience helps other people and maybe some people can shed me some light on my issue. Loved DQVIII and this just pushes it so much further. Great game btw.

Okay Dante, i don't have a problem when you post one video per game, it can show the people what the game is like. But you have to stop deleting them and posting again so you can always be on top. If you continue doing that, i'll banned you, is that clear?
i keep crashing at the cutscene after the beast hunt in gallopis city with the beast chained up and the king praising him. anyone know how to fix it? its the only problem ive had with the game even before the fix. now with the fix the cutscene crashes only a about 20 seconds after where it first started crashing
It's not really anything special. I looked up the list and the items granted were either available in game (around the time you can visit the casino) or or meh usefulness.
Could be something else causing the issue for you that's not crack related. (like some software installed on your PC, or something the game needs not being up to date, like Direct X for example) It could even be the setting you have the game at. If your PC isn't good enough to handle it, then that could cause crashes.
Nope, already ruled all those out. I can log in run to the zone, and bam, crash. I can run around for hours , but when i hit that zone, Bam, crash. I can load up any other game on my system and have no isues. heck, it runs Civ 6 fine. I am just gonna uninstall, clear up all the old files, and download a new copy and re-install

The torrent link above just takes you to the sister site that has torrents instead of DDLs. On that page there are links for the game and a second one for the crackfix.
You need to mount the game ISO and install the game first. Then you paste the "engine" and "game" folders from the crackfix into whatever folder you installed the game into. For example mine is "C:/Games/DRAGON QUEST XI Echoes of an Elusive Age". Click Yes when it asks if you want to over-write
sigh I think I've found another bug. I'm stuck at the ship, I landed at Costa Valor, and now whenever I get into the boat there is a large chance that the game will crash. Sometimes I make it to a different island, but then it crashes the next time I enter the boat.
You add it the exact same way you applied the crack.Nothing fancy or special involved. If you edited the CODEX name in the steam_emu.ini file, then you will need to change that to match what you had before.
Nathaniel Medford you're crazy about formatting your computer for this error… it's often with repack, mephisto, fitgiril that I had this error, but no codex. check your hard drive or the stability of your cpu or ram.
Someone discovered a way to go from loading after jasper my not going to sea neither way nor deactivating the autosave switch to 30 fps press alt tab nothing nothing worked after the jasper. If anyone knows anything please comment.

formatting computer
turning off anrivius
increasing virtual memory
getting the dll file and putting it it syswow64 and system 32
running safe mode
running in window 7 and window xp and window vista compatibility mode
unblocking the iso
putting setup on computer and running it from there
emptying temp folder and placing setup there
renaming setup to setup.exe I dont know what more to do. This happens with all highly compressed games for me, which is weird because a year ago I could download and install these without problem on this very PC. I have 16 gb of ram, a ryzen 5, and a gtx 1080.
well i cant get any trick to work... Alt+Tab, change frame rate, make the save files read only.... game still crashes when i try to get to the Mangle Grove...
when i made the 255 and 999 save read olny and went to mangle grove i stayed still untill the mini map bottom left had finished loading and for the auto save is corrupted to be gone from the screen untill i started moving it might help to make all the .bak saves read only as well
Did you try changing the games compatibility mode to Windows 7? That's what worked for me to get by that spot, but there really isn't much point going on since the crashes happen more and more due to the crack being nuked. Might as well save yourself a headache of playing spots over and over again, hoping to get through with "tricks" that likely won't work.
It won't for long. About 6 - 8 hours in (just after you go back to the starting town) you will start having crashes because the crack is nuked. (meaning it has problems)
You (like the rest of us) will have to wait for a new crack to come out. The crack is nuked. (meaning it has problems causing the game to crash) By the sound of things some of the Denuvo triggers were missed. If you don't know waht any of that means, it's fine, just know it's not working properly and a new crack needs to be put out by Codex, or another team.

what worked for my for the crashes and i haven't had one more after this is that i walk as slowly as possible before crossing to the next region (the green line) i was getting 2 or 3 every 30 , 40 mins no i get none. Try it and see if that helps you. i hope it does :)
Just a plecebo effect friend. The very first spot that has crashes crashed every time for me, even when doing this. So you're either hitting spots that Denuvo checks are not triggered, or you're getting extremely lucky by not triggering those checks.
It's been confirmed Nuked by the scene. There were Denuvo checks that were missed and that's what causes the crashes in Pirated copies of the game where it doesn't crash in the normal version. I think the scene would know a little more about this then yourself. Especially since this is what they do.
CODEX didnt remove every Denuvo check. People saying "check compability or run DQ's folder DXs to fix" do more harm than good.There is no such a thing as "luck". During autosaves,denuvo does checks probably.Maybe not in every loading but in many of those.There are a few checks that havent been removed. For those who passed Jasper but cant go to the ship,try to go outside of the town and Zoom.Remove the autosaves.goodluck
is save data 255 and 999 an auto save and if so if i set them to read-only or make it so auto saving is unsable will it stop it from crashing but can still manually save
My manual saves dont crash. I m pretty sure there is a fck up with specific areas so when u are crashing going from X to Y ,try to X->Temp->Y.Try different approach and dont use autosaves.If u cant play,just wait for the fix or try random stuff ... People tend to spam bullsh1t like "read only" crap.We have no idea how autosave works.Probably it replaces the files and it doesnt write.
go to My Document > My Games > DQ 11 > Saved > SaveGames > Bookxxx > Data(255,999) turn them all to read only. Try to alt tab open chrome etc... at this part be ready before* loading screen appears it helped me to enter at mangrove.. uncheck read-only to manually save
me....so far there a few guide about reinstall direct x ,make it windowed...but none worked for me. So rite now im waiting for a newer version crack then i tried it out
Hey guys I managed to go to the sea (fight after jasper) without crash, just disable your auto-save feature by making your save "Read-only". You can revert it back to normal but just to be safe, just save the game manually
There is no option to disable the Auto-Save feature. go to My Document > My Games > DQ 11 > Saved > SaveGames > Bookxxx > Data(xxx) turn them all to read only, youll be gucci
all you have to do to pass jasper is when you see the ship about to sail off delete the 2 files on your save folder that read 999. jasper was my main problem once i beat and passed jasper is when the real crashing begins. every load screen i crash now after nautica.
i don't know if its work for you guys, but try load your manual save not the auto save one, been not crashing until the Geopolis (?) the city at the desert forgot the name. For me trying load the autosave (Manglegrove) crash immediately. but load from my manual save and go to manglerove didn't crashes anymore.. Hope it works for you guys...

it can help for some for my part when I wanted to enter or leave a village his crash so I had to try several times to succeed since I made his bin I can do what I want ( except whatever bug or place does not load)
After the game crash I'll load it back up if it crashes again i close the game and start playing something else for like a hr then I'll start playing DQ XI again and it will load just fine. I couldn't get into the Manglegrove no matter how much i loaded the game up. So i said fuck it and started playing Recore after playing it for awhile i stop and tried DQ again, and it load right up. Got the Red Orb tried to go back and the game crashes every time I load the auto-save and try to go back to the emerald coast. I said fuck it once again jumped back on Recore played it for sometime until it crashed because of the CE Codes. So i tried DQ again loaded right up. (Note this is not a fix) Just a post about the weird way this game has been acting. But really i think it's just a Iffy crack.
Sorry bro but i tried that trick more then once, and it still crashed. Everyone is saying do this do that..turn down this install that. I've tried it all and the game still crashed. Really i just think it works when it works and crashes when it crashes. So I'll keep my thanks i just feel it's an iffy crack for right now I'll wait for a fix
incorrect, you cant assume people wont enjoy something just because you don't. Not sure how old you are but you most likely should have dropped that egocentric view of the world a long time ago.

May have found a solution to the crashing to desktop issue, or may have just been lucky. Try tabbing out of the game right before you get to the crash point. Doing that just got me passed this crash point. Let me know if it worked for anyone else.
I am not up to jasper. But i was crashing at a different point and it worked for me. It may have been luck though so just try it out and let us know if it worked for you also.
regardless of where it crashes just try and tab out right before the crash and wait till its gets passed that point to tab back into the game. It's worked for me at 2 different crash locations so far.

PS. Right now I am stuck at the loading after fighting Jasper around 12 hours in, some people have said to keep trying because there are no new solutions, but this is not confirmed by me yet.
Yeah I think the Jasper fight is a major trigger for pretty much everyone. Sucks bc the autosave is right before the boss and cinematic. About 15-20 min wait each time it crashes before you get to the point again. I'm probably gonna try a few more times and just give up and go back to playing DQVII 😔
I have gotten stuck in multiple places. Right now im crashing as i leave Gallopolis for the beast hunt. Honestly, the best thing to do is you don't feel like waiting for an update is to keep trying. You'll get through eventually. For everyone making a big stink about it, just get over it or go buy the game. You cant have your cake and eat it too.
This release needs to be Nuked. The crack seems to miss a lot of triggers and the game will CTD quite a bit. In a game like this where saving isn't readily available that means constantly losing upwards of an hour of playtime (sometimes boss battles) and having to slog through it again. This is almost certainly a crack issue as there aren't very many issues with legit users having this issue.
is there a way to get the DLC to work in game? found it in the folder but games says theres nothing to redeem. Using Xbox controller, is there anyway to change button layout? Start should be menu not [Y].
nothing wrong with menu being [start] and map [select] either, I just think that if they give use a way to change the keys for the keyboard, why couldn't they do the same for controller?
Anyone able to get their PS4 controller to work with this game? I've got DS4 installed and it's not working with this game currently. I even hid the DS4 so it appears that it's a 360 controller but no luck
steam big picture and add game through library shortcut in the options menu (may need to create desktop shortcut). Go to library and select game, then manage shortcut, select controller config, browse configuration, select game pad and apply. Run game through Big Picture. Works every time for me
If you're having problems with crash while leaving places and your game closes try changing game Frame rate before continue game from graphic options if you have it on 60fps change it to 30fps .Continue your game and if it works you can change back to 60fps going to misc,system setting,graphics. If it continues repeat process , this is working for me you can try it.

i found a way to fix the crashing but you need to do it constantly. go to my pc, documents, my game and dragon quest. then go to, saved, saved games and book. inside book you will see 2 files that say system 999. what you are going to have to do is every time you are loading a thick green line on your game map go and delete them 2 files. after you save in game they will appear again and you will need to do the same thing again on another thick green line when switching major zones. hopefully this helps
Doesn't work, loading church save repeatedly crashed before and after doing this. I got past it by loading the auto save exiting to the menu and loading the church save again. I don't think any suggestions being thrown around atm are fixing the issue as the crashing is some what intermittent. So far I have had 1 crash entering Mangelgrove, serveral crash loading church save in Mangelgrove, 1 crash enter Emerald coast from the closest entrance to Cobblestone (went the long way round without a problem) and no crashes after that until I tried to load a autosave in Gallopolis region.
doesn't work. still crashes once it loads into Mangelgrove. Those with the issue has not gotten past this. Other sites and reddit are reporting the same shit man.
trying it right now i deleted the system999 files started the game, it crashed loading autosave loading regular save (from church) worked fine for a while! the system999 files haven't reappeared at all though?
it seems the problem with the crack is the auto save. the method i just showed you work by always deleting auto save. its faulty. so make sure to use hard saves.
is there anyway to get it to not auto save? . or maybe something that automatically deletes it once the auto save is created. really don't need auto save anyways .
Kept crashing when going into mangrove after leaving Heliodor. I tried reinstalling DirectX using the once given in the game files. This didn't seem to work, I also tried switching between window/borderless modes and this didn't seem to work either. I tried entering mangrove each of these times at night so... I decided to try one last time after doing all this instead this time I slept so that it was day time. I entered mangrove after making it day time and it loaded without crashing. (Not sure if this was the official solution as I don't want to quit the game and re-test, but maybe it can help out someone else)
it's too random i've done every possible solution out there, it's just luck at this point. 38 crashes so far i just stopped playing cause i've had to replay so many parts multiple times, can't skip cutscenes, whatever happened to "quick save"? every damn dragon quest game had it on DS, 3DS, hell even gameboy color games...
on my pc, when i see a cutscene on the game(even the cutscene before the title screen), the game freezes and then continues... my pc has all the recommended setting of canyourunit, except for the graphics card. Mine is AMD Radeon HD 8670M. But it passes in all the pixel shader, vertex shader and dedicated video ram.
I had same issuse with my GTX1050ti mobile only fix was to lower shadows to 2 or lock lock framerate to 30fps. You may need to even more setting but play around with them until your fix the issuse.
I have tried to adjust just these settings and for me it didn't work. Maybe I need to tweek the game with my AMD settings app or something, but there are so many configurations... Do you think it's because i should put the game on the lowest performance ever?
i got the crash at manglegrove on the first visit there, then reloaded the game it went fine but then i reloaded my save (stupidly died to poison) and crashed right away crashed about 4 times in a row, restarted PC, changed window modes, etc, almost gave up but then 5th time it worked went back to cobblestone, and then went towards emerald coast, crash. reloaded game, didn't crash, got to tomb and crash when going into tomb after about 7 times trying so many options, windowed, bordless, fullscreen, restarting PC twice, even just flipping random graphics options on and off, 8th time trying it it works got the red orb entered Hotti, and crashed again, got annoyed and gave up for the day so it's VERY VERY inconsistent on when it crashes

I have the ones on PS1, PS2 and PC, skipped PS3 because they were later on PC. But been playing them for a while. Might have to reboot the old PS2 versions to remember the battle systems, I got use to Quest Heroes!
Hey not sure if this issue was resolved by anyone yet. Im getting pretty bad stuttering during some cut scenes but its not fps lag. Also every time I try and go into the Mangle grove area after leaving Heliodor my game crashes with no error. Any help is appreciated, thx. Sooo.. its like Revenant kingdom with final fantasy(turnbased one's) combat? wasn't expecting something so old looking in 2018 I'm not bashing turn based combat tho since I grew up with legend of dragoon and final fantasy games. It just feels sooo old with graphics like those, it would really be cool if they used star ocean active combat system with power ups when combining attacks with team mate. Thnaks for the game!
You mean those games are like Dragon Quest sense this series is the reason why jrpg's are they way they are today. You want hack n slash bs go play dragon quest hero's. Also its not the graphics you are having an issue with its Akira Toriyama's "Yo know the creator of Dragon Ball" art style.
just got to mangrove and it crashed for me itll auto save in there but have tried twice so far no dice, and chenged it to admin and windows 8 and 7 compat, gonna try rebooting now and see if that does anything? EDIT not sure if it did anything but saw changing it to window mode helps? i did also reinstall directX from folder and seems to work in mangle grove now

+1 for switching to windowed mode, worked for me after several frustrating crashes. If anyone else is suffering, might try this, your mileage may vary.
They need to fix the load crash. I've crashed when loading a save and going into a new area. Before changing major maps, I now save my game in two or three save slots in case my save gets corrupted. I've had one save file get corrupted, but had two extra saves to fall back on. If you don't want to lose progress I would suggest everyone to do this.
going from manglegrove to gallopolis i had 17 crashes that i counted it seems really random so far i've tried every solution, settings, restarting, reinstalling, so many things but it just ended up a chance to not crash
no, japanese voices were never recorded, the japanese version is basically voice volume set to 0, which adds rpg style sound effects to their words/text.
neither the gtx 1060 graphics card runs it stable at 60fps, one thing is that it runs with an internal graphic hd6000 that executes titles more fluidly like, metal gear solid, the witcher 3, overwach to more exceeding 30 frames, it is not about run, it's about knowing what you want to run. This game has a problem in the stability of the game over what it offers technically speaking and that a graphical gtx 1060 6gb lower than 60 is a joke.
I'm kinda lost, now i don't know what to do with the crack folder (2 folders in it, Engine and Game). I tried to replace the Engine and Game folders in the full unlocked folder, but it doesn't seems to work.. I know i'm close to it, can anyone help me ? I just need clear and simple instructions ^^'
same, the installer even has a tag for automatically installing the crack for you. if you still have issues after that its probably outdated drivers or false positives of virus scanner

Like another poster said this game is highly recommended! I can't vouch past the first couple hours but it is just a really light hearted, fun experience that makes you feel like you're reading a old fantasy book on a cloudy day in the rain when you were a kid again. It also looks very beautiful graphically and has some of the best enemy designs you will ever see. My main complaint is that armor doesn't change the look on your character, bugger that.
make sure to apply the crack inside the .iso file after installing the game copy the contents of the crack folder into the game's iinstallation folder should work after that (the crack is a separate download below)
I bought it too but then shadow of the tomb raider came out and I am still only about 5-6 hours in. I plan to go back to it but I also got forza horizon 4 coming up and assassin's creed odyssey not to mention several other games like hitman 2 this fall! It is almost impossible to keep playing all these great games and when a massive MASSIVE RPG like dragon quest or tales of berseria come out it is so hard to get through them. Needless to say have you played tales of berseria? That is currently my favorite JRPG on PC and am really liking dragon quest so will see. Tales was incredible! I didn't beat it either ... 55 hours in though lol.

you need to download all 6 parts to make a complete archive. Without all 6 you can not extract anything. The extraction will fail after it processes part 1 if thats all you download.

I have to say that I really don't care for the music either. I usually turn music off in games and just play with the sound effects (much more visceral, immersive and I don't care for most video game music anyways) and after the droning music over the 6-7 hours I've played I had to turn it off. I wanted to keep it on though because people say the music is so good, but the battle theme is just agonizingly repetitive. :( I don't know if it is because of midi or the total lack of any variety.
i think dragon quest 8 had orchestrated music, i listened to some of it on youtube and its mindblowing they used this low quality stuff for dragon quest XI. some say it went with the old school style and try to defend it, but it just doesnt fit with the updated graphics. you're not the only one who turned off this circus music

The Dragon Quest series always used MIDI. Not because they are being cheap, but because the orchestral version of the music is owned by someone else, so Square Enix would have to pay A LOT of royalty fees to use it.

I doubt we will see monster hunter world cracked because you need to authenticate with capcom essentially connecting to a mmo server structure. If there was some sort of peer to peer play maybe they could crack that but I am not so sure we will be so lucky. It does look fun though!
Not true. You can play it entirely offline if you want. I have it for the Xbox and I can literally unplug the internet entirely and still play it just fine. You only need to connect online if you want to make use of the co-op feature or the limited time events. I personally think the game isn't very fun solo but you can still play it that way if you want.

As for anything other than google and http://mega.co.nz they're very sluggish and all of my anti virus tell me they're not reliable. i resorted to using the torrent even though its being suppa slow for no raisin. the last 2 dl have been very slow hoping there will just upload the crack since i dld earlier this week

It's the same style as the previous ones and it should stay as it is because if they changed it a lot of people will get angry especially since this series is really popular in Japan.
This game is turn based like the games before it in the series and yes, it has been toned down so a wider audience can enjoy it unfortunately. The older games in the series were harder, but this game is still great despite how easy it is.
It use steamapi controller support. There are no controller support in the game itself. If you just add non-steam games to steam, it will use steamapi controller driver to let you use your controller on it. I don't know if adding this game to steam will work since it is using steamapi controller driver. I never test it out if it work or not since I bought the game.
Oi, just a heads up. Game uses Steam's UI for controller support, xpadder doesn't register, and the mouse and keyboard emulates a controller. Good luck!
The minimum GPU requirement is GTX 750 ti. You will just waste your time trying to get this to run, and let's say it did run; what you're gonna get? 20 FPS at potato graphics? Just save up for a discrete GPU and save yourself the disappointment and time waste.

You can google for the crack depending on whose torrent you were using. Normally you shouldn't bother downloading the game until it has been cracked. Takes a few mins to download a single 5GB split file. The crack has been uploaded along with the split game download, you're gonna either have to download the game via split files for the crack or you can google for the crack yourself like I suggested in the beginning.
I hate responses like this and here is why: Just because you have great speeds does not mean everyone does. Just because it only takes you a few minutes to download 5 GB doesn't mean it's like that for everyone. Believe it or not there are still PLENTY of places with shit internet that make it so 5Gb takes up to half a day and more because they have no choice in it. It's crap net or no net. Because it's not true. Actual scene groups generally buy games. They don't need unlocked versions and even if for some reason they did they would get them from private trackers on the P2P side not here. is there any difference between the heroes version and this version. I know that this one is turn base and other is hack/slash. my question is both of them have denuvo but how come this one seem like more popular than the heroes II.
Heroes is a spin-off series that plays similar to Warriors games. This is a new mainline game that plays like traditional Dragon Quest games which are completely turn-based experiences

I just bought the game on Steam. It's really awesome! Totally worth the asking price. If you don't want to wait for crack and you have sixty bucks lying around, you can do no better than to spend it on this amazing game.
IGG doesn't have anybody on staff who can crack files. Anything like this, we wait for the scene groups to crack, then host the cracked game after they release it.
Even if it didn't have Denuvo. SE took this one a step further. It doesn't have proper controller support it uses the Steam UI to set up your buttons. Which you can get around easily on a pirated copy but still makes it a little tedious. Also, keyboard and mouse controls emulate the controller.

I picked this up for $44 the other day on GMG and it is currently $48 right now if people can't wait for it to be cracked. I think it is probably worth it since it is awesome and absolutely gorgeous on a 4k 32 inch monitor and runs VERY nicely for a pc port but I had no doubt square enix is killin it with their pc division for years now. Also it has been really fun to use the nvidia ansel mode to zoom around and look around the game it is very highly detailed almost insane how much so.

I played DB Xenoverse 2 cracked/bought, cracked never got down from 60 fps@1080p, while legit, can barely keep 51fps, gta V, same, hell there are many games who got shitty performance thanks to denuovo, even game makers of some game i don't remember, removed DRm just cuz cracked performed better. AC origin, no difference because CPY actually left Denuvo running, look, i am not ungrateful, i just want to play this game on my okay computer, i don't want CPY to crack this because i know they will bypass it only, trust me on this one.
No they wont, CPY doesn't do bypasses. Also your PC must be really shitty because mine, which really isn't all THAT great to be honest, ran both the legit and the cracked version of XV 2 flawlessly, very rarely did it dip under 55 FPS@1080P with almost everything turned up to max. GTAIV? same thing. Look at reports, look at video comparisons, the impact in gameplay only happened in the FIRST versions of Denuvo, it doesn't happen in a significant way in current versions, it's been proven time and time again

The answer to that is that game files are sometimes seeded out before they're fully released, but with a locked preloader so you can't actually play it. When the game releases, the unlocked preloader is distributed and the files are now "Full Unlocked". At least that's what I've gathered from responses in other games.

1.) Downloaded all 6 parts and crack fixed from http://MegaUp.net links
2.) All the parts in the same folder and extracted here with 7 Zip
3.) Opened the folder that the files extracted to and mounted the ISO file with Daemon Tools Lite
4.) Opened the drive that it was mounted to and ran the setup file
5.) Changed the install directory to my liking and checked Copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir
6.) Extracted the Crackfix files and copy them to the game directory and replace files
7.) Started the game with the shortcut that was created or you can create your own from the application at Game/Binaries/Win64
8.) Changed my settings before going deaf and enter my name
9.) Begin my adventure (After doing some tweaks in the ini files for better graphic/stuff)

By changing the 'FrameRateLimit' value to 144 in the config file GameUserSettings.ini (find it in Documents\My Games\DRAGON QUEST XI\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor).
Now you can stop suffer because of the 60 fps limitation, Enjoy !
edit : and don't go to the fps limitation settings inside the game or it will override the .ini with 60.
When you hit a mandatory Casino later in the game, there is a crash with the patch if you try to play any but a few slot machines. I spent an hour playing with it before figuring it out. You will get stuck at a loading screen UNLESS you play the set of machines against the back wall, specifically slime ones. I don't want to give away that would be a minor spoilers, but it is a time when you get 2000 casino coins for free in a place that has a new casino that wasn't there before. DO NOT Play any of the machines grouped around the pillars, as even inspecting them will get you stuck. It wouldn't be a big deal except completing this section is mandatory to continue the story. Wanted to save people some time trying to figure out this issue, as i tried reinstalling twice, which is a bit time consuming.

iirc you have to replace to .exe in "Win64" and the whole "Binaries" folder in the "Engine" folder
And you should be able the run the game (use the .exe you just replaced, the shortcut could be badly linked)
If you're getting the steam page it means you either forgot the codex crack or the patch

The perfect JRPG to me. Yeah, it's classic, but perfectly executed and the story is well-told and has memorable characters. Around 80-120 hours of game length, depending on how fast you want to play it.
Not even mentioning the stunning graphics.(damn I love Unreal Engine 4 lighting...)
OST is a bit underwhelming though, but not necessarily because of the Soundfont used, more because the melodies are a bit uninspired.
Players have reported that the game crashes while loading which is one hell of a hurdle that doesn’t let them play the game. The fix for the crash is simple but it requires some work.
Right click on “My Computer” or “This PC” and select properties. A window will open and you need to click on “Advanced System settings”.
Select “Settings” under performance.
Click on “Advanced” Tab.
Click “Change” under “Virtual Memory”.
Uncheck “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives”
Click on “C:\”
Check “System managed size bubble”.
Now Click “Set” and press Ok and restart the system.
After the restart play the game should fine without any crash.
Worked like a charm!

Noticed after some tweaks that from saved game, it loads faster than before.
When talking to DAVE got higher % of progress bar, but still getting a crash (over 50X now)
So, guess I´m gonna have to quit.
Should be about 330mb.

Realized that "1" is not the minimum (it is "none")
Finally managed to get through the boat departing cutscene in Gondolio
So just to be safe, I immediatly went back to port and saved my game

So it could be something with the water scenes maybe
Almost sure my laptop can´t handle even minimum very low requirements
Next gonna mess with the seetings to see a playable combination (cause the lowest just made the game so ugly, specialy shadow made night seem like day)

If it works, then will probably try this to get over the cutscene and then switch back in case the graphics become horrible
Some issues I ran into at first:
IMO the minimum requirements are far from sufficient, as I lowered every setting possible to the minimum (windowed also, 30fps - also used the latest crack)
So I tried some things that have helped me a lot and reduced the crash rate. Unfortunatelly I did not try them one at a time to find out which ones are actually doing anything:

So, in the end I am leaning towards lack of lack of processing power (both) from my end.
I have just finished the Gondolia fight and cannot get past the loading screen/autosaving that happens after the boat is leaving.
The nex crackfix loads the game up faster, but I´m still stuck.
And it really sucks, because I don´t even know if it is possible to jump cutscenes (which would solve my problem imo) and that´s a very long one just to get a crash.
Tried more than 10x already.
Hopefully my experience helps other people and maybe some people can shed me some light on my issue.
Loved DQVIII and this just pushes it so much further.

It could even be the setting you have the game at. If your PC isn't good enough to handle it, then that could cause crashes.
I can load up any other game on my system and have no isues. heck, it runs Civ 6 fine. I am just gonna uninstall, clear up all the old files, and download a new copy and re-install

I dont know what more to do. This happens with all highly compressed games for me, which is weird because a year ago I could download and install these without problem on this very PC. I have 16 gb of ram, a ryzen 5, and a gtx 1080.

Might as well save yourself a headache of playing spots over and over again, hoping to get through with "tricks" that likely won't work.
By the sound of things some of the Denuvo triggers were missed. If you don't know waht any of that means, it's fine, just know it's not working properly and a new crack needs to be put out by Codex, or another team.
With the CODEX crack i couldn't get into the Mangrove. So i stand by my 60 bucks. Lol

People saying "check compability or run DQ's folder DXs to fix" do more harm than good.There is no such a thing as "luck".
During autosaves,denuvo does checks probably.Maybe not in every loading but in many of those.There are a few checks that havent been removed.

I m pretty sure there is a fck up with specific areas so when u are crashing going from X to Y ,try to X->Temp->Y.Try different approach and dont use autosaves.If u cant play,just wait for the fix or try random stuff ... People tend to spam bullsh1t like "read only" crap.We have no idea how autosave works.Probably it replaces the files and it doesnt write.

Try to alt tab open chrome etc... at this part be ready before* loading screen appears it helped me to enter at mangrove..

I couldn't get into the Manglegrove no matter how much i loaded the game up. So i said fuck it and started playing Recore after playing it for awhile i stop and tried DQ again, and it load right up. Got the Red Orb tried to go back and the game crashes every time I load the auto-save and try to go back to the emerald coast.
I said fuck it once again jumped back on Recore played it for sometime until it crashed because of the CE Codes. So i tried DQ again loaded right up.
(Note this is not a fix) Just a post about the weird way this game has been acting. But really i think it's just a Iffy crack.
Everyone is saying do this do that..turn down this install that. I've tried it all and the game still crashed.
Really i just think it works when it works and crashes when it crashes.
So I'll keep my thanks i just feel it's an iffy crack for right now I'll wait for a fix

2-Run the game in borderless mode instead of full screen.
3-This setting might help depending on your computer, you can switch back after clearing a common place for crashes like Manglegrove or Emeral Coast

4- I had to do this setting to clear Emeral Coast
5- Whenever you go to crashing areas like Mangleglove or Emeral Coast there will be random crashes, keep trying and you might eventually pass it and do not revisit those areas to avoid more crashes until the fix arrives.
PS. Right now I am stuck at the loading after fighting Jasper around 12 hours in, some people have said to keep trying because there are no new solutions, but this is not confirmed by me yet.
I'm probably gonna try a few more times and just give up and go back to playing DQVII 😔

Hi well I'm going to be fast and simple their anti-piracy denuvo made dragon quest 11 destroy because it takes the mass of resource from you so impossible to play. If you can play you'll only crash after when you get in and out of the cities so you'll have to wait until he makes a maj to remove because even steam players have problems with it.
to my pc, documents, my game and dragon quest. then go to, saved, saved
games and book. inside book you will see 2 files that say system 999.
what you are going to have to do is every time you are loading a thick
green line on your game map go and delete them 2 files. after you save
in game they will appear again and you will need to do the same thing
again on another thick green line when switching major zones. hopefully this helps
So far I have had 1 crash entering Mangelgrove, serveral crash loading church save in Mangelgrove, 1 crash enter Emerald coast from the closest entrance to Cobblestone (went the long way round without a problem) and no crashes after that until I tried to load a autosave in Gallopolis region.
loading regular save (from church) worked fine for a while! the system999 files haven't reappeared at all though?
I tried entering mangrove each of these times at night so... I decided to try one last time after doing all this instead this time I slept so that it was day time. I entered mangrove after making it day time and it loaded without crashing. (Not sure if this was the official solution as I don't want to quit the game and re-test, but maybe it can help out someone else)
38 crashes so far i just stopped playing cause i've had to replay so many parts multiple times, can't skip cutscenes, whatever happened to "quick save"? every damn dragon quest game had it on DS, 3DS, hell even gameboy color games...

Beside that, it's a good J-RPG.
crashed about 4 times in a row, restarted PC, changed window modes, etc, almost gave up but then 5th time it worked
went back to cobblestone, and then went towards emerald coast, crash.
reloaded game, didn't crash, got to tomb and crash when going into tomb
after about 7 times trying so many options, windowed, bordless, fullscreen, restarting PC twice, even just flipping random graphics options on and off, 8th time trying it it works got the red orb
entered Hotti, and crashed again, got annoyed and gave up for the day
so it's VERY VERY inconsistent on when it crashes

they didn't mix in turn based it was always turn based you should play dragon quest 7&8 i would play 8
dragon quest games have always been turned based only ones i know of that arent are the heroses ones and this is nothing like Tales of Symphonia

Tales of Symphonia= real time/non turn based combat

I'm not bashing turn based combat tho since I grew up with legend of dragoon and final fantasy games.
It just feels sooo old with graphics like those,
it would really be cool if they used star ocean active combat system with power ups when combining attacks with team mate.

The crack has been uploaded along with the split game download, you're gonna either have to download the game via split files for the crack or you can google for the crack yourself like I suggested in the beginning.
Just because you have great speeds does not mean everyone does. Just because it only takes you a few minutes to download 5 GB doesn't mean it's like that for everyone. Believe it or not there are still PLENTY of places with shit internet that make it so 5Gb takes up to half a day and more because they have no choice in it. It's crap net or no net.
