Cant run the game always telling me steam is not running so i installed steam and login then surprisingly it plays on steam, didn't even buy the game on steam
When I run it from Scum_Launcher, EasyAntiCheat says "unkown file version steamapi blablabla". I tried to delete EasyAntiCheat folder on %appdata% but no help. Then I run it from Scum/Binaries/Win64/Scum.exe, its just blackscreen for 30mins nothing comes out, I checked task manager it says not responding all time. Any help please?
sadly looks like files are missing from this game and no way to heal with any kind of bandage or even a sterilized rag. You click on the treat and it's all greyed out so without being able to heal wounds this game is basically USELESS!
I installed this a few days ago and i noticed files were missing i was able to give my guy a goatee while sitting up my guy it said files missing or unable to be located. The other HUGE issue is if i get injured and sustain a C3 or C4 wound i end up dying. None of the bandages work! I even tried to use cheats and the only way i can play is if i get lucky and my wounds are only a C1 but going against the battle droids most players end up with serious cuts. I'm going to try to download again I'm hoping it was just my download that was the issue. I'll post to let everyone know if it was my download or files are missing

The 0.5 version came out only 3 months ago not 5 years ago! LOL!!! You can check my post down below i posted it when the 0.5 update 1st came out they added bridges, boats and another big island in the south! It is a huge update! Before when scum was AT VERSION 0.4.84 THE SIZE OF THE GAME WAS 48GB'S LARGE! After 0.5 came out it was increased the game was now over 70GB's So the 0.5 update by itself was 22 GB large! They worked on the 0.5 update all thru the covid19 problems last summer then in the fall,Winter and finally released it in spring of 2021.I'm not sure who is telling you 0.5 came out 5 years ago but they are very mistaken!

I was very happy over the years i got a few external hard drives they are all the 2 TB and 4 TB drives i have a total of 17 TB's full of games. I think i really like playing video games! They say asian teens are bad they havent seen me yet! LOL!!! anyway so i should be good for another 10 years. I reccommend do what i do if you can save up as i always buy the best and ones that are very upgradable my old core 2 duo if i wanted i could put in an i9 intel processor put more RAM memory in and upgrade the video card and switch it over to 64bit as that rig can play both it's nice to have options and not be stuck. If you can on the cheap you can add more ram and or an upgraded video card and you can probably play both games no problem sounds like your rig just needs a little bit more oomff! Good luck!

I thought version 1.17 was ok but when the dev put out the 1st big update i was kinda impressed then the 2nd update came and i can't believe the great job they did! and now i'm downloading the current major update this game is a real diamond i have no idea why it hasn't been more popular maybe the name throws people off go watch a current version video and you will see how far they have come with this game! yeah i had same problem! You need to totally uninstall game from your hard drive including the scum file in C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local and look for scum folder that has to be deleted! then install the new game! If you still have problem then after you installed the new version you have to go back into the new scum file AppData\Local\SCUM\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and go into GameUserSettings and change FullScreenMode -1 and PreferredScreenMode-1 when you open them they will both have zero's just change both of them to 1 and your game will work!!!! Have fun!!!
Sorry they never updated this! Current version i'm playing now is 03.67.19766 and as i said before with the last two updates being so large the games has more than doubled in size Currently updated game is: 46GB! It's 20 if you stay with 1.17 I hope this helps those considering updating it good luck!
Update: Igg contacted me and told me NO! Looking back thru chat people have been requesting an update for over a year now I think they should have just posted it on here long ago that they arent going to update this game not wait a year to tell us! So anyway i have gone and updated the game at another site and the update is a major one! I highly advise getting the update with the weapons and new vehicles. Scum did a similar update like dayz but much larger! This is a real fun game! Sorry i dont have better news for everyone! Good luck!

I use pirating as a way of "trialing" games. Steam's <2 hour refund isn't always reliable when you're always looking at the clock to get the most time in. If I think a game's devs deserve money I won't hesitate to buy their game legitimately.

This game is still pretty fresh off the boat and not greatly optimized, so if you have a well off rig, and running into problems, just wait a few more months for them to better optimize it. A ton of people are having problems with it
Well, thing is: intel graphics and media control panel is nowhere to be found on my pc, from what I could see, intel answered that it's deactivated automaticaly when a graphic card is connected to the desktop
I guess I'm just unlucky, for me the igpu is here like in the second picture, but intel software tells me it's "offline" and I don't see it in the nvidia control panel.
Did you leave the folders as is when you extracted? There should be two folders; engine and SCUM. Keep them both together then go in SCUM>Binaries>Win64> then launch LAUNCHER.exe or LAUNCHER_x64.exe if you have a 64 bit system. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure what you're doing wrong.
I did some researches on my side, and there is no need to activate your igpu on a desktop since there isn't a software like on laptops (optimus) that allows to divide the work between igpu and gpu.
Of you've got a desktop like me, the igpu is deactivated by default when you've got a gpu connected, you need to activate it in the bios, for exemple on my asus bios, it's named "Multi-Monitor" Edit: I did some researches on my side, and there is no need to activate your igpu on a desktop since there isn't a software like on laptops (optimus) that allows to divide the work between igpu and gpu.

For all of you struggling with fps add the launcherx64 application to steam through the add game option in the bottom left. Then once its in your steam library right click on it and go to properties, then launch options and type in -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 <----After typing that in launch the game now through steam and hopefully you see an improvement. If this also doesn't work further optimizations can be found by typing in your windows search bar %appdata% and navigating to local/SCUM/Saved/Config/Windowsnoeditor and then going into the GameUserSettings file to make any changes you want. Hope this helped!

For my i7 it's an old 3770k 3.5-3.9ghz, and my pc is in a tower, I know my graphic card isn't a beast(far from that), but to get shutterings with everything on the lowest, it's pretty crazy.
I think the game was optimised by a stone.... this game push my i7 to 51% my 12 go of ram to 60% and my gtx 1050 2go to 68°C on low, with shutterings, low fps, and a crash after 5 min in game.
Small update: With some overclocking on my gpu, modifications in the nvidia panel, and by adding -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 to my game's shortcut, I managed to get playable fps with still some shuttering but less than before.
Even shroud on his stream said the game has optimization issues. It runs silky smooth when you start it but then gradually gets worse. They must have some memory leak problem or something. The original game, has nothing to do with the crack.

Many indie games use Steamworks for the matchmaking and servers, and some cracked games bypass Steam protection but still use Steamworks, so you can play online.
You don't need to run steam to play this, I'm currently in game. All I did was launch it with LAUNCHER_x64 and it started, hit single player and I'm currently creating my character

I've used my normal account with some cracked games, and the risk of getting banned is minimal, but it exists. Creating another account is safer, they can still track your IP, but it's very unlikely 'cos they would have to do it one by one, and that is just not happening. But it is definitely a bit safer, if you are unsure.

Edit: I did some researches on my side, and there is no need to activate your igpu on a desktop since there isn't a software like on laptops (optimus) that allows to divide the work between igpu and gpu.
most EAs always has bugs, horrible optimizations, bad codings, etc.

EVERYONE will experince lag and stutters.
-USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 <----After typing that in launch the game now through steam and hopefully you see an improvement. If this also doesn't work further optimizations can be found by typing in your windows search bar %appdata% and navigating to local/SCUM/Saved/Config/Windowsnoeditor and then going into the GameUserSettings file to make any changes you want.
